Quote of the season could only come from a Poole fan, we were the better team one rider scoring 0 and a heat leader only getting 5. Really!!!4 points

Well, I enjoyed the meeting. It was a lot of gate and go but the racing improved towards the end. That's the third meeting I've been to this season, and the third one with a long delay! Hoping for better luck at Kent on Sunday. We left Wroxham at 17.45 and arrived just after 19.00 but the journey back was interesting as the A47 was closed so we ended up going everywhere somewhere and via Swaffham. As a one off visit I couldn't really fault it.4 points

Didn’t watch the meeting but I have been reliably informed that Poole were not the better team.3 points

I think he was celebrating not getting clobbered by Doyle,as Holder pulled a locker like he does right in front him.Any lesser rider behind him and he wouldn't have even made it to the line. Problem with Holder he thinks he is some kind of superstar now he's in the Gp's.Comes across very arrogant.3 points

Tight meeting kept it interesting but very slick tonight. 0 passing and very little racing, bit disappointing2 points

As I guess it’s aimed at a Brummie, you could call them a Yam Yam. It’s probably as offensive as calling someone from the Black Country a Brummie.2 points

Most of our matches have hinged on that middle pairing turning up, been the story of our season so far. Don’t know what you’re getting with them week to week. Could do with one of the weeks they turn up tonight or we could be in a bit of bother.2 points

Don’t know what we are offended about but I am offended that I don’t know.2 points

If Dan rides it's: bewley, Wright, cook, Lambert, Brennan & howarth Vs Doyle, fricke, rasser, Becker, ruml & blodorn2 points

I'm amazed this debate is still running. Riders will accept guest bookings providing they fit in with existing commitments. They want to earn money. Teams will not stand in their way. After all next month they might be the ones needing a guest.2 points

A strange feeling this , a meeting I actually hope Edinburgh win. Go for a lie down now2 points

I think it's wishful thinking. The sport has never been like that. tracks have never provided perfect racing from heat 1 to heat 20, Not now, Not ever, not in the GPs, Not in Poland. And despite what we of a certain age would like to believe, certainly not ever in the past. The 60's 70's and 80's provided as many garbage tracks back then as we have today. and the racing wasn't over taking every race, despite what we might like to believe. It's a lovely thought and it's something to strive for, but are our expectations for the sport too high? Don't get me wrong. The track materials like the clay based shale is useless, but that is the best surface for the stock cars. Without the stock cars, at Lynn. There is no speedway, simple as that. One pays for the other2 points

I heard on Radio Oxford either earlier this week or the tail end of last week that representatives of PETA were invited To the stadium to see the facilities for the Greyhounds and talk to those involved in running the Greyhounds, they declined I'm rapidly approaching my 60th birthday in an an ever changing World, where what was common usage of language in my youth is now frowned upon. I'd say in my life i've been pretty open and not given a toss about Race, Religion, Sexuality etc but to come across people who only believe what they want to hear/see and never listen to the otherside of the argument, you're all just narrowminded IMO.2 points

Would definitely recommend a visit to Oxford for those fans that dont have a local speedway team to watch. Quite a few Robins fans there from Swindon and district, plus other former nearby clubs such as Reading and Coventry. A few from London and south-east as well. Good stadium, easy access, good facilities, some good racing, and big crowd around 2000 with noisy atmosphere. With Newcastle closing with crowds of less than 400, and general negativity surrounding British league speedway it's good to see this success story in central-southern England.1 point

Can't understand deserved a point. Don't recall any EFs, Kemp fell off in a 3-3 and re-run was still a 3-3. If want to win at Edinburgh have to have it done by heat 12, if you don't you'll lose. Was no bad luck involved as such result was fair1 point

Another super meeting, not sure the scoreline quite reflects the good racing. Kerr and Riss were spectacular but big shout out to Edwards with I think paid ten in the main body. Harris was spectacular but lacking speed, Flint started well but tailed off a bit and Knudsen showed great promise. Also great to see Lyden and Kileen not too badly hurt after that crash in the second half, looked a scary one!1 point

Thanks for that. I won't be selling mine anytime soon, I will leave that to the kids to do when I'm gone. That includes every world final programme from 1936 onwards.1 point

It's a good job the scores were close until the end because as a spectacle of Speedway it was total rubbish... except for heat 15, Picko almost doing a Joe Screen wheelie at full speed!1 point

Public embarrassment even after cheating in heat one, Poole to win zip this year.1 point

As expected no answer in 13 and 15 for them to win. But an absolute dire meeting. No passing at all.1 point

Poole have an uncanny knack of visiting teams when they are having problems (in the right place at the right time). However even if Masters was fully fit, outwith Masters & Pickering, Monarchs 3 - 7 will struggle to beat their counterparts, apart from Ablitt.1 point

Just some of my thoughts on last night's meeting which I watched on the live stream:- 1. I think the overall coverage is very good. The presenters do a sound job and there were plenty of rider/manager interviews. Commentators made one or two errors but not a problem and overall very good. 2. Very easy to sign onto the stream and who would have thought three years ago that we would now be able to watch live meetings in the British Championship etc. Great innovation. 3. I thought Belle Vue would have really kicked on in this tournament with top riders like Fricke, Kurtz and Zagar. Both BV riders were pretty disappointing last night and has Fricke stagnated to a degree? 4. Well done again to Jason Doyle. Always a pleasure to watch and an absolute credit to British Speedway. Always gives his all as he did again last night. 5. Bomber having a great season and another fantastic servant of British Speedway. Always great to watch. 6. Jack Holder and Adam Ellis very hit and miss. Holder can look great one minute and then pretty average the next. 7. Josh Pickering is another very entertaining rider and I can see him becoming the new Doyley in years to come. 8. I thought the track seemed to ride OK but as others have said, it seems to have lost its reputation as being one of the best passing tracks in the country. 9. If the powers that be continue with this competition next year they need to have a big re-think as regards the inclusion (or not) of the rising stars.1 point

Seems a lot of woffle and conspiracy theories about Danny King and Guests in general to me. He's a self employed Speedway rider who has a limited career and wants to earn money. He'll ride where he can when he can surely. I'm told by a friend that he was at Plymouth on Tuesday night. Who knows maybe he's swapping with Kennett (joke BTW) Or maybe he's hedging his bets in case Poole don't run next season if their Stadium is closed (not a joke} Que sera1 point

A number of factors. It isn't obviously just the track which affects the quality of racing (and that to me is not necessarily just passing) but the riders involved too. In my view, the engine manufacturers and tuners are killing the sport because the bikes are so unpredictable on anything other than totally smooth slick tracks. They'll be riding on concrete next1 point

Connor Bailey is on the rising star list and he has beaten a few top guys this season1 point

Yes, I'd say there were 3 genuinely good Speedway races... question is, is that enough for your £20 these days? especially when you factor in a 20-30 minute delay for the sunshine.1 point

Great interview! That hour felt like 10 mins!! Great in depth answers to questions like about all 4 back and why not all 4 back and riders jumping the start and if they penalise themselves should you let the race carry on or not. Worth watching whatever club you support imo. If anyone wants to watch it back https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XhSPQPJMk2Y At least we know who is reffing the Poole vs Glasgow meeting now! Lol. Made me laugh when she said Poole fans will think Glasgow have their own ref (cos of her accent) and that Glasgow fans will think she's been down South long enough now to be a closet Poole fan and she is on to a loser with it!1 point

After hearing the times of perry in the 2nd half on Monday I actually think he’d comfortably beat Hans and jenkins1 point

As I said the track hasn’t moved nor has the sun at this time of the year - I certainly don’t recall any sun delays in 70s 80s or 90s but guess the riders wasn’t going as fast or they used tinted visors1 point
