Sounds like some away fans attending created some atmosphere.... What a novel situation.... It seems no "rude words" were used, however, even if there was... It generates a bit of rivalry which so many Speedway meetings clearly lack and ultimately suffer from... A shame that every meeting doesn't have at least a coach load of away fans in attendance.. Would give the meeting some meaning...5 points

how can discovery be worried about the crowd numbers at Belle Vue when you look at what's in Malilla!4 points

Don t think Emil would make any difference not sure if laguta could have maintained that level for another season Russia needs to get its arse out of Ukraine full stop3 points

Congratulations to the Monarchs for progressing, but that was a good effort from the Bears tonight. As expected, too much to pull back after last nights poor display. With a full team, or more choice of guests, I think it would have been much closer. Hopefully the Bears can get everyone back for the KOC final.3 points

Leicester hadn't ridden at home since August 6th I see, that score smacks of rustiness although Poole are built to always keep the scores close away from home. Glasgow in a very similar boat for the Play Offs, puts teams at a massive disadvantage for key meetings.2 points

Lions gated on a 5-1 but Morris stuffed Howarth on the 2nd bend to let both pirates through up the inside, Morris then binned it on bend 4. In the rerun King gated and Howarth only passed him right on the line, tbh I thought King had just held on.2 points

Poole were on a 5-1 in heat 13. Otherwise what would Poole fans be shouting for Morris to clear the track? From Poole Twitter: Heat 13 Pirates edge into first and second but Morris takes heavy fall off turn 4 and race stopped. To be rerun without Morris and after fence repairs2 points

Howarth rightly aggrieved after first running of heat 13, Morris stuffed him good and proper when Leicester gated on a 5-1 they were more than capable of holding onto, that's possibly going to be costly in the final reckoning.2 points

Zmarzlik is different class. Interesting they talk about needing 10,000 at Belle Vue to be viable, dont know how were there tonight but it was certainly not packed.Must have good Sponsors. Also interesting listening to Doyle telling us tuners rip the riders off and don’t produce what he needs.Yet Janowski who has had a poor season says his equipment fine ,just the rider.Doyle needs to stop whinging he’s done it his whole career.2 points

Forgot this was on. Looks like we are having a bit of a kicking. Oh well can’t win them all. Looking like a 52-38 type meeting unless we can rally. We have thrown some silly points away.2 points

Freddie having to use his head tonight, nowhere near the quickest but making himself big on track2 points

The carcass construction looks very similar to your drawing, the steel beads are there along with the other layers. The compound of the rubber is not really an issue like you say it's the construction. Lets be clear, the Anlas tyres are NOT wearing out. Tyre wear is NOT the issue. They are falling apart long before they wear out. If anything their wear rate is much better than the Mitas that preceeded it. Unfortunately that's unlikely. Not racing in the rain is very very rarely about grip levels, it's 90% about being able to see where you are going I believe it's poor quality construction and poor quality materials. But 100% what you have said is the issue2 points

Still get good meetings and good racing just not as much these days unfortunately since doc retired from doing the track.2 points

There is no rule that requires teams to make a replacement. The guest rule at times encourages teams not to find new riders! Don't blame Plymouth for following the rules. Blame the rules.2 points

I stand to be corrected on this Bruno, but the cost of staging a GP in Bydgoszcz(was told by a friend who lives in the City back in 2010 when i last attended a GP there)was over £400k to stage a GP at Polonia Stadium.1 point

So could be based on now then Zmarzlik Madsen Dudek Lambert Lindgren Bewley Nilsson Holder Fricke (Bewley if he drops out) Kolodzei (if Madsen doesnt overtake him) Wildcard x 5 (6 if Madsen wins Euro’s)1 point

Let’s see how many trophies are in your cabinet at the end of the season before you start gloating and remember Leicester have already done you at your place this season .1 point

Tai is talking a good story, but like you the jury out out for me too.His league form has been poor this season too.1 point

Why would Poole fans be shouting at a rider who had taken a high speed crash to clear the track under any circumstances? What's wrong with them?1 point

Inactivity is an issue too. Long as entertaining couple of meetings I'll be reasonably happy1 point

Congratulations zmarzlik, he is a class above everyone else around at the moment, hope laguta back next year too1 point

Should be excluded under the 2 minutes surely. Really don't think they should have done the interview etc before the semi final 2.The other 3 riders have plenty to race for.1 point

It was the same Thursday night at Peterborough, if you told someone that was a GP rider you’d be very surprised. The top riders do not give an inch1 point

It has nothing to do with me supporting leicester. I'd just like the idea of a cup final to it.1 point

Okay, anything within 10 then. Tbh I'd take same score as last time!1 point

I think they should improve . They weren't great last time out but just looked a little lost. Max clegg seems to have got better at home so who knows! Kemp got 7 rides at reserve last time out and I remember thinking he can ride this track well. But Dan Thomson also did the same at Poole . Can't wait for a close meeting hopefully.1 point

No Plymouth fans did anything wrong, on the contary they were well behaved as ive already said. It was just one individual {Poole} who is known. To be honest he should have been ejected from the stadium.1 point

Think most fans would agree, the racing has deteriorated in the last few seasons.(various reasons I assume).1 point

Hans Andersen will be a Panther next year imo. No way would the club allow him to leave on his extremely low average. He's nailed on to ride @ No.6 for us in 2023 imo.1 point

You've had a stinker here! Suggest you a have chat with the Scunny promoter who blocked a signing Plymouth tried to make to replace said rider!1 point

Really? Changing a ridiculous rule that every team in all leagues may need to take advantage of at any given moment? I would suggest unlikely... Turkeys don't vote for Xmas....1 point

He is doing well in Poland now ,but it’s a big step up to the big time and plenty competion. He will be making good money though.Interesting to see what he’s does if Edinburgh don’t run next season.1 point

So basically the Poole fans are saying the Plymouth fans did nothing wrong Plymouth fans are saying they did nothing wrong, does the mean it was a Poole fan who was out of order?1 point
-
Don't think there's a panic, just a desire to see finals raced in the summer in good weather with good crowds. Compared to the more likely league / cup / trophy finals all being raced at the end of October.1 point

Scunthorpe should of been given Plymouths Play Off place. At least their Promotion sought replacements for injured riders, Kinsley, Palin and.Kennedy. Gladiators Promotion made no attempt to find a replacement for Kennett. Or a couple of changes to use up the available points.1 point

The only options I can see for the Edinburgh Monarchs are - Buy Armadale Stadium? Trackshare with Glasgow or Berwick? - The latters extremely unlikely because of strict planning restrictions and the stadium being also used for football. Moving to Workingtons too far, remember Glasgows disastrous spell in the Cumbrian Town in 1987? Would the Cowdenbeath stock car promotion allow their track to be covered in shale and the Monarchs move in? - Its only 22 miles from Edinburgh so a similar distance that Armadale is from the Scottish capital. The long serving Edinburgh promotion has proved to operate one of the best run speedways in Great Britain (not my opinion but fact when you look at what they've achieved since the mid 1980's!) so I have more faith in them coming up with a positive solution than I would with most other promotions. - Good luck!1 point

My dad passed away on a Thursday in 2015, I went to Edinburgh Speedway on the Friday as a tribute to him. He was a massive Speedway fan & I know he'd far rather I went to the match than stay at home. Obviously I was mourning at the time, but that didn't mean I couldn't celebrate his life & what he loved to do at the same time. So I don't understand why Speedway couldn't show respect by having a minutes silence & then celebrating her life instead of cancelling? Anyone who disagreed with running the fixtures didn't have to go to them!1 point
