Most teams would fit in the Prem, as they are mainly the same riders, with, maybe, slightly different averages!! No doubt whoever the 1-7 are, along with a track that always produces good racing, together it should get people to Redcar for every meeting and that's all you can ask for. If they win a trophy or two along the way, that's a bonus.6 points

For those Glasgow fans who aren't impressed with Harris, can we do a swap for Rory Schlein.6 points

I am very disappointed Danny won't be back next season and it isn't about the numbers game, they obviously prefer other riders,, probably Steve Worrall, I would prefer Danny king every day of the week.4 points

As ever it's all cloak and dagger How hard is it to be fully upfront with the Rising Star criteria and a full list of who qualifies? Similar applies to a full list of team building averages for EVERY rider. There is no reason it shouldn't be there plain as day for all to see3 points

Can’t work out your dislike for our Captain that’s all , I admire any rider that cocks his leg over on a bike for my entertainment3 points

Glasgow race Friday`s mostly, he has Glasgow airport close by with Edinburgh not a million miles away, even Manchester at a stretch. So, all good links to where he needs to be for Longtrack GP` s and the like.3 points

I have been a Bandits season ticket holder for 13 years but I will not be renewing this coming year. As there is no concession(I am 68 y-o) & have a round trip of 200 miles I do not think I will attend at all.2 points

I`ve had a season pass for the last five season, including the one cancelled by Covid, its very very unlikely I will be getting one for next season. I will attend the first meeting or two then see how things are going. £20 to watch Championship speedway is way way over the top IMO.2 points

I would add to this, a rider who moves club's and away average is higher than his home average was in the previous season, plus to a lesser extent, a rider who rode as a heat leader in the previous season but you sign for a second string spot.2 points

Its a classic six of one situation....without the movement of riders into, through and onwards from the NDL it becomes very stale. That said lower points limits creates artificially increased averages that can see riders frozen out. Whatever the limit it would be nice if it was consistent year on year (or at least a shown formula or team limit vs teams in the league).2 points

Heat 1 also has the added advantage that there is rarely a question mark over where on the track to ride. If you make a start and hug the kerb, it's not often you'll get passed. Obviously the No 1s have an outside gate, but if you ride at 5 and are out in heat 4, the track can be starting to develop by then where there can be more than one line. Truth is some riders like going out in heat 1 to set the tone, some really do not.2 points

Positives He's a genuine CL Heat Leader He'll turn up every week when fit and give 100% He's not too long in the tooth as to be likely to lose form suddenly The key will be who will be the other heat leader along with Sedgeman.2 points

Morris is a good, solid signing and consistent at nearly all tracks. I'm not sure he's exciting enough to put extra bums on seats so Brum will need deep pockets again this season I feel2 points

In a GP there are 5 heats on a fresh track: 1,5,9,13,17. Riders nos. 2-16 each appear in one of them, but rider no 1 is in all five. But I agree with your initial point2 points

As expected signing and undoes a lot of the good work gone before it, if they do finish with MPT, Allen and Douglas will be a good side but could of been better2 points

I'm not sure that is the reason. For a start, Mildenhall has had stock car racing for years. More importantly, the stock cars do not run every week (usually once a fortnight) and the speedway certainly used to attempt to run on the Sundays when there had not been racing the previous night, thus giving ample time for track preparation ((i have seen the track on a Sunday morning after a Saturday stocks meeting and it looks like there has been a bombing raid). To be fair, I haven't been for a while but there did seem to be an issue with the track last season at least, with a number of meetings subject to multiple accidents and lengthy delays. Whatever the case, I really hope this can be pulled round. I have a lot of happy memories of Mildenhall, some good friends there and you won't get a more devoted speedway fan than Phil Kirk.2 points

Always expected Brennan back. Should be looking to up his average in a weaker league, especially if riding at no 3.2 points

There is a reason, they don't want us to know as they haven't all got their teams sorted yet so adjustments to the list may look amateurish (sorry, had to laugh at the last bit whilst typing)2 points

I feel so sorry for Mildenhall as I enjoy my Sunday afternoons at West Row. I agree with your comment about taking 2-hours plus for roughly 15-minutes racing, but that applies at almost every track. But on the flip side of the coin mate, would the public be prepared to pay their money to travel goodness knows how many miles and hours to be at a venue for around an hour. Buxton were a class act at getting meetings done and dusted in a reasonable time. I really don't know what the answer is, but I just hope somebody comes up with one for the sport in general, because it's dying in front of our eyes.1 point

In Logans run when a person reached the age of 21 they were willingly executed via a pleasure-inducing toxic gas. Guess speedway folk would recognise that as the aroma of burning Castrol R401 point

Not sure if you can really compare Allen/Heeps not last season but the season before when Jake came back to Ipswich last minute when really planning to be out of the UK for the year he started in very good form which dipped but from memory you had Jake, Starke and someone else who really needed to be riding at no.6 to gain some confidence back, he ended up riding at no.2 or no.4 as his average didn't drop enough to fall into the reserve spot due to the form of the other two riders! Last season he didn't have a prem place, got a last minute call up to Belle Vue which didn't go as planned, he had some bike issues at the start of last season, where as for example Danny King did but he was allowed time in his teams to get it right which he did towards the end of the season he did just like lots of riders really, he then got into the Sheffield team, got injured and Sedgman came in on fire was had to keep his place, think Jake done his scaphoid which is one of the injuries you wouldn't want as a speedway rider, think my old man had a couple of these injuries. Anyway in comparison one is still riding at HL level in the championship, one is hanging on as a reserve in the same league Jake on a 4.00 average is worth a punt for any side in the prem really, but I would probably say that he needs to show his form in the championship early doors this season and if changes then happen in the prem, he will be high on the list of riders to come in on that average, no brainer if he is averaging 7/8+ in the championship to bring him in on a 4.00 and ride at no.6 for any of the prem sides1 point

Pretty sure they have all made up since then. Only thing about Rew is does he really need to do Championship? Prob not but would be nice to see him in this league.1 point

Well given Harris isn't going to Birmingham looks pretty nailed on he's signing for us. My feelings are the same as a lot of tigers fans n going to take a lot to get us back on side. Given the other available options being riss and howarth then he's probably the best of the 3, but still not happy lol1 point

Certainly was, rather than take part in a farcical inter league challenge with at least one rider representing both teams!!1 point
