From a neutral i think basso needs to calm it down a bit, he often rides on the reckless side of things, which is a shame because the talent is obviously there. It was blatantly obvious he would of took cooks front wheel on the 3rd and 4th turn if cookie hadn't took evasive action. Being in the stadium and being a neutral it certainly spiced thing up nicely, ith the Glasgow fans obviously backing the home rider (which every home track support would) The bottom line is that if basso wants to continue to ride on the edge like the way he does, then he better prepare himself for a lot worse than that at the weekend, because at the top of the sport (where I think he has the talent to end up) there are a lot tougher and ruthless riders than Craig Cook.

So Cook had to take evasive action…….so what?…..that’s speedway and happens all the time. ……but for him to retaliate by making a move which gave no time for evasive action to be taken is just out and out dangerous. At the time, unlike folks around me, I was putting it down to a racing incident till I read Cook’s disgusting twitter remarks. Basso fined for pushing? The more that gets announced early though, the more the scrutiny on here of it's legitimacy...... Best to just announce nothing and keep your head down... The beauty being of course that even if things may not appear to some to be 100% correct, your opponents will invariably need to do something similar later in the season so will hardly kick up any fuss... IMO the thing about Monmore is that you need to have patience plus skill to pass( PK being one of the finest examples ) not just the biggest balls a fast motor with the throttle held to the stop for four laps .In the past riders came to the UK to ride the smaller tracks to gain the experience to make them a more complete rider .

He would have been allowed before the season had started,but he didn't come up with what he promised.You would have had a different team if he had put up what he had promised.Buster wouldn't put up with the burden of losing a lot of money just on promises. You have to be skilled to be good there and pass people, not just have a fast bike. Some do it well, others flounder.

Season ticket holders could get a refund for the matches they miss.. Sponsors are fans so I am sure will accept the odd missed meeting, and on the plus side, would now sponsor a team in a a sport with credibility that doesnt allow for any "strange" call offs like we seem to get from time to time, meaning also that their brand wouldn't be impacted by being associated to something that can be regarded as "a bit Mickey Mouse" when it comes to governance, integrity and credibility.. And maybe riders would be more inclined to ride on those 50/50 nights which currently see meetings getting called off more often than not, thus the fans feel a bit more confident on attending when all isnt "perfect"... Only being given a point for a draw would certainly focus the attention of the promoters to try anything and everything to get the meeting on I would think..

As far as I understand it, Bomber didn't guest for Scotty because Scotty hadn't ridden a meeting for Wolves. Instead, he guested for Boris, sorry, Luke Becker, who had also not ridden a meeting for Wolves. As they used to say back in the day, "Confused? You won't be, after this episode of Soap"

If you go on the scb website you can see a list of every rider registered to ride British speedway. Pedersen is no longer on the list so that definitely proves he’s gone, just keep your eye on the list when it next updates and you should find out if pboro have signed anyone

Ben is a talented and very exciting racer but around Ashfield he often rides like a lunatic, sometimes even trying to put himself into the fence. I can understand Cookie's anger as he had to take a lot of evasive action to avoid his front wheel being taken from under him on the third/fourth bend but it's Kyle i feel sorry for because that could have been a much nastier crash for him. He went over on his neck and was extremely lucky not to leave the track injured so a lot credit should come his way for coming out for the re-run.

They only need to be 4th from bottom come play off time... Then they can bring Lambo/#aceslegend back to retain their title so deservedly, and fairly, won last year...

Track was perfect up until heat 10 when rain started falling heavily.So no excuses at all for Belle Vue riders.

That was certainly not legal in years gone by, hence how youd see riders blatantly still injured riding half a lap and pulling up so the club could get a facility. Unless things have changed since Saturday my understanding is that Peterborough plan to resubmit their team on Tuesday morning to be effective from the meeting at Leicester on Thursday. Plans were in place for equipment to be driven over to UK from Poland Sunday However I now read on here that Peterborough do not have any visa sponsorship licenses so this may have all changed over the weekend. I see that some people have been questioning why GRU in Poland have not been tough on Max Fricke as well as Nicki, Simple answer is they know they can’t as the PZM do not have the same agreement with MA that they do with DMU with regards to start permissions . Also Max likes to live in the UK with his girlfriend so a condition of his entry to stay in UK is his working visa so needs to be riding here to live here

He looked very fast today. Was excluded in one race when he and Ben Morley tangled crossing the line. He certainly wasn't afraid of taking the high line around bends 3 and 4. He's definitely one to follow, wherever he's riding.
