Yeah, I'm sure the travelling Plymouth fans would have loved to see Nicholls and Masters ram home another 5-1! I was there, and the Plymouth fans cheered Barker home in heat 15. I'm sure they were glad of something (however small) to celebrate. Maybe one of them can clarify if they are on here. It also gave the Oxford youngsters yet more track time, which can only be a good thing for the Chargers. I'm sure there are cases where heat 15s are a joke, but don't think it's the case on this occasion. Win-win in my opinion.6 points

Panthers now not the crappest sports team in Peterborough3 points

It wasn’t the 2 Heat Leaders that was the problem,it’s the 5 reserves.3 points

Thankfully the fixture is listed in the Star, and there is even a column announcing the launch of the league. Hopefully the two replacements for King and Turner are of similar ability and we get an afternoon of close racing. Good luck to all those involved in this new venture .3 points

I'll do it if you like. Been a while though, last time wasn't even on a smart phone3 points

Wolves should win this. Masters, Worrall and Douglas all go well around the NSS and the track should suit Zach Cook.3 points

Leaving for lynn now lump hammer in the boot going to bash the pit gate again but dont tell um im coming will you .3 points

Christ, steady on! The score was 55-29 going into the final heat of a match that meant nothing to either side.3 points

It's amazing how every speedway fan could see the team was naff but the so called expert manager can't!3 points

Pretty good going by the ones we have had so far.But not great. 1200ish2 points

I must have witnessed something different, Didn't see any dirt bladed off. Tractor went round both ways moving what dirt there was to cover track evenly.2 points

No wonder speedway in this country is dying if we get comments like that from so called speedway fans……….idiotic2 points

No offense but NKI at No1 would make us worse than we already are unless he rediscovers the form of a few years ago..2 points

But the dirt was NOT bladed off as your saying it was just bladed down fact as it is every week.2 points

Well at least it means King and Wright wont get an extra ride!!2 points

4/7 regular riders is just shocking, it’s more like some testimonial meeting. How are people supposed to get behind a ‘team’ when it’s new faces every week2 points

It still doesn't make a lot of sense, though, does it? If he was pulled out of Heat 13 with a shoulder injury, why then place him in Heat 14 as a tactical sub? The Plymouth tactics last night were 'interesting' to say the least!2 points

Morris on a ten leaving the rest weak is part of the problem for sure but he should still be good for a near 9 ave by end of season? Nielsen as I said before is a ridiculous signing. Constantly falling off and on the sidelines and not that good when he stays on either. Sedgmen IMO has been a revelation since he took time out of the sport in the Uk and seems to of gone back a totally different rider. I do still think hes a bit inconsistent to rely on and would be a superb third heat leader but he hasnt been the problem. It is really hard to see Brum lasting the season unless their owner is made of money though. Crowds of 200/300 cant be good? What kind of crowds were they getting when they were in the top tier and finished top of the league that one year ? With doyle, king etc? Im sure i read they were below 1000 even then.2 points

From a big shot who wanted to buy the club and re locate. Bloke got carried away... He didn't even offer to pay Zagar an extra £100 a point..... I don't expect an a acknowledgment from the Panthers fans when it all comes out, who blamed Buster and said i was a troll. But it won't happen..1 point

Wright x1, Castagna and Mulford (3 between them) So expect Wright in Heat 8 and the other 3 rides when Bewley's in the race.1 point

Match day facebook post has Basso as the captain , so slapdash cannot even get the social media side of the club correct its just a case of well never mind that'll do1 point

Good point! Hadn't thought of that. I guess that depends on the council and we would pay for it, so depends on costing? Etc. But considering we still sit on wooden benches in the grandstand, I am not sure! I do prefer the Poole stream as links in with track presenter and see what is going on in the pits more. Yes and also does commentating and presenting on the Poole stream.1 point

I recognize that I'm spitting my dummy out...but I just can't justify funding something I don't believe in . If the owner/s have got any business sense, then they'd employ a 'proper' speedway manager before Rogers drives even more fans away.1 point

It’s gorton mate. If you want salmonella then there is loads of places lol. close by though you have the windmill pub which is like 5 mins away. Or the stable gate which is located in Denton roundabout about 8 mins away.1 point

I might be wrong but I think it was Chris Simpson as he also did the presenting for Cov Storm (which I preferred to the out dated Peter York)1 point

If Poole have a long term future at Wimborne Road, and if the greyhound racing has ceased, can the safety fence be moved out by a few meters to create a better race track?1 point

Brilliant result for Redcar. However looking at their home scores so far, 53 vs Berwick, 49 vs Scunthorpe & 49 vs Birmingham. It's certainly not over on aggregate.1 point

It has made it onto speedway shambles twitter page. Oxford played the ref! Brilliant1 point

Every rider mentioned it on BSN... I've seen matches called off with drier tracks1 point

Danyon did nothing wrong. Lawson tried to come across him he stood his ground, Lawson went bit wider because of that and Steve bailed out1 point

Ryan Kinsley paid 11 tonight for Oxford , would have been far better with Joe Thompson than Clegg and Ablitt1 point

We had an excellent visit to Workington on Saturday (including John’s Plaice on the way home) and wish everyone the best of luck for its continued success. The setup is superb and will be the envy of many folks (especially us Edinburgh fans). The track held up so well especially given the heat. We expected a dust bowl but it was kept to a minimum. Plenty toilets & food outlets available and perfect viewing from above the track Looking forward to coming back1 point
