Also meeting completed in 70 mins included grading breaks, which is excellent, well done to the scunny promotion.7 points

Buster Chapman has ruined the tracks at both Lynn and Peterborough. They were arguable the two best race tracks in the country, now probably the worst. Does he care? Does he hell !5 points
-
I thought laguta had a decent debut. He was getting more confident as the meeting progressed, riding wider and wider and attacking the track. Unlucky in heat 15 as he lifted. If he didn’t he would have gone onto another win. as Brady says he’s got to contend with tyres he’s not use to and track surface he’s not use to (clay). He will only improve. it’s easy to see where the problems lie. TJ, never going to improve from where he is now. MPT is not a heat leader, on his day yes but seems to be struggling this year, but your biGgest let down is jakobsen. He should be doing much better than he is. He’s an extra liga rider. Very capable of becoming a heat leader but he looks far of it. Buster needs a good talking to aswell. It’s clear lynn riders can’t gate so why make a track where you can’t pass (unless your holder) The modern day bikes are more suited to slicker tracks, and until lynn more away from clay based grippy tracks it will always be the same.5 points

Bailey rode like his life depended on it ,take a bow young man,2 paid maxs for Dougy and MPT,glad I got BSN some great racing.4 points

Brady has spent money to try & improve Lynn, so I can't see how fans can knock him. It's the other riders that need a kick up the arse.3 points

Redcar pretty poor except Conner Bailey who put most of his team mates to shame.3 points

Well I watched it on BSN and it looked dreadful, I can only compare it to when we went to watch Peterborough there the other week and it didn’t look any better.3 points
-
The main thing that needs solving is the track surface and material used . KL has gone from a great race track to a gate and go track .we watched on tv last night and saw nothing that would make me want to return to the terraces .3 points

Basso could be on the slippery slope as he & his mentor ( dickie juul ) have parted company3 points

I'm sure he was and good for him, he was excellent. However let's not pretend he was sacked when he shouldn't have been or harshly treated. He was poor at the time having got into a rut and needed that change to kick start his career again. Really happy to see a Norfolk boy back to his best.3 points

To be honest whilst the actions were despisably petty it has only had a positive effect on the Nora operations and gained a lot of support and interest from across the sport. Ultimately all publicity is good publicity and i hope it has not only strengthened the resolve of those involved but also tempted more to join the ranks.3 points

You also get some of the “older” top men protecting their average over the season for Employment next season.IMO ( no names). It's becoming a bit of a joke sport.2 points

A lot will depend on how much they drop the points limit by again. Diluting it constantly is short changing the public.2 points

Very comfortable win for the Scorpions, Bears never threatened to even get close. Lambert getting an untroubled paid maximum tells you all you need to know. Scunny will be very strong at home for the rest of the year. Racing got better and a couple of really good heats but generally not as good as I’ve seen at Scunthorpe. Connor Bailey the only bright spot for the Bears, some real aggressive passes and deserved his Heat 15 outing.2 points

Are they queuing out of the car park to see the debut of Drew Kemp? I don't get what people say about his "attitude problem", yes he had a tiny tanty after the playoff final last year but whenever I've seen or heard him he comes across as a thoroughly decent young lad.2 points
-
I read this forum regularly and didn't see any criticism of Adams or CVS, not by the Wolves fans anyway. Was this criticism posted elsewhere ? I do admit I had my own personal doubts about our prowess in heat 15, but as shown against Ipswich we can hold our own. So very happy with that currently.2 points

Lots of people on here having a go at Alex and the KL management but no way could anyone have predicted last night's result. If Laguta had raced to a maximum and inspired the rest of the team to victory his signing would have been considered a masterstroke and everyone (bar the Sheffield fans) would have gone home happy. Very fine margins and I don't think anyone can knock Alex for making the changes he has. He was let down by certain team members not performing which it is sometimes hard to legislate for. At least Alex hasn't stood still and should be congratulated for bringing Laguta over to the UK. The team, however, still needs some changes/freshening up.2 points

I'm no sure there's any pairing will work too well, they all want the same bit of track going to have incidents unfortunately..price pay for team of racers2 points

That is a big problem for British league speedway we have produced the big 2 Bewley and (Lambert who chooses not to ride over here ). but since Ellis (27) and the 30 ish plus brits Worrals. Wright Lawson etc. Brennan is the only rider i.m.o who seems to be showing any real promise of reaching Prem league heat leader status, and from what i can see most of the young riders out there look no better than Champ league level at best .If this is the case what happens when the 30 plus riders are past there best.2 points

Fishing & stirring & probably still disappointed he left Poole to join Glasgow even though it was obvious due to his Danish commitments. Didn't Masters get injured last year on a Friday, missed a Saturday meeting as he flew to Poland for treatment then rode on the Sunday. Amazing what a bit of treatment & a day off can do for your health.2 points
-
If they don't ride well together, time for the team manager to swap the pairings around? 2. Vissing 3. Brennan 4. Nowak 5. Basso2 points

They both seem to have something but away from Leicester, with a lot less meetings, they were always going to struggle at first. Interesting that they haven't got a place in the Polish u24 league when the likes of Albitt, Hagon and Killen are getting places and rides out there. In comparison to some of the others at their level, their experience away from Leicester and the UK is significant.2 points

Keep reading King out,,,, but no one says for who. Is there anyone any better on that type of average2 points

Don't think the signing makes the team poorer,Laguta is a class rider and Kye certainly done his bit,it was the remaining ones that let everyone down by putting in an even poorer display than they normally do.2 points

The difference is you have a home track where you can get away with missing the start, we absolutely don't. The best meetings I've seen at Lynn in recent years are those where the track has hardly anything on it and is dry, not dissimilar to some Polish tracks. Anything more than a little bit of material and it's too grippy. Great for stocks but not for good speedway.2 points
-
Which is never going to change while Buster fills the place with stock car fans once a month.2 points

We have a team that rides KL so well. Holder and Musielak really attacked the track they are both on absolute fire. Kerr very fast out the starts so far this year and he isn’t easily passed. Laguta will put better scores in, first time riding the track his equipment will be tuned up better I expect next time. Stay strong Kings Lynn fans stick with the team and the club.2 points

Lots better than last week,as Bagpuss said the car park was rammed. And last week i could count the supporters on a couple hands on bends 3 an 4.This week i had to use my hands and my webbed feet, then i lost count2 points

Away is not as important as at home. Home fans help pay the wages of riders, keep getting walloped at home & fans won't turn up, it really is that simple.2 points

I don't think confused covers it. In what other sport can you declare a team that doesn't stand a chance of taking to the track? In particular Nielsen. Nielsen was dropped. Now his name is being taken in vain, in order to get a facility. That's pulling the wool over the fans' eyes. And the rules allow for it. How does all this crap work? What's in it for Nielsen? As soon as Thompson is fit, he'll be out again, and at risk of being unemployed if Thompson rides to his potential. And how do the BSPZzz allow for a rider who is medically unfit be introduced as part of a redeclared team? Surely one of the rules that HAS to be looked at, is that only riders fit and able to ride should be part of a redeclared team. And the sooner the better, Well done Laurence Rogers for exposing yet another set of rules that makes a mockery out of the sport.2 points

Or like Tuesday heat 6 Bomber almost puts him in the fence on turn 2 in his haste to get to the outside. Marcin has to shut off and ends up out the back.2 points

I did enjoy watching Brady on the heat 15 interview, he has obviously been watching Hawkins when he loses, another smacked arse face. Not a happy bunny.2 points

Nicholls absolutely superb this season - has he invested heavily in equipment for his final season? Brilliant to see him going so well - one of Britains finest.2 points

Riding more has helped ...Been doing well at Poole ...Getting to grips with M.G..Being at reserve at M.G will bring him on ...1 point

It was definitely double what was here against Peterborough,so double that and we will take that as the final figure.Obviously cameras are deceiving.1 point

This. I think they're fine as they are. Our 3/4 pairing is a big advantage against most teams. We only drop points when Claus misses the gate and trips over riders as he blazes past them. Nowak at 2 cleans up in heat 8. And Tom has really grown in to the 5 slot. He's very reliable and that can be very important at 5 - you don't want riders who blow hot and cold there. It's a good team, they need to stay healthy and make sure they're ready to peak in September. No need to be perfect in June.1 point

Need more changes before next week, Jakobsen and Edwards especially!... Jorgie and Tofty not far behind them though1 point

Decent meeting, heat 15 with all the passing and close racing is almost as good a race as is possible to see! Dry slick track, were they expecting rain? Thompsons needs a break from the team. Not improving, not on the pace and getting fed up of it. King is King which is inconsistency/ doesn't adapt to different track conditions, but of course he is part of the furniture at Foxhall but for a team with title winning aspirations as a No 3 he comes up short. That said Wolves were very good apart from Flint, seems like they are on a mission after the devastating news about Monmore Green earlier this season.1 point

If hardened fans get into a lather about what's going on, how do you explain it to a newcomer to the sport? Or more importantly, how do you expect a newcomer to take it seriously? And you wonder why the likes of Deano, myself and many others who have been long time fans of the sport are fed up with it now? Anyway, my understanding is - James Wright - he was passed fit 2 weeks ago. Not being "on the pace" is no reason to have a guest or RR for him. Not seen or heard anything to suggest that he's been given another doctors note to say he's unfit again. You either ride him in your team or you sack him and replace him with someone else. As for Dan Thompson, he's not ridden for the team yet, so no facility should apply for him. EXCEPT that there is a "facility-lite" for when "proper" facilities don't apply, so that's a guest up to 75% of his average. But this being speedway of course, the rules are made up as we go along, so basically anything can (and probably will) happen.1 point

Belle Vue V Leicester moved from Friday 9th June to Friday 8th September as James Pearson and both Thompson twins would of been missing due to the rearranged Scunthorpe V Birmingham KOC meeting. Good move now can attend both legs of this encounter. Full team hopefully for the new date in September. Will be at the home one on Saturday.1 point
