To end up losing by 14 after Schlein’s withdrawal is shocking. Didn’t think we were ever going to win the meeting but those last few heats have probably chucked the bonus point away also. Then you’ve got the ‘manager’ coming on after the meeting saying we were unlucky a few times, the guy just waffles sh*te constantly Please put an end to the Complin experiment now. Good to see Marcin in the points, looked quicker tonight. Think he was more nervous doing his BSN interview than riding the track4 points

Bomber was passed, Jenkins slowed as Rory was on his line then he turned into bombers back wheel. The camera from the home straight is most revealing. It's one of those racing incidents no-one did anything wrong but someon had to go4 points

The trouble is too many promoters have a take it or leave it policy what should be happening is a meet and greet autograph session with all the riders. Opportunity to have your photo with your favourite riders and sit on a bike maybe. Anyone who shares it on social media is entered into a draw to win a pair of free tickets etc the accesability of the riders is unique to our sport yet we don’t use it to promote. The promotion needs to promote !!!!4 points

Good effort from the track staff... replacing the whole 4th turn air fence quicker than it takes to change a tyre at Glasgow3 points

Morris refused to comply with the test requirement. At that instant he took the matter into his own hands so I don’t see why other parties should be wasting their time investigating this further to assess whether the punishment should extend beyond the mandatory 30 day ban. Random testing is part and parcel of professional sport (even speedway falls into that category) and if you’re dumb enough to refuse a test it’s an admission that you have something to hide. I don’t see why the situation needs to be more complex than that. Serve him with the maximum ban/fine and move on.3 points

I'm just hoping that all the people who have fallen out of love with King's Lynn Speedway, will come along and help save the club from closure, if only out of respect for the people you used to stand/sit with, who you probably chatted or had a pint with, who still depend on it as there night out. As a club, they've suffered bad times, which is currently the case, and good times when they were in a lower league. What ever has happened before, nobody can change, but we can all help by offering our support whilst the club sorts its financial and managerial problems out, of which they will with our help and support, so we can move forwards again. It's obvious that a lot of you don't like Keith Chapman, and of course, that is your right, but if he hadn't bought the stadium in the first place, nobody would have enjoyed those wonderful years of the past, under his leadership, of which he now wants rid of. He's been quite open and said he wants to sell the speedway side of his business, and it's such a shame that Alex Brady had to leave suddenly for the reasons he gave, because I thought he was the right man to get the club out of the doldrums in seasons to come. He's publicly said that he would like to one day return, and who knows, that day could be tomorrow, or it could be two years time, only he knows that. Buster is obviously talking to people and sponsors behind the scenes, but he's never going to get people interested in purchasing the speedway business, unless more people return to the terraces. Those of you who constantly express your opinions on social media, on the quality of riders that are in the team, and bear in mind, nobody deliberately rides badly, as they're not earning their wages. Everybody in whatever form of life has there own level of ability, and that's how human life revolves. You complain about certain riders that have been signed, of which you have got that right to do, I'm no different. But just take a look at other clubs, and I don't just mean Peterborough, they are built in a similar fashion to that of King's Lynn. Ipswich are one club in such a case, that are complaining about Danny King, Erik Riss, Joe Thompson, before he was replaced by his brother, but you don't read of their supporters walking away from their club. Many of you say you no longer attend speedway meetings at the Adrian Flux Arena, but you must still like the sport, and have an interest in what's happening at/with King's Lynn Speedway club, or you wouldn't waste your time looking and writing on these forums in the first place. So please, help to keep King's Lynn Speedway alive, and the sport alive in Norfolk, in all probability, the county were the majority of you live, and return to the terraces for the last few meetings of the season, which will hopefully encourage someone, or a consortium plus maybe extra sponsors, to purchase the club from Keith Chapman, and see if they can put right what you don't like. Only you can do that now, so please give it one more shot, in an attempt to keep speedway alive in Norfolk3 points

Not bad for his first visit to Oxford, will wait for the "bringing back Marcin was a mistake" brigade to voice their opinions again. Same as Redcar away, tight meetings with a strong heat leaders and one strong reserve (Heeps tonight, Edwards at Redcar) and we just can't get heat advantages in heats 12 and 14. So it leaves it 50/50 on how the meeting plays out, From the results in heats 13 and 15. Barring in mind going into heat 12 we were only 4 points down. We are majorly struggling at 6 and looking at tonight's result I think finishing out of the top 3 is looking very realistic.2 points

Agree with all of the above we are clearly carrying passengers but things can change. The senior reserve is a major concern as is Vissing when it matters. But well done to a banged about Oxford side well deserved victory.2 points

4 points in it at heat 12. BATTERED by 14 at the end of heat 15. Changes NOW.2 points

Bomber should’ve been in with Marcin for heat 15, they were a good pairing tonight. Ben just tripped Bomber up repeatedly.2 points

Scott Nicholls! Absolutely wasted at Eurosport... come to Leicester2 points

Jenkins: man of the match... sorry i can't use the word man anymore... rider of the match2 points

Oxford were there for the taking tonight but Glasgow just didn't have the heat winning fire power to take advantage of Oxford's injuries. Can't see Tigers seriously challenging this year unless there's some kind of reshuffle2 points

I'm at Oxford and I think he's been good, just poor round the first 2 bends but plenty fast enough.2 points

They do need to test the drugs,, as they are getting weaker,,, I don't get anywhere near as high as I used to2 points

Should always be 2 points for a home win and a point for a draw. A simple table which is always easy to read and understand. Peterborough manage against the odds to get a point at Wolverhampton and deservedly so and somehow end up losing the meeting!2 points

While I hope Kings Lynn remain open the attitude of use it or lose it has to be eradicated from Speedway. In any other walk of life it would be seen as emotional blackmail. If you have a business you have to work to ensure customers return, not threaten them with closure if they don’t buy your product.2 points

I think the spectator viewing is fabulous at Leicester! If B'ham do fold, I would be tempted to travel and get my fix there!2 points

Well you could test everybody at every event but that would cost a couple of grand a time. Are people willing to accept a £2 admission fee increase for this?2 points

Thank you for the information but sorry I didn’t see it before we went although it was no problem. Really enjoyed the meeting. Good weather, good crowd. Lindback was really enjoying himself. He rode very well and had a few good tussles with Pawlicki. A last heat decider too and a new t-shirt for my collection !2 points

You will have to explain “Passing “ and “Excitment” ,. You will not have to explain the dust though .2 points

As was said by KT (I think it was him), if you got to watch a replay 4 times before you can notice a slight move then their was no movement. The 2 decisions were bad decisions that could have cost BV the match, and definitely affected Wrights earnings last night.2 points

Woffinden has been allowed to get to the level he has by the fact he's in the GP's despite never having qualified. Madsen was ignored for a number of years while being the top rider in Poland. I've said it before and I'll say it again would Holder & Bewley be at the level they're now at had they not been given the opportunity to ride in the GP's at the expense of the Russians? Or would they still be at the level they were at bumbling about on the cusp? We'll never know of course but just because you're not currently in the GP series doesn't mean you can't raise your game to the level of a GP rider2 points

What about that heat15 Scotty Nichols truly amazing in that race another gem served up at sandy lane1 point

Well done to Oxford , they dug deep after losing Schlein, hopefully Rory not too banged up, strength in depth works, unfortunately we need all our top 5 to be on top form to cover for our weak reserves and gating is still a major problem for Glasgow riders.1 point

I’m annoyed. We threw that away. We didn’t need to win - losing by 8 would be fine, easy enough to pull back at home with the boys firing. Just dumb choices in crucial moments. Good to see Marcin on it tonight.1 point

I'd love to go to Peterborough on Monday as I've hardly been this year now Leicester fixtures have often clashed... but after experiencing the televised meeting at Leicester this year I'm just not going to do it, far too much hanging around with absolutely nothing going on.1 point

Think Lakeside used to do £10 admission for tv meetings- they could try £10 off if you buy a ticket for the next meeting at the same time or a free programme- guess the argument is die hards turn up what ever happens so don’t need to do incentives .1 point

Me personally I would be on the phone to every possible foreign newbie,, and see if any accept,, work ya way from top to bottom of anyone that's in the world under 21s,,this year and the ones from last year and the year before,, then call the likes of the riders that haven't ridden here for a few years,, like Lahti, lebvedev,, Lyager, Huckenbeck,, then riders who ride Polish div 2 like Berntzon,, just call everyone,, see if someone can be pursuaded,,, got nothing to lose,,, don't want to keep going ba k to riders like Barker,, we should be setting our sights on riders like Gusts, Salonen,,Neilsen and so on,, riders that have potential1 point

Because riders in almost all instances operate within the existing rules quite well. Of course we could chose to make the rules more black and white including the addition of a 2 minute clock. But just because we have very few blatant exceptions, this course of action isn't warranted. Much of what's been discussed here has nothing to do with what happened last Thursday. A dislike of the amount of gardening is a good example. I would welcome a change in the rules to reduce the amount of messing about at the start. And we can debate that and how to achieve this. But the current rules are clear. If (and only if) there is sufficient time remaining within the two minutes, are riders allowed to garden. If a rider leave the pits with 30 seconds remaining, the starting marshal and the referee then indicate that the two minutes has expired, that rider is obliged to come to the tapes. If the rider chooses to ignore these instructions, he is delaying the start and is liable to be excluded. You might not like it but that's what the rules say and that's what happened. And for the record, it is my opinion that NKI was given adequate opportunity to comply and for reasons known only to him, chose to continue to prevent the race from commencing. It is perhaps even more telling that at the moment the referee flashed the green lights and some seconds later decided to put on the exclusion light, NKI was not gardening but was backed away from the tapes. The impression was that he was clearly being told to get on with it and he consciously decided not to. If a rider takes the pee or thinks he is above the rules he can be excluded for delaying the start. Which is exactly what happened. It is hard to arrive at any other conclusion than NKI decided he could ignore clear instruction from the referee and suffered the consequences. Fd bored now.1 point

To be honest I found the event to be a bit of an anti-climax. Without the Russians I was expecting it to be a lot closer but in the end Haarahiltunen completely dominated (well done to him by the way). As controversial as it may be the World Championship is missing the quality of racing the Russians bring.1 point
