Wish they would take the batteries out of that drone . It looked like cartoon speedway last night . It's even worse than the annoying helmet cam13 points

I think that Australia should replace Fricke. He only scored 4 after all. Any country with a rider who can only score 4 should replace him straight away. Does Chris Harris have any Aussie ancestry as GB don’t seem to want him8 points

Bit disrespectful of the Finnish manager to pronounce his riders names properly, rather than the mangled Tatum pronounciations8 points

Because Speedway in Poland is all about the team, when "the team" isn't involved you get crowds like you do in this country. it's why their league Speedway works, no made up the day before teams, full of guests, R/R's and double uppers. It's what the BSPL just don't seem to understand8 points

Thomsen shows that even when there's contact, the rider can stay on and doesn't have to fall deliberately, credit to him.6 points

Wroclaw is a great race track every other Sunday... When Phil and the GP/SWC team get there they work their magic... And it becomes crap.... Why is Phil directing the track prep anyway? Let the Wroclaw lads do it, like they do every fortnight...5 points

They would have got a much better crowd by hosting last nights meeting over the border in Germany for instance. Hardly a big deal for logistics etc. Tonights meeting in Denmark , then move to Poland for the last two meetings. 4 meetings in a week in one country is never going to work for crowds or the track5 points

For the umpteenth time- tac subs when a team is 6 points behind the leading team - 1 ride only per rider. Only up to heat 16. No 5 can replace another team member at any time and can have 5 rides plus a Tac Sub ride.( Same. Max as other riders)5 points

When Rye House moved into the Premiership I saw a bloke I know and he said “amazing, we get to see Chris Harris every week,” as we had signed him. I told him we’d actually been short changed, even if we’d not signed Harris we’d still have seen him most weeks.4 points

In Steve's defence, it's usually The Toad that kicks things off. Has to be the most argumentative person on this forum!4 points

So Denmark led from start to finish. Aussies needed two TS and a an exclusion to get back into it, but Tatum and Louis reckon they won by the skin of there teeth3 points

Possibly the weirdest graphic ever - individual scores in a team meeting3 points

It's in the SCB rule book, but basically it's the same laws applying to every drone in the UK which is they have to be flown at least 150 metres away from gatherings of people.3 points

The change in the GB set up from beer and pizzas to the current professionalism has shown it’s value. We struggled for so long as a nation to provide any impact and now we have eclipsed Sweden and may well also eclipse Australia and Denmark. Although Adam Ellis’s score was less than some wanted, (though few expected different) his heat 1 win against the current World’s second best rider set GB up for a positive night when we were never headed. I am sure he’s already analysed what went wrong and is working within the team - fellow riders, team managers, sports specialists and engine tuner to help him improve on Saturday. Flying in a substitute rider now, whoever that might be, has the potential to undermine the whole team on the grounds of “we don’t believe the group of people who have got GB to the final are the right group, so need to make a change” I don’t believe for one moment that dropping Adam and bringing in a replacement will suddenly make GB a gold medal team. Time will tell…..3 points

Good decision. I had a little spat with him a few months back & his responses became completely illogical.3 points

I'm all for trying new things but no into the drone either, certainly not the way they're using it from behind. Makes me feel seasick watching it. Never seen any worthwhile footage from helmet/ bike cam either3 points

Someone needs to create a thread just so you two can argue on it, and save us all having to read it. It's relentless, and on multiple threads - both of you have to have the last word. It's like two kids (which I'm sure neither of you are, so should know better) fighting over the last sweet. GIVE IT A REST.3 points

I think he would. There wasn’t that much competition. It’s all about opinions.3 points

Would that be the same Worrall who is 35th in the league with a 6.00 average, whilst Ellis is 3rd with 10.00?3 points

Spot on. The OTTness is probably no surprise when you see some of the people posting it. All things considered I thought Ellis and Brennan were the correct choices from the squad, whoever you bring in now is unlikely to do any better and Ellis has now had a meeting on the track, might be better to keep him in. I'd be sticking one of the big guns at reserve though.3 points

Why can’t they just let the Wrocław track staff get on with it instead of Phil Morris sticking his oar in? I think the staff there probably know what they are doing2 points

Got to agree, the drone coverage is awful during a race. By all means show a different angle in the replay after a race, but during the race it doesn't add to coverage it takes away from it.2 points

BSN has used a drone once, at Redcar for a track flyover very much like like Discovery do which was done before the meeting. But you're not allowed to fly a drone at a British meeting whilst it's running, so fear not!2 points

No way on earth Harris would be doing what Bewley etc were doing!!! He would be so far off the pace!! Also wouldnt of won heat 1 as it required a good gate2 points

The argument about who should be picked for the GB team seems to centre around who was willing to take part (now or in the past) and the fact that this competition is "in Poland". I can't speak to the first factor so I'll stick to the squad that 's been announced. Tai, in interview, indicated how different the Wroclaw track is from the other tracks in Poland. I was dismayed to see immediately after this interview, a track as slick as a badger's bum. But (no pun) after extensive work after heat 4 and later, the track started to improve. In particular, those skilled at the outside run e.g. Dan, managed to make outside runs to come from behind. Seeing this, in the second half of the meeting, I was thinking how valuable Bomber would have been at reserve.2 points

Maybe they could all wear different costumes,, and after they have a race, the crowd could all shout, take it off, take it off, take it off,, and the slowly take off their helmet and reveal who they are,,, and then the crowd can sigh in disappointment,,, as no one really knows who they are.2 points

Yep Steve Found out as I got to London so shortly I'm returning home on the 10am back to Nottingham. Only cost £12. Getting money back on b&b Sorted. Thanks for thinking about me and me travels coz I've only got liddle legs2 points

Thought Ellis did well in the two he scored points in but as soon as the track changed a little and he was off 2/3 he didn’t look like quick enough to challenge. Thats where the managers should have given Brennan a run for me, he did very well to come in so late and make an impact.2 points

At least the Morris/guest situation should become clearer by the new date with his SCB hearing scheduled for tomorrow (unless it's rained off)! Incidentally the new averages for August show Morris back in the Brummies 1-7. (and Starke dropping to reserve?!)!!2 points
