I agree and in league racing each rider should be limited to one mechanic and get the rest of the hangers on out of the pits and that includes riders not riding, girlfriends, and any other hanger on and there are many4 points

Not really interested in what goes on in the GPs but league racing is getting too bloated for its own good, you only need one mechanic per rider, everyone else can watch from the terraces, British speedway long time problem is the sport being run by the riders for the riders and look where we are2 points

The best way for Panthers fans to say FU to Buster is by temporarily cheering on / supporting Ipswich (Permanently if we never come back) while we're not operating as a club. Fans very rarely walk away from the Sport because it's a Sport fans hold close to their hearts and it's a Sport they truly love hence the reason why fans always end up attending another local track regularly if their club closes, Swindon fans at Oxford as a recent example and you'll see Wolves fans flocking down to Birmingham on a regular basis this season. If any Panthers fan is desperate to see some live Speedway then they should head down to Foxhall and help Chris Louis and co. out financially on their gate instead of falling for Buster's blatant plan of trying to lure Panthers down to the AFA and help his beloved KL out with their declining attendances by signing as many Panthers riders as possible while he assists his AEPG buddies in bulldozing the Showground. Ipswich will be King's Lynn's biggest local rivals now so that's another reason to stick two fingers up in Buster's face. As far as I'm concerned any Panthers fan who attends a meeting at the AFA for the foreseeable future is not only gullible for falling into the trap set by Buster but they're also part of the problem for letting Buster get away with his actions by continuing to line his pockets with their hard earned cash.2 points

Can confirm; defo not easy, much more difficult getting the technique right than you would imagine, a speedway bike is much, much more tham 'just a 500cc motorcycle without gears or brakes', needs to be tamed bit like riding a wild beast i.e. wild stallion or cheetah - not necessarily the Oxford version. Kudos to all those who can, and do....1 point

Doyle is one rider who gives his all for his league racing which is why he has been top Aussie for many a season. There isn’t another Aussie in league racing that is as committed to UK racing or as good at league level. Holder (Jack) and Fricke will probably finish with a lower 2024 average again.1 point

As it was a private hire it was by invitation only , and it appears non were invited, I’m sure they’ll get plenty of track time on their own.1 point

But they are allowed a full team of mechanics , a masseur and a mentor in a GP so what’s the difference ? Most club riders have two ‘assistants ‘ in their pit, are you going to tell Gary Havelock he can’t be a ‘mentor’ to Ben Trigger at Redcar?, or can’t be in the pits when a Poole is visiting ? You going to tell Glasgow they can’t have their full entourage of 12 hanging about in the pits ? Its in the rule book as to who should be in a pit area and it’s down to the club to enforce it, but every club is different…..it’s British speedway !1 point

Absolutely this - they should pay to get in like anyone else. Frankly, they should consider themselves lucky that they get to watch their partners at work. Mine can't get near my workplace.1 point

My view to this day and has been since was first mentioned, it’s not going to bring 1 person through the turnstiles so what’s the point1 point

Probably the closest the league has looked in some time, any of 6 clubs can make the top 4, with possibly only Ipswich 99% certain to make it?1 point

He'll get his comeuppance one day. I feel the same way and I was going to hate on KL for the foreseeable future but looking at the bigger picture and having had time to calm down, I don't have a problem with the KL fans, their riders or Rob Lyon so I don't want to wish bad luck on them. They're just employees and supporters at the end of the day who haven't done anything wrong. My problem is with Buster and Buster only.1 point

Great news Patrick Hansen back on a bike today practising after his horrendous injuries last season.1 point

Be more prudent to make sure only those who have to be in the pits are there and stop having all the hangers on who do nothing but get in the way, especially when something kicks off.1 point

Keep dreaming, they can’t even act professionaly themselves and haven't attracted a major sponsor to the sport for years . Besides some riders have a different ‘spanner man ‘ every meeting so a very large wardrobe would be required.1 point

2?? This was only two seasons ago. Has Doyle ever scored 2 anywhere let alone a play off final? That’s why I always laugh at those predicting Holder will overtake Doyle here in the UK anytime soon. The Peterborough lad predicted Bewley would average more than Doyle last year and even bet money on it before he was left with egg on his face. I mean it’s gonna happen in time, there’s a big gap in ages, but some people seem desperate to see Doyle’s demise for some reason and it just ain’t happening anytime soon. I’ll take another bet with anyone that Doyle will finish top of the Aussie averages this coming season here in the UK. Any takers?1 point

Yep only Lambert as a like for like replacement, not a premier league select like what won last season1 point

Exactly right, Holder will put 100% into the gp's and Poland, Doyle will put in 100% everywhere.1 point

Agreed, at world level I think Jack Holder will outshine Doyley by quite a way… in the UK however I still think Doyley will be the top Aussie1 point

I think upping averages (for all riders) is irrelevant....by that, I mean, that realistically, all of B'ham's riders could up their average and yet they will/most probably, still finish bottom!? Simply because their so-called TOP 2 are not in the same league as other teams! I personally don't think that all riders need to 'improve' to win the League!1 point
-
Quite possible at world level, however in the UK I still expect Doyle to be the best Aussie. On the other hand I don’t think Doyle was happen with his set up last year & goes in to 2024 with a new set up & big backing on an individual level from Guy Nicholls1 point

surely you dont really believe your own comment pay a 2nd string or 3rd heat leader more than your no1 and your asking for trouble pay any rider way more than others and they will revolt history proves that1 point

You lot can say what you want but we all know that Chapman and co shafted us..and now they have rubbed our noses in it by poaching all our ex riders, manager (never liked him anyway) and other parts of our once great track. I am done with Speedway and I hope Kings Lynn fail badly.0 points
