He pulls out so frequently it makes you wonder how he became a Father š4 points

If they don't want to run the meeting they should forfeit the points... season after season the rest of the sport has to bend over backwards to accommodate King's Lynn and their dodgy call offs.3 points

How is he not???? Canāt blame weather for this one. And he has no rain all day and nice warm windy weather tomorrow. Weāve had the same weather as Lynn. Letās see if we get the meeting on3 points

Heās been pulling these kind of stunts for years with dodgy call offs heās part of the problem with British speedway.3 points

Very true The new Coventry City football club owner is quoted as saying every championship club loses £10-£15 millions a year. Not really viable is it . lets accentuate the positives FFS. Speedway and stock cars will work at Brandon it was never empty, the average crowd in 2016 for stocks and speedway was just over 2000 as reported in the planning appeal. All the best for the Dons as well, this new venue sounds very suitable . Up the Bees and Dons3 points

Not at all. Drop Zagars gtee by 50 quid a meeting and that would pay for a cleaner to clean a few areas. Not rocket science.3 points

If they could get a long lease from the landlord then they would spend more on the track. They would like to widen the track onto the old dog track, but when your landlord won't give you more than 1 year at a time it would be financial suicide to do so.3 points

Only days ago King's Lynn & Klindt himself said he was riding at Leicester. One thing we should have all learnt over the last decade is to never believe anything King's Lynn Speedway reports.3 points

I make no secret of the fact that I know, or knew in some sad cases, the rugby officials at Derwent Park. And after the history season in 2018 Andrew began making noises about opening Comets at Northside. His first job became the removal of Derwent Park shale, off to the new track. And apparently (?) Andrew dug too deep into the shale and ruined the machinery blade he had hired - costing him approx. £50.000 (I'm only going by what I was told then). By the way to this day you can still see the deep gouges, into the concrete base, on both bends at DP. The work though carried on successfully -thank goodness. I don't know Andrew's line of work but the aforementioned drama must have tested his resolve and I say well done marra for sticking with it. Hopefully the bikes will also be shifting shale again soon at Northside.3 points

Nothing to do with no cook whoās riding today. And no kvech of course3 points

He hasn't he's been getting better and better over the last 3 seasons. He's was world class level last year, I'd say he's been at this level for the last 18 months.3 points

That's a completely different point. Saying they won't get their money back is completely different to saying they don't have the money in the first place. It's also completely different to saying it won't cover day to day running costs. Many, many sports operations are not profitable yet many, many investors are prepared to invest in them. Why you continue to peddle such negativity, especially in the face of proof to the contrary is a mystery3 points

Not good enough, signed for Plymouth first, you either ride here or you donāt, sick to death of crap like this, taking the pish out of British speedway, things have to change3 points

Save your money, don't go to belle vue, stay in Birmingham and support the future riders.2 points

Your comments just show you know nothing of this particular matter. 1. There isnāt a āCoventryā but a body of folk fighting the cause to keep the current site āas isā 2. There is a separate group of folk who the first group are working with/alongside who have absolutely no problem with funding the development (not restoration) of a multi sports complex at Brandon. 3. A miracle is not required. Only the removal of Brandon Estates intransigence. Then the work can and will begin of the development2 points

Only Premiership line-up King's Lynn could've had without having to book a Championship rider to guest who doesn't have a Premiership team place. 1. Iversen 2. R/R 3. Kemp (G) 4. Lawson 5. Harris 6. Klindt 7. Scott (RS) I wouldn't bother running either and I'd gladly take all of the backlash for it if I was in Buster's position.2 points

Yeah. We know that. Itās also rained most of the day here. And tonight it will be wet. but thatās a day before. Us and you have good perfect race day weather tomorrow. Your not telling me they canāt sort the track out tomorrow2 points

That's the speedways own fault, the stadium was up for grabs a few years back they chose to go for the easier cheaper option and let Clarke Osborne take the stadium , do the required work then rent from him, no good whinging now,fact.2 points

Bit of rain today but mostly dry thereafter would have made perfect conditions. Obvious to everyone it's an injury rain off... would have potentially been bans for jan and Ben if they didn't ride... Best all round for us. No different to early ipswich call off a few weeks back2 points

He did have a very serious family emergency⦠then flew hundreds of miles away to Poland for the GP less than 12 hours later1 point

Why are 2 guests needed? Kvech rode fine last night and nearly made GP final. Ben Cook rode in Poland today and scored 12.1 point

Another one living in a fantasy world. Football is awash with huge television deals and corporate bigwigs. Speedway does not have that luxury. Coventry have not got got the money to fund restoring the stadium and no prospect of making any money at all even if a miracle happened. Likewise, Wimbledon have not got the money to secure a site, or prospect of turning a profit even if a miracle happened their either. Coventry and Wimbledon are finished. Accept it and move on with your life, cos they ain't coming back.1 point

Smederna-VƤstervik on Tuesday and VƤstervik-Smederna on Wednesday will be really cracking meetings (i hope) with hopefully two Smederna victories. Just Smederna's lineup and that looks like a really good team.1 point

They were always going to use the rain though, as soon as it started falling they obviously knew they were in luck šš» there is no way in hell they couldnāt get that meeting on⦠I think not having Ben and Jan fully fit or at all was a bit (a lot) of a factor1 point

MEETING OFF TOMORROW āļø Thank god for that as we were going to be without Jan and Ben1 point

The Companies House documentation is as conclusive as it can be I fear. I would not post anything that did not come from a reliable source but i have been told by someone well known in Midlands Speedway circles for many years that on Friday morning the BSPL were close to pulling the plug and making riders available for moves. At the 11th hour Workington were able to give enough positive information as to give the BSPL confidence to extend the suspension for a further 7 days. I think it's clear though that new limit may be the final time stamp for something to have happened to resolve the impasse. My understanding is that only a very sizable payment to HMRC; who are the main Creditors seeking to get renumeration here ; and who have massive clout, will ensure recommencement of activity.1 point

fully agree but the team is built to same points limit as all others poole and glasgow both can take pick of best riders on there average its a shame the teams are not built around wages rather than points but aslong as some teams can offer better deals they will always look better option for the riders1 point

Can someone check that the kelvin Tatum commentating is the same kelvin Tatum that used to ride ? Because he says some things like he has never been to speedway before1 point

You;ve hit the nail on the head. The days when the bike and leathers were 2nd hand have long gone, but also young riders of today are safe in the knowledge that thier team spots are safe due to the lake of riders. Back in the day, if you had a couple of bad meetings, there was always another rider the club would give a go. btw, You talk about scruffy oiks. A certain young lad who went on to be one of the best. Started out with an old weslake Tatty pair of 2nd hand leather. He would have been laughed at by all these youngster today with the big vans and 3 bikes and mechanics to boot! His name was Joe Screen!!1 point
