You are Clark Osbourne, and I claim my 5 pounds. (one for the youngsters there). Remember the idiots who said Workington would never be back? Remember the fools who thought Belle Vue's NSS could never be built? Remember the dumb-dumbs who thought Oxford would never re-open. Speedway tracks may come and go, but there will always be nobheads like the above.7 points

MAX BROADHURST TAKES THE HONOURS AT THE ALAN GRAHAME MEMORIAL The 2025 Midland Development League came to a close for 2025 at Birmingham with the Alan Grahame Memorial individual with 12 riders contesting it over 9 heats and a final. Birmingham Buffaloes Max Broadhurst took the honours winning all his three qualifying races then remaining unbeaten with success in the final ahead of Ryan Ashcroft and Dylan Huthwaite whilst Eli Meadows took a tumble to end his hopes of remaining unbeaten on the night. With 16 heats in total with 6 junior 125cc demos and a short delay after one of them Cody Smith crashed just before the finish line in his first ride , the pits staff did a first class and efficient job of completing this in 52 minutes !! Cody ended up at hospital with two black eyes, sore wrist and concussion unfortunately. It was a fitting tribute to Alan Grahame who always had time to help the young riders. Heat scorers : Max Broadhurst 9, Eli Meadows 9, Ryan Ashcroft 7, Dylan Huthwaite 6, Harrison Rogers 6, Joe Crewe 5, Jacob Fellows 5, Jack Crewe 3, Bailey Fellows 1, Will Boraston 1, Austin Riches 1, Jake Breeze 1. Final : Max Broadhurst , Ryan Ashcroft, Dylan Huthwaite, Eli Meadows (fell)3 points

Riders get criticized in Poole threads for not coming round and acknowledging the fans. Now here we are having a pop at Cairns for a celebrating a heat advantage with Tobias. Can't win.3 points

. there is no picking FFS, how many times do people need telling 1st v 4th 2nd v 3rd although they were the rules last year also3 points

I reckon the best pass Monday night was Heat 5, when Kurtz drove off the inside of bend 4 to pass both Pickering and Morris. Not close-your-eyes-wall-of-death bravery, but well-calculated intelligent riding.3 points

for the best interest of british speedway, belle vue will face sheffield and ipswich leicester, to leave a belle vue and leicester final again with belle vue winning easily again, all in the best interest of british speedway3 points

Yeah, that's really sad. The thought of "finally it's over" should never be in your mind as a speedway fan / rider / promoter.2 points

Do they have to pick a play-off team? Imagine Ipswich could pick Birmingham. Leicester pick Oxford. Sheffield pick King's Lynn. Belle Vue seeded to the semi finals. Only the top 4 teams would know they're in the play-offs for sure, so there would still be something to race for. I was joking when I started writing this, but with Speedway you just never know!2 points

To my knowledge trackmen listen to everyone & take their advice on board.... ...Then produce the same track they prepare every other week!!2 points

Does anyone know if the top team picks who they want to race against in this seasons play offs? Anyone?2 points

The super heat and aggregate bonus point should be removed in my opinion… a draw should be a draw, 1 point each 👍🏻 match win - 2 points match draw - 1 point each team match loss - 0 points Simple but effective and much easier to understand 😂1 point

Each match has two points riding on it... Apart from a superheat match... Where there is three... And is it four points available if the 2nd leg ends in a draw as well as the first leg?. ie A superheat for the draw on the night, and a super heat for the aggregate... I have no idea, and cannot be arsed checking, but that would mean two matches scoring seven points, and not five...1 point

Rasmus Karlsson is the Swedish U21 champion in 2025. Casper Henriksson 2nd and Erik Persson third.1 point

Yep, a nice over take from cairns on an experienced rider and he rightly gives the big crowd something to cheer, and there’s someone on here calling a 16yr old kid a clown. Comical1 point

Thought of another flaw with the superheat scoring. Team A vs Team B has 2 draws. Team A at home wins the superheat 7-2. Team B at home (in the second leg) wins the superheat 5-4. So team B gets the bonus point despite scoring less in their superheat win.1 point

It's a shame that there's a feeling they're being put out of their misery, rather than going out with a bang. They definitely deserved the latter.1 point

And they had to move quickly when he became available before he got snapped up elsewhere and then left us in a vulnerable position at number 7.1 point

Please no one tell him about Workington - the second-best track in the country. It's funnier with the added ignorance.1 point

100% won’t be anything else but 1st vs 4th and 2nd vs 3rd. Phil Morris knows it was a poor decision and said it wouldn’t happen again. What is interesting is the fact nobody really knows where each other will finish, and all face each other still. My money is on a late charge from Birmingham and they take it all 😁1 point

Whatever else may be said about the Birmingham promotion, it can't be denied that they have given development riders opportunities. Well done to them for that. It's a shame more people don't stay on to watch them or have attended the NDT matches1 point

Should be a routine three points but then again, I thought we’d comfortably overturn a six point deficit to dump Lynn out of the Cup and that never happened. 46-44 will do.1 point

You are very strange Speedway has always had big and small tracks that’s the essence of the sport Of course your track is great but not every track can be like that can it The fact is at Belle Vue you have the best two riders in the league (arguably) These two riders go well everywhere and I’ve seen Bewley come from the back at Foxhall many times including one sensational race with Emil … I spoke to Bewley a couple of times and he loves riding Foxhall and Kurtz also doesn’t mind it … this is called class and talent Unfortunately the rest of your team (unless Lidsey traps) can only ride the home track and are vulnerable away …. This is how speedway is now all about fast engines and the skill set isn’t required as much If the rest of your team attack away tracks like the top 2 then you would do much better1 point

A much better performance from the Brummies but Chris Adams said that he felt they didn't deserve to lose, what planet is he on ? the Brummies were at home against a team that they beat just over a month ago, why did they not deserve to lose according to him because they lost Ht 14, what about the other 14 Hts that they had a chance of winning ? it is such a sad way for the Brummies to go out on and we have just one more meeting for West Midland Speedway before we lose our last remaining Team.1 point

Janowski is the wild-card. What a useless selection. Hopefully Trump and Putin's meeting on Friday ends in a positive outcome, and we can see Artem back where he belongs.1 point

The crazy thing is.... Oxford is a perfectly good use case to prove what he says is wrong. Yet he keeps saying the opposite. Absolutely no reason why a Swindon return shouldn't be just as successful as Oxford's.1 point

Now we need riders blindfolded with hessian sacks on their heads, with buxom milk maids in pigtail wigs, stood on each corner shouting "Left! Left! Left!" when they ride past.. Could really catch on this.... And, more importantly... Add some much needed credibility to the operating model!!!....1 point

Regardless of who was winning or losing the deciding race, to allow anyone at all to stand inside the exclusion zone while a race continued is inexplicable. As there has been considerable photographic evidence of this (and, l presume, video coverage) the SCB will have to take action. Not regarding the end result, but because of the blatant disregard of the H&S aspect. Heads must roll.1 point
