I'm fed up with people picking on Tatum. He does a good job and is enjoyable to listen to, get off his back!9 points

Ace rode brilliant on the night and has ben the last few weeks. To get his confidence back up to the level it is has been very much a work in progress type of situation. Its still on going but we are certainly getting there. Jody had passed Nagel in Heat 6 on the line and then been all over the back of Dan Thompson in heat 9. I did deliberate over the change in heat 12 but decided in my mind that Jody was very capable of beating Perry or Hodder and deserved another go at Thompson. I agree Ace deserved more rides but I didn't feel anyone warranted being taken out of a ride. Tate led heat 14 with Ace until a mistake out of bend 4 saw him nearly run into the back of Ace and ultimately cost him 3rd place when Hodder past him. If that hadn't happened Im pretty sure they would have gotten the 3-3 that looked on the cards. Hindsight is a wonderful thing and afterwards its easy to say I should have done this or should have done that, however its a big balancing act about juggling with riders confidence while getting what I feel is the best results for the team. Hope that answers your questions Gav7 points

But as has been pointed out every time you mention it, other people have experienced exactly the same at other tracks. It's not just a Sheffield thing - every team has dick heads !!5 points

Whoever wins this, what a cracking meeting5 points

Kemp MOTM so far for me tonight, Has shown a very strong mentality after the Heat 2 disaster.5 points

Congrats Leicester. Despite some nonsense posts on here, both legs of speedway were excellent.4 points

Well done Leicester, good effort Sheffield, real winner again the greatest sport on the planet4 points

Whatever happens in heat 15, well done Sheffield for a great performance against the odds.4 points

Fricke never looked quick enough there, great ride from Holder. Really good meeting so far, glad I left the curtains/blinds open!4 points

Fair play to Jack great ride now he can raise the no 1 finger!4 points

Such a shame Glasgow won’t allow a feed, I’m sure many many Poole fans would buy it making the club some decent money.4 points

Douglas chucked the bike down and the ref awards all 4 back. On a side note, I thought the racing tonight was very good. We often hear how Polish tracks are so much entertaining than British tracks, but tonight's play-off meeting was better than anything I have seen at Wroclaw and Torun recently. Leicester's race track has an unfair reputation.3 points

In Max we trust... Now the same again please Lions... Let's get the second most slapped arse manager in the league as pissed off...3 points

I am not a J.Holder fan,but you have to admit he was good to watch over the two legs no matter how much you dislike him.3 points

Tatum all day long. Abbie never knew speedway existed until she was given the job to work on it. Tatum raced speedway and has commentated on it for the last 20 years and is still unable to do the maths or say any other phrase than the 10-12 he has in his back pocket. Like it or not he is absolutely holding back the sport.. on the television anyway.3 points

The purists won’t like this but this is why we have the playoffs - great meeting / effort from both sides heat 15 it’s all on this!3 points

Genius from Stead there,he knew Janowski was due a good one😉3 points

They have cameras on the bikes and a drone but it never occurred to anyone to put a camera on the start line and what’s happened to the transponders ?3 points
-
Take a bow Drew Kemp. Massive ride that was needed from him as Leicester couldn't afford Drew's head to drop considering Joe Thompson doesn't look like scoring a point.3 points

There could be with another 5-0 Try to keep up3 points

This should be a very comfortable aggregate victory for Leicester but its Play Off speedway so you never know. An Ippo v Leic final has the potential to be very close indeed.3 points

The floodlights, the walkers crisps factory and now the parking attendant!2 points

I know Hawkins is miserable not denying it as I’m not blinkered about my own team Sheffield manager and fans are on a whole new level though And if we lose the final I will be on here congratulating Leicester who in my opinion have the best manager in the sport and should be England boss2 points

Worst track in the country imo, Every club may have the odd fan who likes to give foul mouthed abuse but Sheffield are a different breed on that front. The correct final and a tougher opponent for Ipswich imo but at least Leicester would be graceful in victory or defeat.2 points

Great ride from Fricke and well done to Lions. But what was Douglas doing 3rd was good enough even if Holder passed Fricke should have just kept Josh behind him instead of racing Holder!!!2 points

Awful track awful fans awful manager …. Two good sides in the final2 points

Get in Max Fricke. We don't have to watch 15 spread out Heats of follow the leader around the wall of death in the Final.2 points

credit to both teams tonight, very enjoyable meeting! Fricke the saviour for the Lions, what a guy! The 5-0 on Thursday was the catalyst for Sheffield, ouch!2 points

100%... Have Ipswich ever thought of doing it? 😁2 points

Jack could ride around the track with his pointy finger in the air...😁2 points

Been a great meeting and proof you don’t need a big fast track for a good meeting2 points

Hard to call who’s worse him or Abbie, she just laughs and giggles through interviews asking utter daft questions, she’s not a clue.2 points

I’ll be honest, I thought the tie would be over by about heat 5, fair pla to the tigers however hear 15 turns out2 points

Kelvins inability to do basic Arithmetic is beyond embarrassing. A 4-2 “won’t be enough”2 points

Looking forward to this one later. Will be rooting for the Lions tonight. Not a fan of the Holders.2 points

If reports he got booed at Sheffield are correct think he wont need much firing up 😉 Sheffield are capable of springing a good result away as we have seen this season a couple of times, But with Fricke who has been brilliant this season, Masters and Douglas also going well its a difficult task, Hopefully Becker picks up his form for the Lions, that was my one doubt with the Lions as R/R worked so well. Having said all that im going for a comfortable home win.2 points
-
Will you be keeping your curtains closed for this one? 😁2 points
-
Przyjemski's average is false as has all the junior races. Too soon for him. Becker would be a nonsence!!!! Get Drabik in if anyone from the Ekstraliga with no GP experience. Cerniak is not good enough and found it tough since put into the main team.2 points

All Sheffield need to do is gate, trouble is none of them can. Yet another Beaumont Park borefest looms...........2 points

Taking half a meeting to adapt to track conditions isnt acceptable at the business end of the season. Did the Glasgow riders mis-judge the track walk, did they ask for it to be ultra slick, did they even know what they were getting beforehand? Whatever it was it can't happen again, we have some hefty points deficits to claw back in our next two home meetings. Its all very well bringing in Andy Meredith to boost our GP or SGP2 chances next season but if it is affecting our core product its a no for me. Lets prep the track to suit our riders wherever possible, its brings the best out in them and allows the racers to shine.2 points
