I'm fed up with people picking on Tatum. He does a good job and is enjoyable to listen to, get off his back!

Ace rode brilliant on the night and has ben the last few weeks. To get his confidence back up to the level it is has been very much a work in progress type of situation. Its still on going but we are certainly getting there. Jody had passed Nagel in Heat 6 on the line and then been all over the back of Dan Thompson in heat 9. I did deliberate over the change in heat 12 but decided in my mind that Jody was very capable of beating Perry or Hodder and deserved another go at Thompson. I agree Ace deserved more rides but I didn't feel anyone warranted being taken out of a ride. Tate led heat 14 with Ace until a mistake out of bend 4 saw him nearly run into the back of Ace and ultimately cost him 3rd place when Hodder past him. If that hadn't happened Im pretty sure they would have gotten the 3-3 that looked on the cards. Hindsight is a wonderful thing and afterwards its easy to say I should have done this or should have done that, however its a big balancing act about juggling with riders confidence while getting what I feel is the best results for the team. But as has been pointed out every time you mention it, other people have experienced exactly the same at other tracks. It's not just a Sheffield thing - every team has dick heads !!

Fricke never looked quick enough there, great ride from Holder. Really good meeting so far, glad I left the curtains/blinds open!

Douglas chucked the bike down and the ref awards all 4 back. On a side note, I thought the racing tonight was very good. We often hear how Polish tracks are so much entertaining than British tracks, but tonight's play-off meeting was better than anything I have seen at Wroclaw and Torun recently. Leicester's race track has an unfair reputation.

Tatum all day long. Abbie never knew speedway existed until she was given the job to work on it. Tatum raced speedway and has commentated on it for the last 20 years and is still unable to do the maths or say any other phrase than the 10-12 he has in his back pocket. Like it or not he is absolutely holding back the sport.. on the television anyway.

The purists won’t like this but this is why we have the playoffs - great meeting / effort from both sides heat 15 it’s all on this!

They have cameras on the bikes and a drone but it never occurred to anyone to put a camera on the start line and what’s happened to the transponders ?

This should be a very comfortable aggregate victory for Leicester but its Play Off speedway so you never know. An Ippo v Leic final has the potential to be very close indeed.

Not that long i take it. Seem to remember quite well that the mob from the end of the M69 with Olsen & Co getting abused on a regular basis at BBR. Even now our lovely neighbour sometimes wears an old Cov Bees Jacket and its perfectly natural just to boo when we see him wearing it . Nothing wrong with a bit of rivalry.

Looking forward to the final. Been going Leicester for donkeys and to be fair we never abuse any riders or other sets of supporters. I think the fans are just grateful to see speedway back at Leicester and we're a good nowadays..

I know Hawkins is miserable not denying it as I’m not blinkered about my own team Sheffield manager and fans are on a whole new level though And if we lose the final I will be on here congratulating Leicester who in my opinion have the best manager in the sport and should be England boss

credit to both teams tonight, very enjoyable meeting! Fricke the saviour for the Lions, what a guy! The 5-0 on Thursday was the catalyst for Sheffield, ouch!

If reports he got booed at Sheffield are correct think he wont need much firing up 😉 Sheffield are capable of springing a good result away as we have seen this season a couple of times, But with Fricke who has been brilliant this season, Masters and Douglas also going well its a difficult task, Hopefully Becker picks up his form for the Lions, that was my one doubt with the Lions as R/R worked so well. Having said all that im going for a comfortable home win.
