7 day ban for Lawson if anyone is interested!

As with everything there will be a discretionary element for the powers that be - i remember Rohan Tungate and Jason Doyle missing flights back from Poland a couple of seasons ago and as a result missing league meetings here in the UK - Tungate got a ban and JD didn't as relevant facts were taken into account at the time!

Yes I kind of agree with this, however some people either don't think properly in a 'crisis' or don't often think that certain methods / reporting of obligations should be followed. As an employer I've had all manner of staff over the years fail to inform their employer / me of work availability for a range of things some frivolous some serious. Even when experiencing the most serious of problems I have always felt it proper to ensure my employers knew the situation as soon as possible and not just before I am due to get into work. Regardless of last night I am 100% sure no Lawson for 2027 at Foxhall which is a shame as he has been a very consistent rider over the years and when he was at Arena he was a bit of a hero.

To be fair the top division has always been a bit like that - in the great days of the 80s you had Cradley, Coventry Wolves in the midlands and then Reading Oxford and Swindon along the M4 etc so that was 6 of the what 12 teams in the top division. There was a northern band that comprised Bradford Sheffield and BV! and maybe an EA band that was Ipswich and Kings Lynn. The most northerly based top tier team I can recall was Berwick when Terry Lindon took them over and we all know what happened there.

As a fan I've been to Foxhall 4 times now in 2026 and i have only seen 2 sides - my next visit is Aug 20th when It's Leicester which means I will still have only seen 2 sides! Due to holidays etc its likely to be my last visit for 2026! in any other sport I would have expected to see 5 different sides.

I'd be adding Adam to the 2027 Ipswich riders list!! I knew he would be good as he rides Foxhall well and he was very on it tonight - the best race of the night was heat 11 Tobi tried everything and almost got past a couple of times but it nice to see Adam come round for a well received lap of honour after his heat 15 win. I'd be happy to see you back at Foxhall in 2027!!

Regardless (i don't disagree) but Lawson won't be at Ipswich in 2027 not so sure about the next match!

I enjoyed this meeting the R/R for Lawson made a win much less certain pre meeting - Witches started really well but Northampton made back ground in the 2nd half - mainly due to Scotts injury and the fact that Ellis was so damn good tonight. Track seemed better and the was some decent races - the best race actually had no passing but was when Tobi tried everything he could (and got near too on more than one occasion) to pass Adam in heat 11. Nice to see Tom much more with it he had a couple of decent rides and was mixing it much more. I hope Scott is ok he has been riding well of late.

Intriguing no Lawson - Track seems much better this week!

One of the reasons you did very well in the 47-43 was that Adams used his reserve switches well and Thompson scored about 12 or something - you need Klindt and Ellis to have a good night now! (Both entirely possible)

That's a shame for him and both (all) his clubs - been having a good season!

oh that weakens the Foxes for sure - he was decent last time at Foxhall - will be there and now expect a home win and the witches to retake 4th spot from the Stars!

Riders can be so inconsistent at times Etheridge had a stunner at the weekend for Berwick at Workington but failed to score here!

Witches need to win and Lynn dumped them out of the playoff spots last night so no messing big strong performances needed. Hopefully TomB will feel a less pressured at 4 - I just hope that Danny and Scott as both have been very effective of late at home in their respective 2 and 4 slots. Thomson will be key for The Foxes. Nice to see Adam back but I hope he doesn't have a good night!

To be fair assuming it would be Leicester is a reasonable shout! 😄 I get to see the Foxes again - it was 47-43 last time i reckon the Witches might get a few more on thurs but we will see if the recent changes have strengthened or weakened the Foxes!

And mine - dropping Batch when he is seemingly in good form and at reserve doesn’t seem a great choice to make - but I suppose the promotion are damned if they do and Damned if they don’t! Can only assume that he might be out for a bit and they want to ring the changes. Ellis - I would have been happy to see him at Ipswich this year - he will probably be better than Zagar.

Having not seen the clip I was fearing the worst but having seen it on the BSN facebook page just now and it came across to me as just a racing incident.

Not seen it so can't and won't comment - would still expect a home win for this.

Whilst I think Northampton are out of it the battle for the 4th spot will i think be interesting - The Aces and Leicester are i feel nailed on and if Sheffield keep winning at home they will probably be through leaving the Witches and the Star to fight it out for spot 4 - so the Stars need to win well tomorrow!

That’s good news! The club seem quite active on social media and the Sheffield star seem to put a few bit out as well so hopefully all this will help bring a few more in - of course massive home wins with processional racing won’t help that - need a 47-43 last heat decider against the aces with Kurtz being slung out for a controversial exclusion to get everyone talking !

Lets hope so but sometimes we have to be realistic as the saying goes Rome wasn't built in a day and we have to judge IMHO the new promotion come Winter 2027! (Assuming we get a 2027!)
