There are number One riders out there that can guest, but Plymouth choose to use lesser riders at number one, that to me is "cheating the public". Perthaps I'm "constantly preaching negativity" on the Forum because the sport is going down the pan and clubs are consistently allowing it to happen, rather than try to do something about it. As for the "sport will soon be gone" see above.

Pirates No.1 Richard Lawson completed a 15-point maximum in Heat 15 as the leaders maintained their unbeaten home record in the league, having been given a tough test by the Cheetahs. Just make the rule that heat 15 is between the top 2 scorers on the night, then there is no arguments.

Obviously. We at Newcastle tried to predict if a change was likely to happen and be near the team managers before the riders were sent out so they could tell us. Also we would look at the riders going out to make sure no changes had been made without our knowledge.

Don't know if the ruling has changed, but certainly upto and including 2022 the Pits Marshal could do it as well.

According to the BSPL website (2025 averages): Starke: Home 4.90 - Away 4.90 - Overall 4.73 Foord: Home 5.60 - Away 3.50 - Overall 4.87. GSA's: Starke 4.00 - Foord 3.65.

The club have already stated that they will bring everyone up to date when they "are allowed to do so", which I presume means that someone, somewhere has put a block on them saying what the actual situation is.

If it is financial (I'm NOT saying it is) then surely it's best for BSPL/Workington Speedway to come out and say it, then people might be able to help financially to clear the problems?? Once again speedway doesn't help itself with all this "cloak and daggers" type of announcements. Whatever the problem(s?) is/are, I hope it can be sorted and I will still get my visit to Northside in the future.

That would be an NDL 2.00 rider, then. Unless they've changed the rules, if you sack a rider you can't use guests of similar ability (unless the sacked rider is also a 2.00 rider in the NDL of course!), you can only do that if the rider is "withholding his services".
