  1. On the other hand it's about 95% of non British riders. A big net to cast.
  2. Shame they couldn't have bunched these fixtures closer together.
  3. If the Emil deal has fell through, it was always going to be a tough one to get over the line with all the red tape, although once it was discovered he couldn't play golf that was it!
  4. So the Emil rumour continues, is this something that is seriously being looked at or is it just rumours? Id it doesn't come off there is a go rider who needs to do something different in my opinion as he has gone of the boil over the past couple of seasons...... Tai?
  5. Your probably right about the weather & prep. The issue seems to be that riders like Heeps & King who are both very experienced & talented riders seem to be lacking one vital piece of track craft & that is to ride different lines when their preferred line isn't working. They seem incapable of being able too. Good old Morten Risager would have been almost unbeatable at Foxhall last season with his stuck to the white line style. Again someone else who was hugely talented but stuck to one line.
  6. He'll been fine, I did something very similar in a snowboard accident several years ago.. I had 4 nights in an Austrian hospital & left with a brace after 8 weeks I was back to almost normal & able to get back on the board after 3 months.
  7. If you listen carefully you can hear that pin dropping......the silence is concerning!
  8. It's like the good old days, when Pavitt was about promised a title winning side, rumours of Joe Screen signing only to find we had Franz Leitner. Although to be fair still time for Louis to pull the rabbit out of the hat......or Richie to pull of a blinder while sat in the 19th hole.
  9. Don't panic the last two are going to be Jakub Miśkowiak & either Tai or R Lambert with their nice discounts on their averages. Guy's got the cheque book out!
  10. Buster doesn't own the land. However why would you buy Peterborough speedway without having a site secured to develop a new stadium when you lose your current home? That would seem like good business sense to me.
  11. Perhaps part of the agreement of letter Lambert ride for Belle Vue in the play offs was that he'd wear the Witch in 2023
  12. Having spent the last 7 years at Foxhall you would hope that in his 8th he will finally work out the best riding lines around Foxhall.
  13. And that was on the old circuit, the more open Foxhall should suite him better
  14. Perhaps Woofy is going to be backed by Tru Plant this year??
  15. Perhaps they don't want to depress the fans too soon!
  16. Brennan would be a good signing if he is leaving Belle Vue.
  17. No chance! They might however put a track in at the London stadium to allow the mighty Hackney to return.
  18. Ipswich need to be forward thinking and bring in some new blood into the top 5. If Hume is the rising star I'm now going to contradict myself by saying we should go for Nicholls at reserve. On that average he'd be a steal especially at home & would certainly take a lot of pressure of any up & coming riders that might be brought in.
  19. Probably the atmosphere to be honest. The meetings between Ipswich & Lynn in the early mid 90s we're awesome. I remember traveling to Lynn on a cold October evening to support Ipswich in the mid 90s. I can't. Remember what the meeting was possibly the final league match but the place was full to capacity the atmosphere electric & I think Bryce & Spicer probably had the meeting of their careers for you guys that evening. The good Friday morning & afternoon meetings were also superb. Happy days!
  20. How long before we hear some team news. We seem slow off the mark this year.
  21. I can't see that. Kerr has been at Ipswich before in the championship & was disappointing. As for Cook he was the supposed bargain signing last winter & his average dropped further. Add into the equation that the 2023 league looks looks tougher than 2022. Ipswich need to be looking at young blood who can not only improve but can be part of the clubs long term future. A side with Batch,King & Cook/Kerr has far to many question marks & not enough improvement.
  22. Agree having a journeymen like cook or Kerr at 4 hints at lack of imagination/forward thinking. Personally I'd have someone else at 3 too but I really can't see King being anywhere else.
