  1. I thought buster had already confirmed that he isn’t involved financially at either Lynn or Peterborough this year?
  2. What’s the worry King is planning on chasing Emil & Doyle for the number 1 race jacket
  3. None of Andersen,Cook,Heeps or Starke is inspiring. I’d rather keep Riss or Barker
  4. Laguta will improve not an ex world champion for no reason. That said we know who is the most naturally gifted rider Emil by a mile becoming a track record holder at a track he had never seen before in his first ride
  5. The biggest frustration is King. At home with the amount of laps that he has done around Foxhall in all different conditions he should be scoring double figures week in week out. Bank holiday Monday v Lynn he threw his toys out of the pram when easily passed by Lynn riders. Last week v Leicester he seemed at times to be on the wrong lines & by the sounds of it was again last night. I don’t think he should go at the moment as the rising star & what happens with Riss long term should be more of a priority but I would make Doyle captain.
  6. If I was the manager I’d take the captaincy of King to take the pressure off so he can concentrate on his riding…..skipper Doyle?
  7. Hate to say it as the young lad is trying but we desperately need more from the number 7 berth. I wasn’t present tonight but by the sound of it king was on the wrong lines again? His home form should be much better probably the only guy who has done more laps around Foxhall is his boss Mr Louis
  8. only a complete fool would sign KK. Rides like a heat leader at Lynn everywhere else looks like a wobbler
  9. He thought Emil was going to Peterborough at one point & was over the moon!
  10. One rider we should have signed back in the day was Bobby Ott
  11. The sort of response that came from your management over the weekend isn’t new. If you don’t like it don’t come or that sort of response has been given plenty of times by promoters, unfortunately plenty of people have heeded that advice over the years. the promoters want to sell the sport as a proper team sport that people get passionate about. This brings an emotional buy in by those supporters who can take it seriously. However when a club is struggling the promotion don’t like criticism from those very supporters who they need to have an emotional buy in to make it a team sport. They are then expected to put up & shut up while enjoying the racing.
  12. Maybe but not as appalling as your Peterborough team, you guest tonight has more race wins than your entire team have managed all season!
  13. Why did the team manager select someone he knew couldn’t ride….?
  14. Everything about Ipswich is spot on these days. The image of the team Kevlars, bike covers all matching gives the whole thing a huge air of professionalism. The website & social media feeds are fantastic. A huge well done on how the club has developed under Louis junior. Would certainly give the polish lot a run for their money…..
  15. I seem to remember you saying Hans was a small track rider & would score bucket loads of points around foxhall
  16. You wouldn’t believe it a bolt of lightning has just hit the pit gate and damaged the catch! still as we’re a professional club we have a spare.
  17. I understand that, however this was the same kind of provision that Reading,Swindon & possibly Cradley had. Without the venue built it’s one hell of a gamble for a would be owner to take. I’d love to see Peterborough survive but history shows that councils aren’t that good a holding developers to account. it’s happen with developments in Ipswich where community projects were promised as part of a planning application but never materialised. once the housing is built the developers know that they can walk away without keeping to all the planning constraints. No council are going to make them pull down brand new housing. If the showground developers had to build & get into operation the replacement venue before any housing is built then that would be a totally different situation.
  18. Just checked the Poole v Swindon updates looks like Rew had a good night two wins. hopefully Doyle might have had a word with Anders could do with some points from the rs position. That’s not a dig at Thompson but he looks out of his depth currently. Should defo keep him on as the number 8 to give the lad some experience
  19. Kind of agree, however as owner you have the right to stay or sell up. Normally in order for the owner to sell someone has to make an offer that the owner is willing to accept. The big issue for Peterborough speedway is currently as things stand come October the club is worthless as they have no home. Who in their right mind is going to buy out chapman? as crap as it is just enjoy the time you have
  20. Something has gone very wrong with the Kemp Ipswich relationship……he was the bright homegrown hope & now nowhere to be seen.
  21. After the pair’s announcement & the shambles that is Kings Lynn is hard to see a future at the moment. Which is a real shame as the buzz around it’s & the professional nature they go about their business shows what can be done
