I'm just glad Buster didn't get his hands on Ipswich. Having said that if buster is still the owner he has every right to run the business as he sees fit.

As an outsider looking in the questions around the ownership of Peterborough seem Pretty simple to answer. The club has a year left at the showground. Although it appears that another site has been found the costs with obtaining the land & building the stadium seem to be an issue at the moment. Buster is trying to sell a club that currently could have no future in 9 months time. Any offer made is likely to be well below what Buster wants for it. Tomlin wants to buy the club but because of the question mark around what happens after October isn't willing to meet Busters valuation. Buster won't sell, expects to lose money at Peterborough but can use that to offset tax elsewhere. This probably gives buster better value right now than selling for what Tomlin wants to pay for it. Currently Peterborough speedway isn't worth a great deal as the future beyond this season is far from certain.

You might get more than the one man & his dog that showed up at Swindon.

Either would certainly be the most interesting signing Ipswich have made since Gollob in 98

Not sure he rode a league match for Ipswich but it was Karlina who rode against Lynn the gold cup on good Friday.

Neville Tatum's half season at Foxhall was probably his best ever, rode like a heat leader.

However he did show promise towards the end and I guess would have been a dead cert for 89 if shears had stayed on!

Would you include crap but entertaining rides? Karol Baran was shocking but watching him try to stay on was superb! That 360 in front of Crump was pure entertainment!

Just out of interest does Chris holder need a visa to ride in this country? I know at one time he lived here, if he does I wonder how long that would take to process as new application? Perhaps it's Holder Ipswich is waiting on

If the Emil deal has fell through, it was always going to be a tough one to get over the line with all the red tape, although once it was discovered he couldn't play golf that was it!

Your probably right about the weather & prep. The issue seems to be that riders like Heeps & King who are both very experienced & talented riders seem to be lacking one vital piece of track craft & that is to ride different lines when their preferred line isn't working. They seem incapable of being able too. Good old Morten Risager would have been almost unbeatable at Foxhall last season with his stuck to the white line style. Again someone else who was hugely talented but stuck to one line.

He'll been fine, I did something very similar in a snowboard accident several years ago.. I had 4 nights in an Austrian hospital & left with a brace after 8 weeks I was back to almost normal & able to get back on the board after 3 months.
