BV were lucky it was only 18! It was not the guests that was the problem for BV, it was the poor performance of their team. Jack Smith got 2 which must considered on a par with what Joe T would have scored and Harris got similar to what Doyle would have got. Losing Charles hurt BV a lot not only because he has a good record at Ipswich but also because he is good for team spirit.

No a draw would most likely mean Poole would go through, why would it mean we would be knocked out?

If he had a proper average he could not guest either as it would be too high .I would definitely be protesting if I was Peter Adams.

Fricke is pretty good at Ipswich too, tricky decision on which guest to use although Sheffield may have already got Fricke for their play offs but if Doyle is back Sheffield can't use Harris.

Charles was a big miss and it may have counted against you that Ipswich have ridden more recently. The track played a part and probably counted in their favour with the conditions not suiting Belle Vue also Blodorn was poor and you would have been better off with a guest as he may have come back too soon.

Bewley hasnt had a great season, his average is way below his ability.

Dan has clearly not done it this year, couldn't believe he scored less than Holder in the cup. Kurtz has outscored him all season, you would have thought he would want to do better for his home club,strange how someone like Musielak always seems pull it all out for Sheffield.

If a team has to use the same riders in a two legged play off then if Ben Cook had ridden at BV then would he have to ride tonight even though Blodorn is now fit. In the same way shouldn't Cook have ridden in the second leg of last years semi final.

I am, just interested, was hoping it was a rain off as Doyley can't ride this week.

So apparently Ipswich can't use Joe T because of 8 day rule despite the rules appear to state that doesn't to NDL riders!
