  1. I thought the Leicester cubs had announced their team.
  2. Pearson is 17, Ben Cook is 25, Zach is 23. If he is to be better than either Cook by the time he is 18 he hasn't got long to prove it. He seems to be doing well in the Australian Championships but how he will progress who knows . Quite happy for the Cooks to be at Poole for however long they want to be.
  3. I doubt he will struggle beating 2 pointers and I think he could beat some of the 4 pointers.
  4. Don't see the point of having a 2 pointer when you could have a 4 pointer. Shame I like Nathan but can't see that happening.
  5. I was one of many who spoke to him at Kings Lynn and I would agree he is a nice guy and a good rider so should be a reliable reserve.
  6. No thanks, I don't want Batch in any future Poole team.
  7. Don't think we could have dropped Ablitt without dropping someone else , Drew at reserve rode quite well, it was only later in the season at second string he struggled so we could have only changed to two riders on a very low average and I am not sure there were any riders available and even if there were, no guarantee it would have worked and I doubt any other 2 pointer would have performed any better than Nathan and he did have some good rides during the season and definitely improved over the season.
  8. I would be more than happy for Kyle Newman to return, nice guy too. I am sure he will do well for us, he has Poole in his heart too which is a plus.
  9. Yes but I was impressed with Newman at the end of the season, he got some good scores so I think he is well worth his current average and Roynon I believe is better than his current average and as you say the standard of the reserves is lower next season so they should both score well.
  10. Definitely wouldn't go to one named Ringo!!
  11. Yes I was expecting some changes during the season especially as he wasn't scoring but we kept the same team for the whole season which was a pleasant surprise and it paid off.
  12. In my opinion that our team is sorted just hasn't been announced yet.
  13. No your not , the vast majority of hairdressers don't own the salon they work in. He was a salon owner, he didn't any of the work in the salon or salon's.
  14. I think it has been said many times that he owned a salon but wasn't a hairdresser, just some like to think it's funnier to call him a hairdresser.
  15. Not worried at all, I was disappointed that King isn't coming back and it looks like Ablitt isn't back either which is a shame but history tells us we will have a very competitive side who will challenge for the honours once again.
  16. He is the hairy business of speedway management though!!
  17. So he still has to improve half a point to get to his assessed average. Doesn't sound a great signing to me.
  18. Feel sorry for him, I think he is a good rider who could be very good with the right management, certainly has a lot of potential. I hope he does well for Leicester this season, he certainly rides his home track very well and if he doesn't have a CL place now I am sure he will get one later in the season.
  19. Which Redcar rider went elsewhere? Must have missed thay one.
  20. Personally I don't think that is expensive compared to other sports. I went to the world cup at Poole, probably best meeting I had ever seen but spoke to someone at the next league meeting and he didn't go as he thought it was too expensive, really! it was the world cup final.
  21. Maybe David doesn't blame him but that doesn't mean it wasn't intentional.
