  1. Yes you are correct it did used to be a cracking racetrack and they have had world cup meetings there and most of the top riders have ridden for Kings Lynn.
  2. I have never said you haven't lost your home advantage because obviously you have. Kings Lynn is a bigger track than most in this country and most riders ride don't have a problem riding it. The racing I believe has improved this season but with the rain we have all had may not be so good tonight.
  3. I won't but I can't answer for others. I will obviously be very happy but not gloating that isn't my style.
  4. No annoyance from me or nearly every Poole fan on here, I believe only one has mentioned it being a neutral track. For the purpose of this meeting this is Leicester's home track and they should be afforded all the benefits of riding at home.
  5. It was a little joke, I thought you would pick me up on the fact that you have to gate at Kings Lynn but I have heard that it has been better this season and I. agree Ablitt will get passed but he has improved during the season although if he scores a point tonight it will be a shock.
  6. I am sure we will be fine without practice, all you have to do at Kings Lynn is gate, even Ablitt has a chance of points if he can make a gate.
  7. I think I know what you mean although Wolves and Kings Lynn tracks are about as opposite as you could get.
  8. Nobody has, it is your home leg that unfortunately you cannot have at home, the least you should get is a practice on what is, for tomorrow night, your home track.
  9. Wow how unlucky was that, I thought they allowed ten percent. Yes enjoyed that night, wasn't all plain sailing but pulled it off in n the end
  10. I just hope it's a decent meeting that will be good for tv and worthy of a final. Some of us Pirates will remember winning a final at Kings Lynn before, Nick Morris rode for us that night
  11. Yes that is true just a shame it can't be held at Leicester as it isn't fair for them not to have home advantage but we do ride Leicester track pretty well as a team so not sure having it at Kings Lynn is much of a advantage to us. I would imagine it will still be a good meeting on a fair racetrack. There are riders on both sides that ride it well, from a Poole point of view it is to our benefit Howarth is not fit to ride as he doesn't go well there usually and Scott Nicholls is very good there who could have guested again.
  12. Yes true but they haven't really explained fully why it can't be staged or any photos of the current state if the track, I appreciate from Buster's point of view it is alot easier to do any necessary track work at his own track with all his own equipment but in this case i feel like they still had a chance of staging it at Leicester and have given up.
  13. With no rain forecast in Leicester from now until Saturday I don't know why Buster couldn't work his magic at Leicester tomorrow rather than at his own track, he managed to do it the other day and get the track looking reasonable so why not now. Apparently Kings Lynn has had a decent amount of rain too so I am not sure what the advantage is other than Buster himself wanting to host it at his track.
  14. Good point! That may prove tricky unless you stay in the local travelodge.
  15. I think maybe Robert Lambert was a special case in more ways than one! It was no surprise to most of us he didn't turn up but it was very bad not to release a statement prior to the meeting, when I expect many fans went to see him and went home very disappointed.
  16. Yes and I am sure we are all grateful for the information as some of us are coming a long way but I must say in fairness to the Leicester promotion we have been told before most of us have left home and grateful to Steve and Skidder for posting information on here in a effort to help which is not always accepted with good grace. I am sure we all realise and grateful for the amount of time given freely by the track men, it is often a thankless task and much appreciated by us all.
  17. Hope so, two full teams would be good, Howarth should have a extra spring in his step!!
  18. Is it arrogance or just a tongue in cheek jokey remark.
  19. Another one that wants us to fold. Nice!
  20. Poole and Leicester will fulfill their commitments too but some seem to want the play offs cancelled and revert to league positions. I am merely pointing out that if people want the championship resolved by league positions then so should the premiership.
