Think I read somewhere that they will be out in a couple of weeks.

Klindt needs removing from Rye House and adding to Scunny instead of Poole

Happy New Year Tiger fans... It's gonna be a good un 😃

Scunthorpe Scorpions 2016?
Cue Ball replied to Paul Johnson's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
Think he was trying to point out the typo of EDR instead of EWR -
If we can stay injury free, we should be in the play offs at least, a strong looking team
-
You've got to be in it to win it
-
Not sure which state it was, but one of them has said no out of state riders are allowed in their competition. In any event, Proctor doesn't fit with the people was release of an exciting British rider and a European

2.5 hours? Do you go via Birmingham?

6.98 average for Howarth, so would leave us with 4.17 to play with

Pin it... You know you want to!!

Richard Hall for Sheffield
-
Good signing. The problem with Richard in the past has been that he has had a heat leader average but struggled away from home...he now has a low average which will fit with his away ability and we know that he is more than capable of making a mockery of it at home. Also, he is fantastic to watch 😃

Gotta beat the Monarchs somehow! Surprised that there has been not much mention of Poole or Proctor being in the team
-
Not sure if our pits are big enough for his hair 😀

He actually said 'it looks like it's time to move on' which would suggest he has been told that he is surplus to requirements. Personally think that he could still have done us a good job, but there you go we will now never know
-
That's great news, we have never been as strong since the training track closed
-
Josh it is
-
See the logic in saying Arthur, but unless they can be sure about there not being a draft, it would seem a risk. Josh is probably the more likely one

Brady is a difficult one, he has been awesome around Sheffield this season for the most part, but some of his scores at the Oak Tree and on the road haven't been great, whereas a fit Steady is pretty much good for double figures everywhere he goes. That said, Brady is only 18 (?) and clearly has more talent on a bike in his little finger than I will ever have and so wouldn't be unhappy to have him

I don't know the facts, but maybe it's the number of blank Thursday's in a row that was the issue for Sheffield and the fact is that the Peterborough riders were available to ride. From the Peterborough perspective, their riders had organised to have a break before their respective meetings. 2 sides to every story and as is so often the case in speedway, there is every chance that we will never know both sides in full

Think the bad things would be increased prices, missing riders, no continuity of race night, no discernible difference in the standard of racing for the most part, having to read/listen to people whinge about everything being Pooles fault, less meetings?, riders saying they are injured on any night of the week when their Polish, Swedish or Danish club are not riding etc etc I would no doubt enjoy the racing as I enjoy speedway generally, but I don't feel the need for us to go Elite

Just had this really weird dream where sheffield were 12 up after 3 heats and then lost... Fair play to Peterbarker on a deserved win, we had too many passengers. At the beginning of the meeting I commented that I was surprised by Barker's average and that he was a much better rider than it suggested, unfortunately I was right!
