  1. Must be tough having reserves that only score paid 15. Typical FF nonsense.
  2. A superb gesture from Lee Kilby to do this. He deserves all the support possible for what he is doing to help Mitchell. I'd have joined him if I could have. Having witnessed the incident close up and personal I'm sure there are plenty of Birmingham track folk that will be doing there bit too. Good to see pictures of him awake and smiling today, reading the statement today however makes it clear that this is still a very serious condition to be in.
  3. I'd expect a fairly comfortable Wolves win, by 10 or more.
  4. Brought up by Ivanhoe on page 8 to which I replied and you said I was the only one who thought we weren't. Forgetful again I see.
  5. Exactly. No one is mediocre at this stage of the season although Poole are doing a very good impression of one.
  6. Why should he be at reserve?? His last average here in 2013 was 7.56. I see no reason why it should be decreased.
  7. Must admit that's the part I'm more happier about because the head injury seemed to be the thing that most concerned the professionals on scene. I hope this proves to be not true too.
  8. Only you could bring up us having a mediocre season after one KO Cup meeting, lol!
  9. Think all the staff went home in complete shock to be honest. But like you say, let's hope it's better news in the coming days.
  10. Think it was more to protect Mitch and to protect the public from what was an awful sight. It was very serious at that stage.
  11. I've taken many friends and acquaintances over the years, 30+ I'd say. Less than on one hand can I say those who went more than twice a season after that. It's gone beyond tell your friends and family.
  12. Absolutely dreadful, watching young riders and grown men cry. His poor mom looked in complete shock.
  13. Probably not, but hopefully will show to give some respect. I make no apologies to what I had to witness tonight so it's a bit raw still.
  14. It took him a long while to regain consciousness and I'd assume he has more injuries than first suspected.
  15. I have to say it was shocking for all the staff to have to shield Davey from the public. Not a part of the job that I can say I found very easy either.
  16. Described by the doctor on scene as a 'massive head injury'. Riders crying and the management in complete shock. Let's hope it isn't as bad as feared for Davey. Thoughts are with Mitch and his family tho. It's not a night I can say I feel happy about being part of and one of the dreadful things staff have to witness up close.
  17. 2 dreadful crashes marred what was looking like a good meeting. The heat 5 crash was one of the worst I've seen in a long while. Well wishes to Jordan Jenkins (heat 12), Sam Bebee and of course Mitchell Davey. Paramedics, riders and staff showed major concern for Mitch who was described as having a 'massive head trauma' by the doctor on scene. Fingers crossed all riders recover well.
  18. Thankfully league tables don't lie, an expected clueless retort. Ha ha!
  19. The team that's pretty strong at home and took an away point 2 weeks ago with the number one top scoring you mean? It's most certainly not mediocre so far. As for the KO Cup, mickey mouse competition.
  20. Alarm bells aren't ringing at all. We have only had 2 away meetings, one which we took an away point and Jacob top scored with double figures. Alarmist post with no valid back up. Just to add no surprise at the loss at the NSS, we are pants there. The margin was very poor tho.
  21. If it's seen in the best interest of British speedway then the rules apply as described. He usually does, but not tonight. Still, he had him in his own back pocket last night. Likewise Morris was better than Brady at Wimborne Road, no one can argue with that.
