Some people just have to have a dig.
-
It’s certainly got to be a key factor I’d say.
-
Get there early enough and you should have no problems getting on main car park.

Big changes! Seems to have lost it’s starting power packed look and gone down the cheaper British route. The Pole deserved longer imho. Nicholls isn’t a number one anymore but then Bjerre has hardly been riding like one either. Auty for Krystian is an odd one although it can’t be denied that Auty has been having a much improved season in the 2nd tier. But in the main body of the team? Replacing the reserves tho is a no brainier plus Robbo at reserve is an obvious move for any club. Still surprising move tho. i wonder if the 2 maximum changes brigade are going to be as critical on this as they are on Poole?
-
Of course the changes are fair, it’s within the rules! i think it’s a dangerous precedent to set to limit the amount of maximum changes any team can make, because some teams genuinely have riders with several injury problems, riders out of form and wanting out and several variables including making changes prior to the cut off date for last changes. limiting to just 2 changes maximum is unfair to teams affected by the above reasons.

Belle Vue v Somerset 16/7 BT Sport

Worrall the key, I can see the Rebels pulling off a win. 44-46 -
Where is this bs?? i don’t think I’ve ever read that Wolves couldn’t afford them. I’d love to read that information.
-
Nothing wrong with either part. It’s just an opinion. Thought I’d read the 12th also.
-
Why are you bringing me into anything? my constructive opinion is that I think it’s a backward step. If true that Sundstrom has stood down then Harris is as good as signing as is possible.

Fixed race nights... early indications!!!

He did add the not been paid caveat after that quote! of course speedway is Monday night, it’s been the prominent night for TV which I’m assuming what he means. and I’m sure that’s exactly what he meant. -

Tai makes an interesting comment about Monday night speedway in the UK in this weeks SS. ”I’ve said it over and over and over again. Monday night is speedway night, everyone knows it’s on a Monday night. I know there’s different issues with different clubs but if you can’t race on a Monday, then don’t race in the Premiership. Any clubs that want to race on a Monday, come to the Premiership. Make it professional. Sweden works, Poland works.” -
Agreed, although the increase in Masters and Schlein has helped us to a good start to the season. Morris has proved to be a good signing in reserve. Not in the main team tho.
-
Of course it’s relevant, you keep mentioning that we shouldn’t have signed Thorssell instead of Lindgren. Howarth being injury jinxed and Heeps have been the biggest disappointments this season.
-
No one was laughing when he was scoring a maximum. The problem that’s been exposed is when we struggle in a meeting or lose a meeting we should have won will point us to a number one who isn’t scoring what Freddie would have done. as is always the case one rider doesn’t make a team. There are bigger issues than Jacob dropping his average a bit.
-
Of course he isn’t doing bad, that’s why I said previously that to maintain that average he will be doing very well. I actually expected him to add to his average at the start of the season. Hence why I said he is doing a decent job. If you think that’s laughable then so be it. We have been top 4 most of the season so far so we are having a ‘decent’ season so far. However due to injuries we are at risk of that all coming undone in the coming weeks if nothing changes.
-
Fred has nothing to say that isn’t laughable.
-
As already stated we know employing Jacob was the cheaper option and it’s completely unjust to expect him to replace the scoring prowess of Fred. He was never going to be able to do that. riding at number one was always going to be a tough gig. I’ve said previously if he holds his average he will have done well this season. As expected he is a very inconsistent number one, similar to Nick Morris who also wasn’t at number one last year despite riding in a much tougher number 5 position.
-
On the whole Jacob is doing a decent job. He was never going to replace Fred’s scoring or should he have been expected too. We know the management choose the cheaper option at number one. He seems to have gone slightly backwards in Poland and Sweden too so clearly other issues going on too. The bottom end has been the problem most noticeably Howarth and Heeps. Howarth thru injury, Heeps thru below par form. unless we can get Howarth back fit and scoring like we know he can in the next week or 2 then changes must be considered if there are suitable riders available. Not sure if Harris and Robson fit but they would be worth considering, more for getting Robbo in reserve who has had some terrific meetings at the Green.
-
Don’t get me wrong. Having Howarth in the team is my first choice as he seems the glue that binds the top 3 as without him they have been nowhere near as effective. But we simply cannot carry RR anymore. Heeps has been nothing short of a disaster.

I believe Doc has already moved abroad. -
Not at all unless Howarth is ready for our next meeting.

Attack the post, not the poster.

As expected. RR is proving disastrous. Time to make a change if Howarth isn’t fit for our next match.
