  1. Shanes is quoted by some as saying back in a few weeks. The rules are relevant to that.
  2. The question to me is what are the rules after initial declaration? It suggests anything goes if you read it that way and hence why rules get changed ad hoc to suit as the season goes which is where all the problems are. A clear rulebook with transparency would cut that out but as we know the BSPA don't want anything clear as it gives them the option to makes rules up as they go along during the season. Which makes the points of view that the 1 over 8 rule was done purely to cut costs which is madness if you can sign as many over 8's as you can (or expensive under 8's in some cases) in the season. Utter madness.
  3. Which makes Phils comment irrelevant too then. However if we are going by usual season appearances it's actually the reverse as the Aces are usually better value at the Green than we are at the NSS. The Aces are injury hit this season so far so it's certainly not usual as you were.
  4. Whilst some rules are clear many are not. If they added it ONLY applies to initial team declaration then it would be crystal clear.
  5. Not usually allowed under the rules, however these can of course be bended if you want to try gain an advantage. 16.3.5 The BSPA MC monitors all proposed moves and has the sole responsibility to approve all (re-)Declared Team Line-Ups having been satisfied they are in the best interests of the sport. And 16.5.2.2 No facility is permitted to replace a rider, who although included in a Re-declaration has not made an appearance for that Team since being re-declared.
  6. That's clarity that we'll all knew. Bringing in riders over 8 during the season? ??
  7. It's hardly going to be for Wolves is it? Nonsense . Both A and B fixtures you beat us over 2 legs in 2017
  8. It's no surprise. Poole have an abysmal record with British riders. Newman... binned. Howarth. ..binned. They have to rely on the foreigners to do the business and when they don't they sack a Brit who is doing his job. The rule that's been in existence for several seasons now. That's Danish born Nielsen of course. As previously mentioned you can't reintroduce a rider you previously released in same season. It's a good rule for a very good reason.
  9. Can't see Freddie riding for anyone else other than Wolves.
  10. Nilsson is nearly half a point higher than Danny so not unless you have points to spare. Plus you can't introduce a rider from last year without permission being given.
  11. Says the troll who was discussing the GP 9 point (supposed) rule on the 1 over 8 rule. Must read Zagar's tweets more often. Ha ha! It must be a lonely world you live in. Anyway, such is life.
  12. Oh dear. The post was in reply to the one over rule, nothing at all to do with the GP assessed 9 rule that seemed to have been ignored at all. I grant you facts aren't your strongest characteristic. Did you forget about Zagar's tweet? Adams told the room, not me. Even Ford mentioned it in relation to Pawlicki. Ha ha!
  13. It's easy to get the rules mixed up. Shanes isn't expected to do anything other than score the odd 2 or 3 points a match. So he his doing his job.
  14. KO Cup meetings don't count. Has he been bragging recently as he couldn't gloat enough pre season.
  15. So it could be true or not then. At least the averages issue is clear, for today at least. 16.2.1.4 Updated MA’s will be calculated monthly on a rolling basis on all eligible meetings, up to and including 23rd of the month to become effective from the 1 st of the following month. 16.2.1.5 NDL Established MA’s are issued when a Rider completes 4 NL Meetings (irrespective of whether home or away) to be effective 7 days after the last qualifying Meeting. 16.2.1.6 A SGB Premiership or Championship assessed League rider will establish an MA after 4 Home and 4 Away fixtures, becoming effective 7 days after the last qualifying Meeting. Should an Established MA not be achieved to be effective from 1 st May, then the MC may issue a revised MA, based upon actual rides if the Team re-declares. 16.2.1.7 A NDL rider, who is not in an NDL Team Declaration will be given an Established MA after completing 4 Meetings, irrespective of being home or away.
  16. Sometimes you really can't make this sort of stuff up. Since when were rolling averages introduced ?? Probably yesterday. I have interest in ALL teams thanks and will post where I like thanks, including on my own teams threads. It's called being a fan of speedway. As I previously said it's the BSPA that are to blame for any apparent manipulation. And any club that attempts to fiddle will rightly get stick for. That's the same if it's Poole, Wolves or any other team.
  17. Can you show me the rule that confirms that then, thanks. And still making guff up.
  18. Since when has anything important been included in the rules? ? They are already changing the rules on the new rolling averages. Nothing is ever clear or actual. Ford has already said he would have used Piotr if he hadn't been reassessed to 9, PA confirmed Piotr had asked for his name to be circulated. Zagar has already mentioned that he had been ruled out of Britain due to being reassessed as a GP rider on a 9. Adams said Woffy was considering a return till he was ruled out by the GP 9 point ruling. Seems to have been dropped after a very short time. As it stands it's yet again open to interpretation what averages riders would come back into the league on. The usual bumblings from the BSPA.
