  1. Hopefully common sense will prevail that ALL riders not riding here in 2017 will be reassessed. The fact that they aren't listed yet seems to indicate they are yet to decide.
  2. Sadly a Poole fan will only see the wrong in this if a rival team signed a ringer. Just when you thought the "riders not riding here in 2017 will be reassessed" was a fair and transparent one.
  3. If you have a link that proves this please? Nothing published or released by the BSPA. It's absolutely the wrong thing to do to reassess some but not others. The BSPA will have made a huge mistake if they are allowing this. I'm surprised you are in favour of this? hopefully Poole will sign Lebedevs, Milik and Woryna to prove what a joke that will make the rules.
  4. As is usual the fans are left in the dark. That's what's to worry about. No wonder people are getting sick of this cloak and dagger approach. We all want fairness and transparency from the rules. Why haven't the BSPA released the team building averages so the fans can see them too?? Doesn't make sense at all unless there is some skulduggery going on behind the scenes.
  5. That hasn't been made clear yet. I hope it isn't that tho. No one wants ringers in their teams, not even Poole fans. Knowing the BSPA anything is possible sadly. Hopefully commonsense will prevail.
  6. Depends which rules we are talking about. If it's to do with averages I hope any returnees not here in 2017 are reassessed As they should be for whoever they sign for.We hardly know any rules yet.
  7. the thread was closed because of that last week. Some people never learn. Exactly. CVS has the right idea. Buying assets is a waste of time because riders will ride where they want to anyway.
  8. Back in the real world nobody is right or wrong. More seem to be in favour of the 3 improving than not so best leave it there.
  9. I thought riding NL counted but I'm not convinced it does now unless he has dual heritage?
  10. Nothing has been confirmed officially by the BSPA and averages for the new season and team building have not been released. Pure speculation still.
  11. That's your opinion, I just happen to believe you are wrong. You need to read my posts a bit wider if you think I'm defensive about Wolves. As a fan of the club I have a right to agree or disagree with an opinion. I've also noticed from a previous thread you are very impatient when asking a question. I guess we are all different. And that's the beauty of this forum. (Trolls exempt naturally)
  12. got to admit it's an uninspiring signing. no one knows what Milik average would be, they haven't released assessed averages for those who didn't ride here in 2017. No way should riders like Milik, Woryna and Lebedevs stay on their false averages. If riders like Woffy and Kildemand are given a 9 then there has to also be a realistic average also for the other riders. anybody rubbing their hands with joy at the thought of signing riders on an outdated average are as good as condoning cheating. BSPA need to sort this ASAP. They aren't, they are guessing. No figures have been released yet.
  13. Masters was over 8 before his injury so improvement there. Howarth had a break thru year this year so still improvement to be made. In a 1 rider over 8 league Rory should easily add to that average. 100% improvement in all 3. who's the 4th??? 3 signed. In fairness your tales usually are incredibly weak.
  14. brilliant news for the Robins. 2 bright British lads with big improvement in both ahead. That's assuming they haven't altered that rule but then again anything is possible.
  15. Of course he did. They announced it before the AGM. Vaculik was never going to Poole in 2018.
  16. I reckon we will see on mass cheating as the top boys have engine failures and tape breaks and mysterious dips in form as riders try get under 8. I won't be surprised.
  17. That's why it isn't fair. You can't regrade some and not others. Complete farce and totally unfair. Any team that signs a rider who didn't ride here in 2017 are getting a ringer. And deserve all the ill feeling that comes with it. Thanks again to the complete incompetence of the BSPA.
  18. do you mean me saying that I agree Tai and other riders should be reassessed for fairness and clarity?? you can't change the rules mid season but you can make the rules 'fair for all' to start a new season. It's interesting that you interpret it as bias towards my own club, which it's clear it isn't. Woffy has as valid an average of any rider. The year that Tai and all the other top boys got low averages was due to the race format. Making their averages falsely low. I can see it's only fair that riders who didn't ride here in 2017 (under the regular race format) have an outdated average so I think it's fair to give them a 'new' realistic average. It's just whether 9 is a 'fair' assessment. Of course I agree that any rider who didn't ride here in 2017 therefore has an outdated average. Reassess one, reassess all who weren't here in 2017. It's just the assessment of the new average that needs clarity.
  19. Obviously trying to collect every club as a badge of honour. Thank god he isn't admired by the management at Wolves. Phew!
  20. that's just you then Steve. He was struggling in Poland and a rider that is ranked 45th in the averages isn't a number one rider if that's by name only. That's the most extreme stretch you can make as a view point. I agree his average was low for his ability but he struggled for Wolves but the odd great race he had proved what talent he had. If he hadn't ridden here this year I'd expect him to be reassessed for 2018 along with any returnee. Nobody hates Poole, it's just the odd few posters on here that breed contempt for the club. Obviously it suits some to say everyone hates Poole but it is of course an untruth.
  21. Jacob's form away was much improved this year, with an average of 7.55 (8.19 with BP). A point lower than Fred. The main difference of course was that it was from the supposed easier position of no4. A lot has been made of Jacob struggling away over the recent years but that's not the case in 2017. Both he and Freddie could be considered a risk coming back from season ending serious injuries.
