  1. AGM stuff from Wolves talk in Monday night. AGM STUFF......... No TV deal in place. More discussions to take place. Seems clubs aren't happy with no money deal. Doyle is likely to be riding in the top flight (according to Pearson). Pete Adams was at AGM, not CVS. Neither agree with 1 rider over 8 rule or dropping of the 2 Brit rule. 9.00 averages for GP riders or riders out the UK for a season. Only one Tactical substitute ride per meeting, in line with Europe (since when as wasn't the case in 2017???) The minutes have yet to be checked and averages confirmed. No restriction on DU riders. The ISLB confirm that Poland should have priority on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. What happens on bank holiday Mondays is yet to be seen.
  2. WOLVES WINTER TALK IN. Wolves news. .... Kyle Howarth confirmed 1st signing. Was in both team plans and agreed at the presentation night. Likely to be back with Sheffield and has signed a Polish 1st division deal with a team that has Greg and 19 other riders! Parry's confirmed as sponsors, now in its 18th season. 2 teams being considered for next year. One with Freddie, one with Jacob. Conversations are ongoing with Freddie which suggests he is 1st choice. However CVS added Jacob will probably have a quicker recovery from his injury. Pawlicki has been in contact with club and could be interested, however on a 9 is virtually a no no. Manzares, Bech and Hume - CVS has no interest. It's hoped Mondays will start regular then be every 2 weeks. no changes on admission prices. Nathan Greaves - is being considered if other clubs employ 2 pointers. If not then he won't be back. Sam - only riding top tier and abroad. 90 years of racing at Wolves in 2018. Some celebration planned not sure what yet. Doyle has texted CVS about a team place. He assumes he has sent one to every club. The future of Wolves??? - likely to be with shareholders (preffered) or a consortium. Could be happening soon be the sounds of it. AGM STUFF......... Vaculik is still a good signing on 9. Doyle is looking for a British club.
  3. wrong as per usual. Questioned was asked about Manzares and CVS Said he wasn't in team plans. All GP riders, including Tai, Piotr and Vaculik are assessed or reassessed as 9.
  4. As long as we don't make the same mistake of making the number 7 the senior reserve next season. Greaves would make a great number 7 but the top end I agree is way more important to sort first and foremost.
  5. My thinking too. It seems the Robins have taken the cheaper option plus maybe the world champ priced himself out of a place? ? Or a mixture of both. Crazy that Doyle won't be leading Swindon in 2018.
  6. And the season before. Not sure Tai was ever going backwards. He increased his average year on year till 2013. I'd say he more of less maintained that promise but delivered in 2013. Otherwise good summary.
  7. Hopefully any GP rider will be a minimum 8. Otherwise it's just a waste of time having any realistic rules.
  8. Piotr was an assessed 7 due to having ridden to a similar standard on fleeting appearances previously and he wasn't in GP's either. Think standard has been set with the Lindback reassessment and in line with the Pawel assessment this year. Unless they are going to make up the rules to suit again.
  9. Of course Perks is a better rider, you only have to look at their respective averages. However I'd have Shanes everytime tho.
  10. Exactly. The same as before and in line with Poland and Sweden.
  11. Exactly. Nothing has been confirmed if it's one or several. Unless anyone can point me to the part in the rules that confirm it. Pure speculation at this stage it seems.
  12. They certainly aren't the power side they once we're either!
  13. Great news for adam's future. He has made the right decision signing for the club who took a chance on his high average and stuck with him, particularly when Poole decided not to stand by him and his high average. He is still progressing nicely so another Brit for the future.
  14. Doubtful. Home nation always counts as priority. Unless of course the Poles say different.
  15. I don't get the loyalty issue with Denmark. Nothing has changed. Andersen rode for Poole this year and was in squad in Denmark. No new issues.
  16. Quite possibly, should be higher on experience I guess.
  17. I'm assuming the same FB. If he didn't do enough matches then it should revert back to 5.51. Not convinced by him personally but much better value than the awful THJ on a sub 4 tho.
  18. Which is right? ? 7.71 listed on Leicester team or 5.51 listed in average order? An early cock up.
  19. I wouldn't. A rider who finished 6th in the away averages is likely to be snapped up in a shot.
  20. Piotr Pawlicki is 7.32. Hopefully back at Wolves tho. Woffy has stated he will always be happy to help Wolves out. If he was going to come back you can be sure if would be with Wolves. However he isn't coming back.
  21. 7.32 You aren't the first person to say Thorssell is poor and wrong as well. His away average is 7.55 (8.19 with BP). Speedway star have him listed as 6th in away averages, above Hans, Bjerre, Harris, Holder, Fricke, Holder, Kurtz, Nicholls, Lambert, King. Of all the listed above 8 for next season Jacob is 5th in away averages. I think we can all see that Jacob isn't poor away.
  22. TNT said the same thing about Tai but I can't see any new average for him other than the one he finished 2016 on.
  23. Let's hope it's common sense and it's as you were.
  24. Well said Gavan. The hypocrisy of Starman is embarrassing.
