Auty is virtually a last minute placement in my eyes. Hasn't improved in years and even in reserve seems to score minimal points. One of the most highly overrated British riders of recent years. There are likely to be better options. Col is a known Auty admirer so is probably biased. He even suggested that Howarth will never be as good as Auty.

And less meetings.
-
Meetings I've watched at Wolves and other tracks seem to follow the 4 heats grade, then every 3. That is needed. The start time and presentation should be clearer tho. Advertising as "tapes up 7.30" is false advertising particularly if it's parade at 7.30 and 1st race at 7.45. Most people can be in by 7.30 so I see no reason why racing can't start then with parade at 7.20. Personal preference.

It's lost while BE are involved anyway. Why can't the campaign group still carry on? The aim surely is to get speedway back at Brandon or in Coventry? ?

Classis starman

Cradley have used Monmore to keep their great name alive. Surely that's the point?? If Bees fans don't attend you may as well forget about any hope of any continued racing for the club. Surely this is great news for any Bees fan?
-
There was never a chance he was coming anyway.
-
He is on a bargain average of 4.64. Although I think he won't even match that. Can't think of a more overrated rider in recent years. That's his level.
-
Which is what I said. The unrealistic averages where amended with totally unrealistic ones!
-
I think any rider who has a complete season out of the UK leagues needs to be reassessed for fairness. Sundstrom is a better rider than last time he was here, that's for sure. He would make a weak number one however IMHO.
-
The start of the season all the top riders has their averages amended to a higher figure. There is no guarantee any rider racing in the top flight in 2018 will start on their last attained average.
-
Still doesn't make sense as Poole haven't won for 2 seasons.
-
They must have failed miserably this year then.

builders will do what suits them even if they are offered more money. If you have a contract with a builder you will surely expect them to prioritise your work no less than any other. I'm sure some builders do take a job on with more money offered but they wouldn't need to take any further work which is much different to the life of a speedway rider who signs a contract for 8-9 months in different countries. Personally I couldn't care less who pays more money. Sign a contract, and honour it. And it's still wrong IMHO.
-
he did this year. I don't know of any other line of work where you can be equally employed by different people. Who decides who is the 'main' employer??
-
Exactly. Plus Monday nights have been no issue for SKY/BT and more importantly Wolves and the Aces (until they moved) and teams wanting to be on TV. Monday seems one of the better days for set racing.
-
Iversen is saying he is open to coming back to the UK next season and Vaculik has already signed for Leicester. Both ride in Poland, Sweden and own country. It would appear the Poles have been told to do one and rightly so.
-
Makes no difference. He signed as a Wolves asset before he rode for anyone. That was good of Poole to give him extra experience that helped him, and our cause.
-
On what basis? Polish and Swedish averages? In Poland Martin 11th on 2.036, Andrey 38th on 1.523 https://speedwayekstraliga.pl/statystyki/lista-klasyfikacyjna/lista-klasyfikacyjna-2017/ In Sweden Martin 17th 1.729, Andrey 21st 1.714 http://www.svemo.se/sv/Grenar/Speedway/Elitserien2017/Rankinglista/ so not sure what logic you are using but it seems misguided at best.

I agree. The lesson learned should be to look at more solidity throughout the side with a strong number 6 who can float between top 5 and reserve. Securing a strong number 1 (Fred, Tai, Piotr) is still essential. Hopefully Nicki P isn't under consideration. One of the first questions I will be asking at the upcoming talk in later this month.
-
Tai will do what he wants, he has already said and done that. He is happy to ride for Wolves if he can and we need him. And seeing as he hasn't ridden for another top flight since he signed for us as a 16 year old is all the evidence that is needed.

Think the single quoted line just about sums up all we need to know.

More nonsense from Brandon Bob/Gater1 et Al. The gift that keeps giving. Usually all wrong news.
-
top class Steve0. It's the multi aliased one who is always wrong. Brandon Bob.

Thanks for confirming that it's NOT official.
