Do you mean Piotr or Shamek? Piotr owned Wolves track within a short time so I'm assuming you are referring to his brother. Piotr is great on all tracks.

Woffy will do what he wants to do although it's pretty clear he would prefer to be back at Wolves if he did come back.

No one has an idea what averages will be used for next season for the riders who rode here this season, never mind those who haven't ridden here a year or more. Wolves probably won't have use for him if it's altered but on a 7 I'm sure his parent club would want him back.

We have no idea what averages will be applied for 2018 for any of the riders. I'm sure any meetings he rode in 2016 will, and should, be applied if he chose to ride here in 2018. Let's face it, it's highly unlikely. I've got no issue with Tai being regraded to a suitable average if that makes things fair. So long as it's applied universally to ALL riders coming back to the top flight if they chose to. I see no reason why any rider who is GP standard and rides in the top flight in Poland and Sweden shouldn't be on a minimum 8 point average. So yes that's Tai, Lindback, Milik, Vaculik etc.

as has already been pointed out, Wolves started at full strength in the first leg but lost valuable points by Jacob being injured in heat 14 and unable to ride with a reserve replacing him. ditto 2nd leg with Freddie unable to take his final 2 rides. so Wolves most certainly were not at full strength. yes it was me and of course it was true. Both sides pretty evenly matched however the Aces would have started favourites for both competitions because of them being the better side over 2 legs. Wolves missed out on 1 maybe 2 rides from Jacob in the 1st leg. Wolves were not at full strength throughout the first leg.

Relegation And Promotion Play Offs

That's a dilemma. Poor footie or decent speedway! I dread clicking over as my Baggies can be hard work at the best of times. There was passing even if it was early on. Some close heats have seen it already way better than the bore fest at a supposed better track last week. -

Strange question all the same. Glad I can educate you then. Perfectly fine with me. -

Just to comment on that. Was hugely suprised to see that. Edit.... just announced the stands are closed due to strong winds. Understandable. -
Why? No one seems interested in this competition anymore. They binned it years ago for this very reason and from what I hear from staging tracks they have been the poorest of the season. Last week's first leg of the final was played out in front off a poor crowd im lead to believe. It's a final........... no one seems to care. Give it some meaning it might, just might be salvaged. Early season and run the final mid season. Just maybe.

Relegation And Promotion Play Offs

Both teams will want to win that's for sure! I'm hoping it's the Baggies naturally -
He didn't this season (like many others) so who knows what they will use for averages next season!?? REAL averages would be nice tho!

Don't get calling West Brom one of the weaker teams!!! We finished well above them last season. -
Indeed. Some Belle Vue fans feeling rules are only aimed to punish them. Back in the real world an Aces team of 5 home riders faces a team of 3 Wolves riders with iffy guests. Aces can't lose this. Sooner we dump competitions like this the better. I've yet to read any post anywhere that anyone is interested in this competition. I'll have a look at the score later and be nonplussed whatever the result.

yes I'd imagine that's right. UK money is small change and I doubt many other clubs would offers much more vast amount of money for him to even think twice. working at Birmingham I've heard no rumours about Adams/Ermolenko being involved. very well said. Absolutely. A total legend for many clubs in the sport.

I think top rider definition is pretty clear. GP rider, top tier in Poland and Sweden. He didn't qualify as of right tho. He got in thru the back door, opened by Dudek. But taking nothing away from his achievements, in the qualifiers he has been excellent and a 4th place finish in the race off has given that right to be in the GP's. This year he isn't a top rider because he flopped in the WC and hasn't secured his place in THE big leagues. It's his interviews i find nauseating. Talking about wanting to be world champion. He can maybe talk about that ambition now he is in next year's GP, however the last few years his comments have been frankly embarrassing. I'm not gonna knock his ambition and I wish him well on the World stage but I, like many, expect it to be a spectacular flop. Maybe he will prove everybody wrong. I think you make a very valid point that it's probably more Pete Adams that he is loyal too. Have no idea what these Birmingham stories are you refer to tho?

Cook is Aces thru and thru. No denying that. And he always gets my support when he is racing for GB (like any named rider). Woffy is a different class so as such doesn't have to put up with the nonsense our governing body expect. If he rode in England then Wolves would be his number one choice. I'm under no illusion that iv the right offer came to him elsewhere he would most likely take it. He still clearly enjoys being a Wolves asset and just maybe if fixed nights are happening (something him AND all the top riders have been saying for about 8 years now) then we might see him back in Wolves colours. Woffy would get my support every time over Cook, which really is no surprise.

With the news of a suspected bigger league and more teams I doubt that they will use those inflated averages again.Still, one never knows!
