  1. Unbelievably you are trying to claim teams are racing for a cup and not a league title. Ask your mates Tai and Sam to explain which is more important. Still want the postcode for Stoke to see fantasies come true?? Thought not. Play offs are that exciting aren't they?
  2. They aren't playing for "the cup", they are racing for the league title. A trophy is presented for the league winners. Probably why it isn't called the Play Off Cup I guess.
  3. It's more to do with commitment more than anything. Which he has a proven track record of lacking. Why did he miss Monday nights Coventry match for some "official" polish celebration when half the squad missed it racing for their teams? ? His commitment to the EL has stunk for years now.
  4. Whereas you sound like someone banging the same drum year in year out. No idea what 'cup' you are going on about. It's irrelevant when talking about the season end show that is the league championship title decider. Fans have been picking and choosing meetings for years now, but that's more to do with the strength and format of the EL and the constant devaluing of the league as a whole plus the shambolic rulebook that many lost to the sport detest. Swindon fans I would imagine would turn up in large numbers considering this week is a make or break one for both their club and that of Lakeside fans. If people want to go they will. No real true theory on reasons why.
  5. Bizarrely no it doesn't! They have to have it fitted to start with.
  6. Not Long for the play offs now with the league programme the warm up act nearly done. Good to see the doom and gloom bunch are still bleating on about how wrong they are. Without them speedway would be even less attended. Even this week we still have crucial fixtures involving teams that wouldn't be even in with a shout in the 'good old days'. So thankful that we have them and can't wait for them to start, a bigger bonus that my team is still up for being crowned league champions. Funny how the PL, NL, Danish league, Polish League , Swedish league all use the same successful format tho isn't it?! Not long now folks, you can nearly smell the excitement.
  7. Surprised Shamek is still a Cov asset as he seems to be linked to Poole in recent times when he has ridden here.
  8. Personally can't seeing anything changing if he rides here next year.
  9. One earned from a shocking bad season but earned. Tai is riding at 8.41 this season which is a truer reflection. You can only judge a new rider within the rules. 8 for an established Swedish/Polish heat leader it used to be or GP rider. Seems fair enough!
  10. Nothing on social media or official sources. Probably a guess then due to him supposedly removing his equipment from the UK which seems clear he has no intention of racing for Lakeside even if they make the play offs.
  11. AJ's loyalty to Lakeside is commendable and given that he is a Bees asset just goes to show he will do whatever is right for him. Still find it odd he chooses Lakeside over his parent club but get that he has ties there.
  12. You can't say he is injured and the rider himself says he is fit to ride tho. Woffy, and Wolves were upfront about reasons why he missed meetings even tho i didn't agree with them. Middlo and Hans seem to have very different agendas!
  13. His PL average is 6.62 but from how many meetings. Hasn't he only done a handful of meetings this and last year so would they count for conversion? If so every EL club will be chasing him. Where that been confirmed?
  14. Hands up. I do. Rather a shouty than a monotone bore that we have seen before.
  15. Makes no difference to what average he might come in on if he wanted to tho given he is a proven world class rider. The most important thing.
  16. I'm not convinced they are. They have already trialed them with favourable reviews from the promoters, several of which have commented that there are to be big changes in 2017. I prefer the 7 man team formula because you usually get reserves being important but more importantly you get a chance to watch a younger, less experienced rider progess in the sport from the number 7 spot. You don't get that in previous attempts at 6 man teams. I fully expect 6 man teams next season.
  17. That's just semantics as far as I'm concerned. His form in other countries alone indicate it can't be as low as 7 GP rider or not. He qualified for 2017 GP in 2016 did he not?
  18. I think it's common knowledge that next year's teams are expected to be 6 man not 7.
  19. 7.00 although I believe they used his previous time with Poole as a bench mark too. Piotr was a young kid still riding in reserve in Poland when he rode for Wolves in 2014. Dudek is an established rider in all other leagues and it used to be 8.00 assessed rider if I remember correct. That seems fair, like I said previously anything less than 7.50 is just plain wrong as he clearly is good enough to warrant that sort of assessment. Dudek IS a GP rider, as he has already qualified.
  20. Yet another thread on the same thing. No one wins nothing by finishing top of the league, other than the right to pick their opponent.
