  1. So would I but they won't be this weak again.
  2. Outside of speedway nobody knows who Bomber, Crump, Rickardsson,Adams or Nicki P are So you're point? I take it you have one? ? Bomber has signed 3 young riders to team Harris and he gets cheap labour from them on match days. I'm sure that's a great help. Not. Young riders aspire to be the best, the world champion. They don't aspire to be someone who struggles in the GP's. At least we have a superb role model who would get all the GP boys back in the EL if they listened to his wise words, so it's the governing bodies fault Tai doesn't ride here and shame on them allowing our top flight to be so low down the pecking order in Europe.
  3. Is there a better time for any team to travel to title favourites Poole on Wednesday? Hugely decimated we should be targeting all 4 points and I believe we can do it. Poole with there backs against the walls on this one so we may see a completely different fighting animal to the ones that limped at Monmore on Monday. If we don't win then I can't see any team coming away with anything all season as that is what everyone thought before the season started. The depleted title favourites versus the in form Wolves - surely if can only be one result? 41-51
  4. the same Tai who is running training schools in the UK and trying to drag the BSPA into the real world you mean? Thank god somebody cares about its future and we have Tai to thank for that. Or just shows him up as the arrogant oaf he really is I'd say So you keep saying however his dedication to winning 2 titles in be 3 years , trying to get the BSPA to listen to what ALL the top riders want and need and now also running training schools over here proves you wrong everytime. I don't see Bomber or Scottie doing that. That's what a true Brit does, hopefully he will get honoured at the end of the season as well. if we had more like Tai looking towards the future we might be in a much better place by now. Instead we have Scottie who can't be bothered to ride in the WC but now will make a comeback probably now the WC is in the country. What a hypocrite if he does. If more riders were open like Tai we would have a better WC team by now.
  5. The Aussies do exactly the same in their national title. Do you actually have a point before I lose the will.
  6. I think it's fair too for ALL EDR riders that move up.
  7. With Lakeside losing top spot in the league they need something out this meeting unless they might start slipping away. I reckon the Hammers will take a losing point tho. Unless Swindon have really turned a corner which we have a glimpse in the past couple of matches.
  8. Why does it? Nicki P has or had a house in Stevenage i believe but that made no difference to him racing in the UK. Fail to see the relevance.
  9. They should yes. Tai doesn't ride here so by the same theory he doesn't have to either. Good that we can agree on something.
  10. The expected and predictable retort. Where are all the Aussies for their National title, no show for the Ben fund meeting. Thank god we have such a great role model who is setting up training schools to help the BRITISH youngsters - on top of all his great charity work. All the other top riders could learn a lot from our great talent. One day the BSPA will listen to him and the top boys and change to get them back. No doubt Tai will lead the way with that too.
  11. Oops, I meant to add it was the obvious blue blinded ones and the troll.
  12. They WERE a list of riders that potentially would ride here. Good luck with finding a meaningful list of riders waiting for a call.
  13. No issue to me, you come across far worse so I can live with that. Don't forget to attack our great British world champion again tho to prove my point.
  14. There is a list! If was announced prior to the start of the season. Whether any of them are interested however remains a valid point!
  15. Excellent summary of the current predicament. Whatever changes you make to the 1-5 will always see you having the 2 weakest reserves and reserves help you win regardless what the top 5 do.
  16. Correct, hopefully you give noddy as much stick for not bothering to compete in the Aussie championships. Wonder which country our great World Champion has on his passport. He wouldn't want to ride for Poole with such anti fans.
  17. Quite possibly, I'm sure all the supposed 'nice' riders have off days. Including Woffy which was the point I was trying to make to the Tai troll poster Robert72.
  18. I'm not disputing that, however last year was pretty similar racing wise. It is certainly a question I will ask at the end of season talk in tho! That was correct. Kurtz was comfortably clear when his bike suddenly stopped just coming out the 3rd bend and fell. Max then had the time to catch him. Besides one ride (in heat 12) he was completely out his depth.
  19. Can see a big difference if people are rammed into the home straight (like tonight) at Wolves against a few dotted throughout at Brandon. Interestingly the Bees official line is a big crowd, yet reports on here are poor. Someone is lying.
  20. As someone that publicly states the racing is the most important thing I'd say he has to be aware.
  21. That's good to hear. Guess Briggo is just rude to the average fan. What Hans has achieved was superb , Tai is still achieving and could go down as one of the all time greats in years to come also. What a pleasant guy and role model to youngsters too.
  22. It is and it isn't usually a problem. Doc is often there early Monday working on the track all day, that's why we have been voted best race track several times in the most recent seasons so the issue isn't the greyhounds. The 2 matches so far this season have been lacking in the usual high quality we have come to expect and I'd rather we win by 2 and have a great track than the runaway wins with minimal passing.
  23. I am used to reading stupid posts , they are 90% yours. How do you know both of those are 'nice' people? Have you meet them? Briggo comes across as odious to me at times. And yes I spoke to him once and was completely disinterested. Whereas Tai was superb. He always misses the point, but at least it's good comedy.
  24. Expected result well done to the Robins. Let's see if they can live with the better teams later in the season. It comes to something when Coventry make Leicester look good. Besides Harris dreadful all the way thru. Although the reserves scores tonight should have seen the Bees win if the rest were up to the task.
  25. Poole are still favourites as well you know , nothing has changed. However whilst I expected us to win nobody would have said that kind of thumping. The pirates were gating but just being outsmarted time and time again. The track proved tricky got the first 4 heats and provably just a little too loose and deep. Some Poole riders should hang their heads in shame for giving little effort as there was a good smattering of Poole fans they let down badly. Not a classic meeting by any stretch with some races well spread out. But a big bank holiday crowd will have seen just how good Wolves are this season and to thump the champions and favourites was a nice bonus. After the first 3 heats I thought we had a battle on our hands for a change however that challenge folded mid way thru, in particular giving a TR to Watt's poor replacement - how we chuckled. hope Adam is ok as that was a nasty tumble. Lovely chatting to a couple over from Brisbane and tonight was their first British track hopefully it didn't disappoint. Good friends of Darcy's dad George. WOLVES (table toppers) FRED - a decent night for Fred, although took 2 heats to warm up. 3/5 SAM - another solid night for Sam, don't expect a maximum every week but for me was one of the most underrated signings in the EL. 3.5/5 MIKKEL - either poor or decent, can see him spending time at reserve soon. Yet to really impress. 2/5 JACOB - dropped a solitary point to Hans. Quick and assured and much more dangerous in a second string role. 4.5/5 JOONAS - certainly loves exploiting the many passing lines although not as prolific paid ten is still a great score all the same. 2.5/5 MAX - mostly out his depth at this level although a great effort to hold 3rd in Heat 12 saw him lose it at the chequered flag. 1/5 KYLE - excellent night for the top reserve in the EL. Surely he will move up now after 4 matches? When? Beat Pedersen, Buczk to boot. 4.5/5 MOTM POOLE (title favourites) Holder - one race he gated and won well , the others not even bothered. A disgrace for a GP rider. 1/5 Buczkowski - put in some effort at least and won heat 1 well. 2/5 ELLIS - impressed. Very assured riding and gating in his 3 heats. Hopefully he is ok after his akward spill 3/5 Pedersen - what's the point. I'd say dreadful but that flatters him a little. 0/5 Andersen - superb. Fast and chasing when behind. A pirate with pride (a rarity tonight) 4.5/5 Kurtz - unlucky in heat 5 so would have scored more. Certainly tried although besides one heat was owned by the Wolves top reserve. 2.5/5 Kerr - was never going to do what Kyle is capable of but was beyond ordinary all the same. 0.5/5
