  1. Garrity didn't want to be a draft rider so it's irrelevant. I'm sure Cov tried to convince him to stay there but why should he if he feels he is ready to move up? Cov were unlucky because they had little option once they protected Sarj and it's unfair to lay the blame at Garrity's door for Cov's team building. Off all the fast trackers I admire Garrity the most for moving up.
  2. No he isn't. He us doing what all the other top riders are doing. Why should he be any different? Because he is British? ? If the sport used him as a figurehead they could push the sport better but instead they bury their heads in the sand and ignore the obvious. The BSPA are badly advised, Tai is perfectly advised. He is still achieving his dreams and goals.
  3. It doesn't read that he will be around all season but only ones that suit. Not sure how the Stars can plan around this unless they sign another rider to share with him - that wouldn't include Troy tho who I assume is part of a re-structering.
  4. Good point. However it would still make a mockery of their inflated averages due to having easier (than heat leaders) rides. I would like to think that there is a long term plan to assist these successful EDR'S progress next year but I know it will be another farcical decision like using the PL averages again. Hopefully they will make a rule that a British EDR must start in the 1-5 next season.
  5. You have every right to think what you like about Tai. However I won't agree with you that he is an arrogant idiot. Plus it's a strong opinion IMHO. Like I said confident yes, the rest is earned .
  6. I wonder who the current world champion is and how long it's been since dirty Nicki won a title? Sorted,
  7. If Kyle is missing then I can't think of an equal guest or EDR that is suitable. So it would definetly weaken Poole.
  8. you say arrogant idiot (what was that I saw you telling Gavan about name calling?) And I say confident young man. You are no more right than me. So I too will leave it there. exactly, who can put a package together that doesn't include his parent club? If he did ride in the EL it would have been for Wolves because I can't see Adams allowing him to go out on loan. He at least does have loyalty to Wolves in the EL when he chooses to ride here. well said. You are correct. Nicki is in a different class to Tai - it's one that is below Tai. Tai has had him in his back pocket for a while now.
  9. Many said that about ward. Truth is as a double world champion he has nothing to prove and has earned the right to be a confident young man. Yet more speculation being lauded as fact and yet the same sheep jump to believe. Says it all.
  10. Wrong yet again. British speedway is under achieving as none of the riders have been household names in years. Another attack that's shown up for lack of insight. Next you will be saying he has underachieved under Peter Adams. It's a shame you're posts lack any credibility.
  11. May 1st best when the restriction on heat leaders is lifted?
  12. He did add with a couple of changes things should be good, either a clue or a hope!
  13. Troy Batchelor confirmed he is back 18th May. Just confirmed on sky.
  14. Looks like past riders might be past their best in more ways than one. Confirmed tonight on SKY that Belle Vue have been given the green light. Oh well, hopefully lunch was better than the gossip.
  15. You clearly don't read my posts. There is no bigger critic of Tai than me. I gave him a hard time after letting Wolves down in 2014, don't agree that he isn't riding in the British Final and think he should pick EL over say Sweden. Unlike you I can see a bigger picture with Tai and British Speedway. Nothing Tai does would please you as you are a clear Tai hater. I'm happy to be able to see the bigger picture, something you fail to be capable of. Plus it's laughable that you say I make excuses for Tai, just goes to show you know very little.
  16. If this lunch involved no nothings who claim to know something via gossip (which seems about 95% assumption anyway) then it's hardly something to be concerned about.
  17. We don't have a good PR person and if we did and the sport was run professionally then Tai (and other top riders) might still be here. You need to switch your anger to those running it not any one rider as you now have a good explanation why Tai and the rest don't ride here. My guess is you're comeback will be anti Tai however, predictably I may add. Just remember we DON'T have a good PR person as you suggest so it makes his reason for not riding here a logical one - using you're example of course.
  18. But you can't re-introduce a sacked rider until a month later. Which is fair.
  19. Of course there were picks. Not all riders are assets of EL clubs so there had to be some picks.
  20. British speedway is in a mess and the BSPA aren't helping.
