  1. Rarely shown signs of a class act in the EL. Swindon look like joining Poole and the Aces as stand out teams so far.
  2. ?? I most certainly was not jumping on you so hope that doesn't include me. I agreed with you that Poole don't look as strong next season. My only added point was that none of the teams look that strong next season. It's most certainly not jumping on you if you have read it that way you are very wrong.
  3. Assuming averages have anything to do with the list! At least you have confirmed what I thought I had read all along that Sarj was on tier 1 list.
  4. CVS said he couldn't take the risk with Ash not having any other deals in place. Still odd because as our asset we have priority anyway.
  5. I'd have preferred Ash to be honest. Clegg certainly made better progress this year but still believe he is one of the weakest tier riders.
  6. He won't. CVS has already said he wouldn't pick Bates because he doesn't want 2 reserves racing on the same night.
  7. Can't see how they could just add a rider now who would have been picked first by most teams. It makes a mockery of the whole system. Kings Lynn can change their race night if they so wish but the BSPA can't make a mockery of the rules to suit and accommodate their needs. If moving their race night has messed up there situation is reserve then that's there problem and there are others riders still on the list not yet picked. It's simply not fair to add a much better rider to just suit one club and would be scandalous if that's what happens. Seems odd that Kings Lynn didn't just change there race night at the AGM!
  8. That's a different matter if MH has already said so. I missed that announcement , got a link to it?
  9. Yes I know and agree with you. The EL as a whole looks fairly average was my only opinion. Only a complete numpty would write off Poole. It shows just how poor the standard is tho for 2016 when Poole look weaker than this year but are one of 2 standout teams so far.
  10. Touchy. I didn't say that is what you were saying at all. I said on paper most sides look average so far, that is and was just my opinion. No idea why you are trying to turn my opinion into something that it isn't. It's just general conversation, please don't make it into something it isn't OK?
  11. In truth most of the sides look average on paper.
  12. Disagree. However it's true none of us really know for sure.
  13. I read it properly. I'm surprised that Lynn picked Kerr given they were considering a change of night. Unless of course they weren't expecting him to sign for a Thursday track. It seems the likely other Danes are someone like Bjarne, mads or Michelsen with only the latter being anywhere near worth being happy about.
  14. No one is asking the PL to change, the EL is changing . We are trying to address issues that need sorting out not to help the PL thev PL has its own issues. How long did it take them to embrace helping out the future? ?Bet they were pushed into having a 3 pointer at reserve, instead of rubbish foreigners on low averages because they are in truth rubbish. The PL should sort it's own issues out.
  15. It's just getting worse for the Stars. No idea why they signed Kerr if the plan was to switch to Thursday , seems total madness. However at least we know that the EL is likely to fall in line with the rest of Europe and try ensure we give the top boys what they want. Hopefully it's a sign the EL is starting to recover and bring strength back to it. If it means we have to change our speedway habits so be it.
  16. Disagree . Poole have a weaker line up whilst the aces look pretty similar. Both look well ahead of the pack so far but the aces have the edge.
  17. I haven't seen anywhere that sarj is tier 2. Bates was picked from tier 2. Which I'm sure will become clear once the list is released.
  18. He was picked first. Team picked from tier one first.
  19. I haven't seen that printed anywhere, only that the tier 2 riders stay at reserve. Cov picked Sarj first as their tier 1. Averages are irrelevant. Steve Worrall as tier 1 starts at reserve for the Aces whilst his brother in the main team, Steve has a higher average.
  20. Wrong. Higher average is irrelevant. Sarj tier 1, bates tier 2.
  21. Sarj was tier 1, bates tier 2. Averages are irrelevant.
  22. And in others news Leicester start making signings.
  23. And you know that isn't true as the usual suspect still bangs on about him. Good to see he finished 2014 (part season as usual) with a 6.52 average. Makes him as poor standard rider if we use Freddie and Hans as examples this year. Shame if those rumours are true, for the Stars anyway. He needs to step it up again tho because he has quickly become a poor man's Kildemand.
