  1. I'd have preferred PK to Jacob personally. That's only because I think my Peter would be better value. That said I'm all about giving youth a chance so it looks like a make or break year for Jacob.
  2. That's the spirit. Keep telling yourself Coventry have a proper number one. I give it 3 months till he is sacked again. Harris and Garrity the only pluses for Coventry. The rest is awful. Rather our 1-7 in comparison. Lindgren will probably outscore KK, so I'm not concerned.
  3. Coventry look like they will need to tho, including getting a decent number one.
  4. DH has already said it won't be any other night than Saturday.
  5. Not sure they look good enough to even fight! However until we see ALL the teams line ups it's hard to assume just who else might struggle. So far Cov and Wolves are the only completed announced side that we can judge. Possibly , let's see them complete first tho!
  6. You missed out Coventry, who have a dreadful side.
  7. Agree, not gobsmacked by the news, that said the team has potential and is a step forward on 2015. It could be worse, we could have a dreadful side like Coventry. Keep telling yourself that Coventry have the edge. You have to hope that Leicester and Kings Lynn stop you getting the wooden spoon. The joys! Not strong on paper but potential all the way thru, Joonas exempt. Good to see you crowing after one good season in a blue moon.
  8. Personally speaking I can't see why CVS would have shared that bit of information if it wasn't true, particularly given he batted off other questions about the secrecy of the list, plus it's in the public domain. I agree that only publication of the list will confirm information for us all. So will if the money is right.
  9. We know only 18 from this season are on it, that's the only thing confirmed. But yea I agree. King, like Watt are of a similar ability right now. Again, how do you judge that? Well we know that the promoters themselves voted who is and isn't on the list. So no one can blame anyone of the promoters for the list being their fault.
  10. The return of the stalker. At least I know I'm in for a laugh. Someone tell this poster who is the regular updater at wolves. Don't forget to tell everyone what I'm doing on Facebook too.
  11. I suppose him saying he was happy at wolves is a lie tho. Thought not.
  12. Personally speaking I think it's one of their better ideas. Hopefully between the 2 shared riders a suitable arrangement could be reached. I'd rather this than a further weakening year on year.
  13. In fairness I think a lot of us questioned his commitment when he was announced as a signing due to his lack of commitment with other clubs. To be honest given his other commitments I expected tons of clashes and problems but in fairness to him other than the odd missed meeting he was a pleasure right up to him missing a couple of meetings before he was sacked. Others may see it different however I saw many wolves fans saying he was our rider of the year even tho he was sacked. Says it all really his poor the rest were, woffy included.
  14. Even if they had started first day end of season I doubt it would be ready!
  15. That seems the assumption, however I have read that there are no plans to use the abbey as there is confidence in the new track being ready (think that was an interview given prior to the finale meeting).
  16. In all honesty someone like Madsen should be in the HL list I agree but then so should Buzz!! Only 6.50 been mentioned as any yard stick so far. Clearly riders on less than 6.50 are already proving to be a grey area.
  17. Lakeside seem to have ongoing issues which seem okay in the short term so far. Swindon have the abbey as back up but have seen no concerns about their long term future. Coventry doesn't appear a concern for 2017 with Leicester offering the track. 2018 onwards maybe.
  18. Shamek WILL be on the HL list, it's already been declared riders over 6.50 who didn't ride here in we 15th will automatically join it. Yes it is. It's 6.50 not 6.00.
  19. Which teams? Coventry are planning to run at Leicester when they close Brandon. Who else has expressed doubt already?
  20. I doubt CVS would think that at all. He has said many times that Wolves will always be in the top flight whilst he is promoting. Music to my ears.
  21. No worse than your 'shamek told me his brother won't ride for a Monday track again ' yarn!
  22. Looking how long it's taken for Belle Vue to get up and ready it would be a miracle if Swindon have a new track in 2016. The lack of information from the Swindon promotion is baffling, particularly given they have already stated that the farewell meeting is the last one to be staged at the Abbey. They will be running another one the end of 2016 at this rate.
  23. well we can only hope! Did he? Got the link for this?? I think Tai is saying what Greg, Nicki et Al have been saying for years . SAME NIGHT RACING. Don't think any of the boys mentioned what night would be best. Why is it? The top boys are all saying the same thing. Poland and Sweden have a reduced league programme which is clearly the way forward and works perfectly. Crowds are decent but then so are team strengths , it's not rocket science. These top boys aren't holding us to ransom, they don't need that many meetings here as they entitled to do. If we seriously want a league with any credibility then the top boys need to be here. We need them here. If we want to carry on with a reduced strength league and do nothing then people need to stop bleating about how poor the EL is and ditch it. Then the powers that be can have one big league with more fans disappearing and any chance of a future well and truly dead. Thank god the promoters are looking at a job share for 2017. And hopefully the start of making the EL ELITE again.
  24. With the fans he was a huge hit. Up until his polish club and commitments came calling he was excellent for Wolves. If he wanted to come back to the EL, it would likely be with his parent club and almost certainly not a Saturday track!
