Lakeside seem to have ongoing issues which seem okay in the short term so far. Swindon have the abbey as back up but have seen no concerns about their long term future. Coventry doesn't appear a concern for 2017 with Leicester offering the track. 2018 onwards maybe.
-
Shamek WILL be on the HL list, it's already been declared riders over 6.50 who didn't ride here in we 15th will automatically join it. Yes it is. It's 6.50 not 6.00.
-
Which teams? Coventry are planning to run at Leicester when they close Brandon. Who else has expressed doubt already?
-
I doubt CVS would think that at all. He has said many times that Wolves will always be in the top flight whilst he is promoting. Music to my ears.
-
No worse than your 'shamek told me his brother won't ride for a Monday track again ' yarn!
-
Looking how long it's taken for Belle Vue to get up and ready it would be a miracle if Swindon have a new track in 2016. The lack of information from the Swindon promotion is baffling, particularly given they have already stated that the farewell meeting is the last one to be staged at the Abbey. They will be running another one the end of 2016 at this rate.

well we can only hope! Did he? Got the link for this?? I think Tai is saying what Greg, Nicki et Al have been saying for years . SAME NIGHT RACING. Don't think any of the boys mentioned what night would be best. Why is it? The top boys are all saying the same thing. Poland and Sweden have a reduced league programme which is clearly the way forward and works perfectly. Crowds are decent but then so are team strengths , it's not rocket science. These top boys aren't holding us to ransom, they don't need that many meetings here as they entitled to do. If we seriously want a league with any credibility then the top boys need to be here. We need them here. If we want to carry on with a reduced strength league and do nothing then people need to stop bleating about how poor the EL is and ditch it. Then the powers that be can have one big league with more fans disappearing and any chance of a future well and truly dead. Thank god the promoters are looking at a job share for 2017. And hopefully the start of making the EL ELITE again.
-
With the fans he was a huge hit. Up until his polish club and commitments came calling he was excellent for Wolves. If he wanted to come back to the EL, it would likely be with his parent club and almost certainly not a Saturday track!
-
That rumour has been going around for a while irregardless of Leicester. Personally I don't see him being part of the last 2 riders we are meant to be 'gobsmacked' by. I expect Jacob to be back as that was hinted at so I doubt Masters would gobsmack anyone. Personally speaking I'd be happy with masters over Jacob, so long as there are no PL fixture clashes.

Not seen a statement confirming from bees, other than the one I quoted with riders seemingly in average order. Not that that confirms it it really can't be anything else.
-
Some riders have been declared as heat leaders, assuming the promotions know what they are doing! As far as bees go if you check the team from the statement below I believe it's in average order. For king not to be a heat leader one of Garrity or Woryna will have to be. http://www.coventrybees.co/news.php?extend.3404
-
The fault is that Buzz SHOULD meet the criteria and the only odd thing is that he isn't classed as a heat leader. Last time Lindback rode here he averaged less than 5, would the promoters not class him as a HL too? The fault lies with the promoters not Poole.
-
What is clear is that CVS, MF, etc couldn't care less about the fans knowing who is in the list.
-
Only the promotions know the list, however CVS has already confirmed that there are 18 from this season on it. He should know.
-
8th I hope ;-))
-
Sorry, no it wasn't. CVS confirmed 18 names from this season are on it and not all teams will have 3.
-
No Deal has been done. PK isn't even in Wolves teams plans right now and will probably skip Britain. PK, like Buzz should be on any heat leader list. End of.
-
Think the dispute is whether Buzz was assessed as a heat leader or not by the promoters.if he isn't then they have lost the plot. It's not an anti Poole post Skidder1, if they have ALL made the decision (CVS stated they all virtually agreed on who should go on the list) then something is really wrong. It's the averages they start on that will determine what race position they are in so I doubt think Poole have pulled any stunt. It's an odd thing if Buzz hasn't been added to the HL list. All that said IF he starts the season in a heat leader position is there really a problem?
-
If he is in the top 3 of the averages he will be in a heat leader role anyway.
-
Cov reserves on paper are weak, that's true. However Bates progressed this season both EL and PL so more to come IMHO. He would have been back with Wolves if their wasn't fixture clashes, CVS confirmed that. Sarjeant at times was as good an any other reserve but he will have a lot more responsibility next season. With younger riders the potential for massive improvement or flopping is huge.
-
certainly is confusing. He was either signed off the heat leader list or he wasn't . And if he wasn't on it then it's totally absurd. starting as a heat leader Only goes by average .If he is in the top 3 averages for Poole then he will start as a heat leader. Without this HL list no one knows! With regards Chris, I'm sure it's a formality. He is already listed as one of the GP boys riding in the EL in this week's speedway star. FB, they did. The link is still there that confirms it. Hans is on the heat leader list and if he is 4th in the starting averages then will start season as second string.
-
I agree with your assessment on THJ, however if he wanted to ride here next season he should be on the HL list, no question.
-
agree it does seem odd and makes a mockery of the previous announcement put out by Poole saying he was being signed as HL. more common sense that Hans is on the list as he should be whilst someone like Peter Karlsson has, like Buzz, been wrongly assessed as second string. Partially true. Riders not ridden EL in 2015 or others wanting to join the league as heat leader automatically get added to the HL list. If Shamek is 6.5 or over then he will be a heat leader and rightly so. The HL list dictates only who can be signed from it, averages will dictate what riding positions they race in, which to me makes more of a mockery than the list itself!
