  1. what, that he needs the EL??? if he wanted to come back I'd imagine if would be with Wolves yea. Well it's clear he doesn't want to ride for Poole so that's one good thing.
  2. Doubt he is interested in the EL anymore, otherwise he would be back with his parent club.
  3. From the perspective of alternate Mondays I'd imagine a statement is imminent. I agree it's been a talking point for some for a while however we hardly have weekly speedway as it is so it's just the usual posturing by some . My only slight concern is if there are extra Mondays to be slotted in due to bad weather etc but so long as it's clear wolves have priority it shouldn't be an issue. So I'd hope any statement assures us of that.
  4. Just why do Wolves need to put out any official statement about Cradley? ? It's between Ladbrookes and Cradley. Little surprised that Cradley are running on a Monday tho, just hope that doesn't backfire on Wolves as clearly CVS is thinking with his heart on this one. As far as I'm concerned Wolves have seniority over fixtures so if there are issues with not enough Mondays then Cradley will have to give way or move to alternative days. Cradley coming back shouldn't have any effect on our home meetings.
  5. I think we will, eventually! And we are likely to have a situation where riders on lower averages riding in the heat leader roles still!
  6. Decent signing, fixture clashes permitted. Always thought he could do a decent job. Much more inspiring than Batch who no team hopes they sign !
  7. Until we see who is on the heat leader list then it's all just speculation.
  8. scottie is still a heat leader, I'd be astonished if he wasn't on the heat leader list. Never has, and likely never will. A user of the EL when it suits. Has always been a mediocre rider in this country anyway.
  9. Ah, they were the unlucky ones. Commiserations.
  10. It's clear you have the issue with me. Your best bet is to take a piece of your own advice and put me on ignore if you don't like reading my posts. It's pretty simple and easy. You were trying to make an issue of 5.53 being 'almost' 6 when in speedway terms there is quite a difference between 6 and 5.53 when team building. It's assumed anyway that kyle is using his PL average but if not then his EL average is much better at mid 5.5 than 'almost' 6. However if you prefer to not have a pedantic reply best not make one yourself. Moving on.
  11. I cannot believe anyone could call Leicester a poor stadium. It's outstanding for what has been achieved in a short time.
  12. Yet he was only saying in this week's speedway star he fears his average is too high for the EL.So that's one less track he has to convince.
  13. That's the point woz01, since when do we round up averages to the nearest point? If his average was 'almost 6' (which in pedantic terms I'd take as 5.90) I doubt anyone would want to sign him (on EL average). No surprise that some choose to try point score over something mundane.
  14. As far as the points limit goes then .47 can make all the difference. But probably best to just round it to the nearest number eh?
  15. Of course he will be on the heat leader list. It would be cheating if he wasn't. A poor year doesn't mean he should drop to second string. It's the same point for Lindgren, his average is low enough like Andersen but are heat leaders in this pathetically weak league.
  16. Must admit I thought it was 7.96/7.something around that figure. Still about 2 or 3 points too high on current or EL form.
  17. no idea, don't do the guessìng game. I'm sure most teams will IMHO. Where is that official? ? Think it's just speculation right now, although I expect that to be the case as well.
  18. I agree. The promoters work out the limits with the riders they know are likely to ride (and are probably mostly declared) and the averages they are all carrying so they have pretty much worked out what the limit needs to be.
  19. but we are talking about the 2016 team, hence the title of the thread.
  20. Perhaps when riders are signed you can make such a comment. As proved by the signing of Joonas today it might not be a side of assets. Decent signing but I'll be happier when we have signed a few more at the top end.
  21. They change every 4 meetings, so if they good enough then they will move up anyway!
