  1. Yet he was only saying in this week's speedway star he fears his average is too high for the EL.So that's one less track he has to convince.
  2. That's the point woz01, since when do we round up averages to the nearest point? If his average was 'almost 6' (which in pedantic terms I'd take as 5.90) I doubt anyone would want to sign him (on EL average). No surprise that some choose to try point score over something mundane.
  3. As far as the points limit goes then .47 can make all the difference. But probably best to just round it to the nearest number eh?
  4. Of course he will be on the heat leader list. It would be cheating if he wasn't. A poor year doesn't mean he should drop to second string. It's the same point for Lindgren, his average is low enough like Andersen but are heat leaders in this pathetically weak league.
  5. Must admit I thought it was 7.96/7.something around that figure. Still about 2 or 3 points too high on current or EL form.
  6. no idea, don't do the guessìng game. I'm sure most teams will IMHO. Where is that official? ? Think it's just speculation right now, although I expect that to be the case as well.
  7. I agree. The promoters work out the limits with the riders they know are likely to ride (and are probably mostly declared) and the averages they are all carrying so they have pretty much worked out what the limit needs to be.
  8. but we are talking about the 2016 team, hence the title of the thread.
  9. Perhaps when riders are signed you can make such a comment. As proved by the signing of Joonas today it might not be a side of assets. Decent signing but I'll be happier when we have signed a few more at the top end.
  10. They change every 4 meetings, so if they good enough then they will move up anyway!
  11. We will have to agree to disagree then. Basing on from start of the season to the end of the season he added 2 points to his starting average in PL and was 9th best draft rider. Improvement in anybodies eyes as far as I'm concerned.
  12. no doubt he perfectly understood why. It was clear his loyalties were elsewhere at that point. Not the way I read it. "Top flight clubs will continue to track two draft riders – starting the season at reserve – but they will be given averages after four meetings which gives them the chance to move into the top five." Keep dreaming of him being a Pirate one day, you just keep believing it might happen.
  13. They did/do, they haven't so point is irrelevant anyway.
  14. He was more than settled at Wolves, he could only be bothered to do a handful of matches with your lot. If Chapman gets his way then we could be heading for same day or 2 day racing for EL. That might help our great Pole come back to where he belongs in the Midlands. Happy days. No, both riders get averages. Re-read to check that.
  15. Hopefully if Piotr comes back in the near future if will be with his parent club.
  16. Who Sarjeant? The same rider who improved in the PL and did a superb job at number 7 in the EL??
  17. Looking at the speedway star averages for the whole season sarjeant finished 9th of the draft riders so can see why he was moved to tier 1.
  18. So not 2 tier 2's as previously mentioned. Don't see any issue with sarjeant being a tier 1 this year. Bates progressed quite a bit this year, I'm a little saddened he won't be back. You have a promising kid to watch this year.
  19. Think sedgmen could do a job in the EL, although he wouldn't have the luxury of starting at reserve.
  20. Where is the list that confirms that? Are far as I'm aware it hasn't been published?
  21. You gotta feel sorry for Coventry, seeing as they had 2 years of Garrity at reserve - NOT.
  22. No surprise Poole get best from both Tiers.
