  1. Music to my ears. Couldn't bear the thought of the most hated rider pulling on a Wolves jacket.
  2. I agree, no one should be safe until we have a rider capable of doing a number ones job.Part of me does wonder if the management are already investing in Joel Andersson for next season. On a 6.5 average he is too big a gamble and as a likely heat leader. Not sure he is any further forward in his career than Jacob is.
  3. It's not real rocket science. It's maximising the points limit to the full that makes it logic. Given that no one is signed and no idea what points would be left it's all surmise at this stage anyway. As a club asset it makes more logic to use you're own asset , obviously points limit allowing.
  4. And if both become heat leaders they will both struggle. The only sense it might make would be for team building with Barker on the lower average. However both a second strings are decent bets.
  5. Ben has a lower starting average that's true but doubt there would be much difference come end of 2016 so the opinion then becomes subjective.
  6. Exactly. And if he did it's common knowledge it would be with Wolves.
  7. As a second string it's a no brainer. barker could still do a job (as you're example) but both would struggle as heat leader. So if it come to them both upping their averages to become heat leader it's Jacob for me also.
  8. None of us would be upset, it won't happen. If he could be bothered to ride here it would be for Wolves. But he isn't interested anyway.
  9. That's assuming we can sign anyone that has a higher average!
  10. Aaah, makes more sense. I suppose it depends on the sensitivity of the individual affected and of course the employer!
  11. Of which you have no knowledge so has no validity. Someone who has to remain in hospital is by definition incapable of doing their job.
  12. You call it 'guff', I call it reality. In your opinion why is it NOT LIFE CHANGING as you have such a strong opinion I would like to hear you're reasoning. What do I honestly think is wrong with him? ? It's very hard to assume without any real facts but such a lengthy stay in hospital indicates 'life changing'. Possible nerve damage, detachment of nerve or structure, major ligament damage. All these indicate a life changing injury AND a lengthy stay in hospital.
  13. In the real world of medicine (which I know extremely well from an educated point of view) nothing is ever really that clear cut. In reference to the length of stay for Dak's dad in hospital there must be an assumption that there is a life changing element to his injury. That is only by piecing together some of the information that we know or assume to be true. We don't know any true relevance of Dak's dad's injury so that's a sweeping statement to make. ANY length of stay in hospital is in itself life changing.
  14. You don't wear a identity band for a check up. Keep grabbing at straws tho.
  15. And if man who breaks leg has complications that results in a length stay? Example (true story) Diabetes is usually a well controlled issue that may require a short time in hospital to stabilise. One man in his 30's is currently in hospital for his 2nd month due to serious stability issues. Point - ANY medical issue/health related problem can cause a 'long stay in hospital'. The length of stay can indicate the seriousness of that particular issue. So your example of a black and white case tells a very small point. Length of stay is often associated with serious ongoing problems.
  16. Depends on your definition of long term hospitalisation. So sorry but I'm right.
  17. I agree with you on the changes part. Should and could have been a game changer.
  18. Lead the league for a huge chunk of the season and finished top 2 in league table. Pretty good in most people's eyes.
