  1. It might have helped if he continued bringing over the engine he used in the British final, because after taking 2 rides to sort the set up he looked much quicker than he did all season long on his normal UK set up.
  2. and what did Poole gain exactly? ? They were going to easily see off Coventry even with Dak (who it's suggested was out of form). he scored 13 in 2 legs in the final which was as crucial as any of the other Poole riders points. Poole gained nothing, plus Dak was obviously worried about his dad.
  3. More teams the better! A stronger EL would be good too!
  4. We saw his documentary as well that as good as backed up the local interview. It's a punishing schedule we all get that. However the only thing none of us know is why he was flying in Poland and Sweden but pretty poor in the EL. He was tired ,I get that. However he seemed to have better energy and speed abroad!
  5. This is great news. Delighted for Hammers fans. Plus thankfully we can keep a separate top flight league as well. Did I hear that AJ was confirmed number 1 as well?
  6. What rules and regulations cover for the sudden illness or injury of a riders partner/partner/family member, what justification? It would be awful to penalise a team for 'allegedly' replacing an out off form rider particularly given said rider helped his team win the league by scoring OK in the Play Off Final. It's a joke you couldn't make up.
  7. Careful, you have some on here that believe they know more about his set ups than he does! But yes in the real world it does say equipment. Still waiting for some to come up with a valid reason why he was riding well everywhere else but not EL.
  8. unbelievably for once you say something I completely agree with. How do I know ?? Sky were there covering every angle and interviewing him after virtually every heat. Those were Tai's words not mine. Maybe you didn't get chance to watch the televised meeting before accusing me of not being aware of that info. Maybe you could share what tyre pressure and sprocket size he has previously used successfully at Monmore then?
  9. The only thing that matters is that he has been in hospital for a long time which you wouldn't do for any minor injury /operation so it's clear it's been a serious problem. Good to see both appear happy and continued good luck to Dak's dad on his ongoing recovery. Just waiting for the first person to still question there is anything wrong with him going by the photo alone.
  10. took 2 rides to get the set up sorted. And way quicker than his 2014 set up. As the result showed, won with ease. Happy to differ. I only go by watching him week in week out and seeing him struggle yet in one meeting (the British final) he brings a different engine that, after 2 races of adjustments, flew when it mattered. So why not keep that engine here or use it here as well?? It's clear he had an engine that was at least faster at Monmore once set up changes were made. Like you say I have nothing more to add having watched him all season long I have a point that has been mentioned by several.
  11. He was much quicker which was sadly lacking in a wolves jacket.
  12. Yet he brings over an engine that he gets dialed in within 2 heats of the British so he had something that worked perfectly. Never to be seen in the EL again. That's what doesn't add up.
  13. Freddie didn't say it, Coventry did. Suddenly the engines so used to being used in the EL and getting results suddenly don't work or set ups forgotten/ignored?? He didn't once mention bringing his best engine for the previous British Finals because his preferred EL set ups and engines were strong enough prior to 2014. Something wasn't working in the EL, hence why he brought over one that worked for the final. That engine worked well, so why didn't we see it for other league matches for Wolves?
  14. He struggled early on throughout Europe tho. If was only EL that suffered. Makes you wonder why Jacko wasn't in his crew tho?
  15. Why was he consistently strong from mid season on in Poland, Sweden and quick in GP's but regularly poor in UK. If the British final is a much easier meeting than a league meeting why the need to bring a better engine for it?? If just don't make sense. The format is a bit more punishing these days but more difficult than Sweden/Poland? Tai never looked close to sorting out any issues he had equipment wise in the EL 2014, but we're abroad as his scores improved. More to it than just the formula IMHO.
  16. Where is my evidence?? Really? why did he make the point he was bringing his best engine for the British final if his English equipment was as good? That in itself speaks volumes.
  17. Exactly. We were his lowest priority and on sub standard equipment too. Those are the facts and no need to dress it any other way. It's amazing how suddenly he is linked with coming back to the EL with Poole who can apparently pay him more. It would take a huge shift in fixtures and same day racing to tempt Tai AND the other top boys over they have all made that clear! Fingers crossed for a ground breaking AGM that adressess these issues. However I'm expecting more tinkering and more dumbing down.
  18. Standard reply. I expect he already knows where he is going.
  19. Bit of a mish mash of a field tonight. Andersson was impressive and not at all over-awed by the track. Made a very tidy and committed pass. Palovaara looked useful too. Good to see Freddie looking more the Monmore legend we have missed all season long and Wells was definetly deserved runner up. Karger struggled big time. More like the PL is you mean if those rumours are true. Not that I believe it one bit.
  20. beyond crap, all too often. IF. If he starts the season with wolves I will be finding something else to do with my Mondays. I cannot and will not support an EL user. No idea why he is being mentioned on a Wolves thread. I'd assume, and hope, there is zero chance of him coming to us.
  21. sacked 3 times for lack of effort , and by 3 different clubs, tells a different story. Belle Vue and Poole may have good memories of him but he been at best indifferent everywhere else. I pity any team that employs him next year in the EL if he wants back in. It's common knowledge. Adams has publically stated if Woffy wants to ride elsewhere in the EL he would have to be sold and Adams wouldn't be part of his GP team.Woffy has no reason to ride anywhere other than Wolves in the EL. His issue (like a lot of the top boys) is too many meetings - nothing else.
  22. I can't believe anyone would read the original comment and assume it was about the EL or Poole. like there was a chance it was!
  23. Far be it for me to point out you appeared happy Coventry were closing so Leicester could have Fridays. If that's your bag I don't need to judge you as you do it all by yourself. Just a point , when Brandon closes and if a new site is sourced and track built won't they still, have seniority over Fridays. So until that time any thoughts of getting Fridays appear tasteless IMHO. No reply required, it's just my opinion.
  24. I was laughing at you because you claimed Thomsen is better. I should be surprised you didn't get that but I'm not. It looks silly claiming someone is much better when they too have had poor nights - which was my only original point.
