  1. Sarjeant is not one of the strongest. He is the strongest of the 2nd picks. when you have a rider like Garrity (similar to Blackbird for Wolves) the 2nd reserves scores are just a bonus. It isn't the same thing at all.
  2. No dispute, so it's a 6 point PL guest if Magic picks Poland.
  3. When most of the teams are riding the top graded riders should be able to guest for any of the others.
  4. And you're point? We have a match winning reserve replaced by a vastly inferior standard rider. It's up to your lot to come and win as you won't have a better chance. You are meant to be the better side ain't ya?
  5. With this line up surely its in the best interest of the British Speedway to cancel it anyway!
  6. So he should be replaced. He already has an official league fixture that he has to put first. Poole HAVE priority. There is no dispute on that.
  7. Kerr is the only like for like. And this is just the issue when most teams are riding. There us no adequate replacement. I seriously hope so Yea have just posted on there.
  8. There will never be a better time to get an away win with a terrible replacement for a key reserve and a returning from injury for our Pole (assuming he came thru his match in Poland today?). For us it's a absolute must win to keep in touch of the top 4 because a defeat will as good as put pay to that happening and will need an abundance of away wins to make up. We need all our top 5 winning races and sommat special from Fred and Ricky. I'm fearful now I have seen our guest options but I have to hope it's a 48-42 type win. But hope we send the Robins packing with no points is the best outcome.
  9. James Wright?? I mean James Wright?? Really?? Huge underdogs then, the only saving grace is that Swindon aren't known for away wins thus season. Lindgren had better bounce back with a huge score.
  10. It's happened it the recent past World Cups at Lynn, so what's different?
  11. Hopefully MF will make a stand over this. It's not an official fixture so the rules are clear. If Magic is missing then it's a 6 point PL guest. If a guest is granted we know major fiddling is going on between the BSPA and MF. Hopefully MF will do the right thing.
  12. And of course the PL and NL never have guests. DOH. The league table says different. Perhaps when you catch us up you can make such a claim. Well done on a good victory, however the truth is the Lions have been dire most of the season.
  13. No doubt you will chomping at the bit when Miedzinski returns, and the Robins join Wolves in the bottom 4. ;-)) [quote name="waihekeaces1" post="2622158" timestamp="1433019858" Steve brum - just like last year, getting carried away by early season results. If you sign ward though I reckon you could make the play offs. I had plenty to be optimistic about, a side with potential all the way thru. But you win no matches when your number one scores abysmally - as the Aces, Pirates, Robins have already found out this season.
  14. Just one heat winner from the main team (Wells) tells it's own story.Just when you think PK is having a superb season as well. And just when you think the likes of Holder have past there sell by date, along comes 2 point Lindgren. Angry doesn't even explain it right now.
  15. As it should be. What's the point of having a National stadium if the National events aren't on it.
  16. Let's face it if we can't beat Leicester away and Swindon at home then we deserve to be in the bottom 3. Saying that we are up against Swindon 'no away wins' Robins.
  17. I take it the boys aren't up for it tonight judging by the scores so far. What's the point in me seeing the potential if you can't do the business on the track? Disappointed so far - yes you Lindgren!
  18. Well we do know that a fair few Speedway fans aren't the brightest star in the sky. :-)
  19. We have been that poor we have been in the top 4 most of the season so far.
  20. Make up your mind. We aren't anywhere near a play off place but Leicester is a must win match for our play off hopes????? What I get is that at this stage only Bees, Poole Stars look near nailed on top 4 places come September. To rule out any team (Wolves included ) at the end of May is plain ludicrous. You can put a good argument in for Swindon, Belle Vue and Wolves with 3 months left to fight for a top 4 spot. Although I think any argument in favour of Lakeside or Leicester may be stretching it a little. The next 2 matches may give us a better idea of where we are currently at. However 2 key injuries could have a huge bearing on the short - mid term chances. RR is best for Tobby (yet the management seem happy to go down the inadequate guest route. Blackbird will be a huge miss because whilst Garrity is a like for like replacement Saturday we got away with a inferior replacement (Williamson) last Monday. Against the Robins we must get BOTH replacements right on Monday.
  21. Well done to the Aces in becoming the latest team to win at one of the 2 poorer sides this year. Certainly puts them back in contention.
