  1. You are an insider looking in. It's clear to most neutrals that Poole and cov look stronger than the rest this season. I perhaps over used the invincible word. However any team that stops the Bees not taking away any points will have done well indeed.
  2. You said others teams were strengthened by guests - not on Monday. Be careful as you are starting to sound like Poole fans who often claim they hope for point's whilst everyone else can see you are head and shoulders above other teams this year (other than poole).
  3. I can see Leicester winning this, stars look like they have plenty of issues to sort with the form of several of the riders a real worry. 49-41
  4. It should be a win for the Bees, if Wolves can win their the it should be a stroll for Cov. 42-48
  5. Thankfully the only teams that look like fodder this year, Leicester and Swindon, are In the places now that I see them holding most of the seasons. Of course it's your right to think we are rubbish, however we will take 2nd in the league as a reflection of our good start - and we are still only performing at 70%. It's looking like one of will be in the play offs this year, no doubt you will enjoy watching the matches as a neutral.
  6. Assuming he wants guest bookings of course. With the new averages coming into play next week you won't have that many chances I'd imagine.
  7. [quote name="pointsmeanplayoffs" post="2605769" timestamp="1430215358" Not many teams will beat BV at home once the season is up and running properly.[/quote Probably only Bees and Poole who are way better than most teams this season.
  8. Anyway back in the real world (not the hypothetical one that's already been proven to be rubbish - have you actually looked at the league table yet?) This should be a tight one. Although no doubt we will be made to look foolish because everyone thinks we were rubbish pre season - yet unbeatable In 4. At least Swindon fans still have a sense of humour
  9. The option of using PK may not be available for long. His average is bound to be too high soon.
  10. Bees and Poole look miles apart from the rest. Both beat each other convincingly. I'd be surprised if any team turns either over.
  11. Where did I say that Bees fans said they were invincible? I said they LOOK invincible and results and form so far backs that up.
  12. Think we can pull off another win. Kildemand coming in cold could just work to our favour.
  13. If ifs. If the Bees had king and Harris scoring to their averages you might have nicked a point as well.Musielak, like at lakeside, had one good ride (in his 1st heat this time though ) that made all the difference. If Wells hadn't been knocked off in heat 1 and scored like he did last week we would have won by more. On the night Wolves had a top 2 firing on all cylinders and you had nobody able to compete, yet have managed to win comfortably at 3 other places up to last night. Wolves despite being written off by everyone pre season seem to still be seen as vulnerable despite beating the best team this season. The boys did a grand job as far as I'm concerned.
  14. Can't see the Aces troubling the Pirates too much. 53-39 type score.
  15. I agree, reserves weren't the issue last night - not when you have Garrity who rides like a heat leader at Monmore. As for ref decisions, if you can name me one if those incidents caused by a home rider then you clearly were watching another match! my match reports are mean to be light hearted and a bit of fun. Praise and criticism given in equal measures. Plus there is plenty to crow about by beating our local rivals who look THE team to beat this year. Obviously will have to wait a long time for a match report from rjsj9803 but I sure they would be worth the miss. Talking of posts by a 12 year old - Always good to criticise when you contribute so little relevant information yourself. Papered over the cracks? A team that has won 3 on the bounce, including away at fortress Arena? If beating a team that looks nigh on invincible from heat 1 to finish is 'papering over the cracks ' long may those cracks remain!
  16. A decent meeting ruined by inept referring decisions. Most of the incidents were on the 2nd bend so a decision and exclusion needed . Griffin was clearly a Bees fan in the vast majority of decisions as they got away with plenty tonight. The only 1st bend issues were for Garrity who rightly got caught out for dropping it one too many times. Heat 9 was a sweet one particularly given that Joonas had got away clear before Garrity dropped it to get a rerun. Sometimes, you really get what you deserve! If anything Wolves had the edge all the match which I didn't expect but never too comfortable to breathe easy. Why there was confusion over heat 14 was beyond we. Apparently they needed discussions prior to the heat with light rain and by the time they made a decision it was raining hard. #GETONWITHIT. Bees and Andersen showed their hands in heat 15 by forcing the decision to carry on believing they could nick a win know the final race however fast Fred and PK showed them it was all wishful thinking. WOLVES FRED - untouchable and back to his very best.5/5. Joint MOTM RICKY - big get off in heat 1 (caused by Andersen ) but was much better in his last 2 heats. 3/5 TOBBY - an awesome 1st heat to out smart Bomber but then went backwards after that. 2/5 PK - just one defeat but had already rescued heat 14 just In case the meeting got called. 5/5 JACOB - tried hard but got exposed by a solid visiting outfit. 0.5/5 LEWIS - besides heat 9 had a mare of a match. Yet again his junior partner stepped up but still think he should have been in heat 8. 1.5/5. JOSH - only had to beat Greenwood, which he did 3 out if 3. Also beat Garrity. 3/5. Joint MOTM. BEES Hans - no match for Fred or PK. 2.5/5 Robbo - always good value at the green. 3.5/5. King - a largely quiet night. 1.5/5 Joonas - excellent night and effort. 3.5/5 Bomber - fair effort and scrapped hard in a couple of heats, still not one of his better meetings. 2/5. Garrity - controlled and awesome in his first 2 heats then seemed to try get away with as much as he could. Including 2 jumped starts and a get off to get a recall. He got away with 1 out if 3 and that's 1 too many. 3/5. Greenwood - scored a potentially vital point in heat 12 beating Blackbird. 0.5/5
  17. Sarj has always outscored his counterparts at Wolves. Over shadowed by Garrity tho. Back to normal tonight with the king of presenters back in his rightful place. No issues with the track, bees riders getting into trouble on apex of bend tho.Causing the problems and getting away with. Garrity dropped it twice on entrance to bend 1 and rightfully got excluded for it 2nd time around. Thought Bomber and the Bees could ride the track or do they only moan when losing Speak for yourself. York is beyond banal and dull and can't bear him on the mic at Monmore. Porkie is a legend and best presenter in the biz.
  18. Garrity should be having 5 rides anyway even if Sarj was fit. He is likely to get 12-14 points tomorrow anyway.
  19. Bit difficult to call as the Stars don't look convincing on their travels at so far. Stead missing of course is a big loss for the home side. 48-42
  20. You can't really replace Sarj and none are an adequate option. Hope all is ok with him. No idea what the weather forecast is tho - they have got it completely wrong for this weekend so not taking much notice!
  21. I agree, there has to be a point of progression and there should be a set minimum period they can stay FTR'S, particularly the top graded riders. Next year I would like to see the likes of Garrity, Blackbird, Newman being moved into the main body of the team. It's the only way they will progress IMHO.
  22. The predictable and condescending type of reply I've not missed. Bjerre and WOFFY both had mediocre British league campaigns last season so a 7 point average is not the standard expected of world class riders. So to be aiming to maintain that low standard is well beneath and is short changing the Stars team and supporters. His away scores so far make dismal reading of 2,3, 3. Bjerre is not a 7 point STANDARD rider.Feel free to argue the point, you usually do.
