Poole v Ipswich Play Off Semi 1st leg. 23/9/19

Yep, nothing wrong with his calls at all. Leave Sarj in heat 9 when 12 up. Allen would be needed later on. As it happens a truly crazy turnaround. When the track has rain on it it always favours the away side to start with. Poole yet again proving they can never be written off in the play offs, must be favourites as well. -
I totally agree with you, particularly for any newcomers. Even those who have failed to reach the 4 or 5 assessed average they should only be allowed back on their assessed average.

It’s on but might not be in the schedule yet as it’s a reschedule. -

This needs making much simpler! No wonder the rule book can be interpreted to suit most arguments! -
Poole v Ipswich Play Off Semi 1st leg. 23/9/19

Of course, I meant to add that even tho it’s still an official league fixture it’s priority is trumped by that of a more important Play Off fixture. Didn’t think the PST will be classed as more important tho? -

It would be ridiculous for him to miss a vital play off meeting when his championship meeting is no longer a valid league meeting after the Play Offs cut off date. -

It’s a league meeting after the cut off date so should lose its priority to a more important meeting. -
Kings Lynn v Poole. Prem 19/9/19

I’ve been pretty vocal about his antics in the past and certainly does still seem to be at it the lower tier but has been like gold for Wolves afaik. -

Can’t say I read that, and as a Wolves fan I’d think I would have noticed. Peter Adams must disagree then, as he has described him as inspirational at times and has been a main stay at Wolves for a few seasons. And he could possibly be the captain of the new league winners in 3 weeks time. Never had much time for him in the past but my opinion on him as changed. Has been a pretty decent rider and captain for Wolves. -

Swindon v Belle Vue Premiership Cup Final 2nd. Leg
stevebrum replied to Ovalman's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Fair enough. I grant you it isn’t a KO Cup type final and it’s good to see the the Aces fans have much higher expectations these days given how bottom place was common place at Kirky. A facility like the NSS needs a team capable of challenging for honours too. -
Swindon v Belle Vue Premiership Cup Final 2nd. Leg

Hardly a disaster when you have made a Cup final. -
Swindon/Wolves Final?

The promoters don’t want a bigger league because some of them are selfish plus some of the riders have openly said they need 2 leagues to survive so you would lose several to retirement as well.

Kings Lynn v Poole. Prem 19/9/19
stevebrum replied to Steve Shovlar's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Poole are on a winning streak so don’t try and fool anyone into thinking that your team isn’t equally as strong. id imagine the bookies will agree that Poole are the favourites. None of us know what Ipswich will do over 2 legs with Play Off king Harris either! -
Won’t happen. Too many selfish 2nd tier teams that have no ambition or cut their cloth accordingly. No other credible league has that many teams. The top league in the World has 8 (Poland) whilst Sweden have 1 more. No other league has more teams.

Harris as expected a poor guest for MPT. 2 sides got lucky this week at Kings Lynn. Congratulations to the Pirates for topping the table.
