  1. Exactly. It’s like watching the traffic from an aeroplane!
  2. You can’t see who is who from afar. Not a fan.
  3. 6.59 championship average, don’t know what that equates to?
  4. It’s a shame the track that has been heralded as great so far has a very ordinary night on TV. The shape looks much better and clearly it needs more bedding in but this wasn’t very pretty viewing. Yet again riders jumping the start ruining it for the viewers both present and watching on a telly. How unprofessional are some of the Peterborough team with ultimately huge costly bike issues that cost the team victory. Hans and Rohan both very unprofessional. Panthers benefited greatly by 8 points from RR, points need to be used to replace Lasse whilst they can too. Swindon wanted to throw it away at the end and Ellis nearly cost the team points as well with another costly tape infringement. Wright was superb whilst Brady was brilliant. It’s a shame the new Abbey didn’t deliver tonight, let’s hope other live matches capture some magic.
  5. It’s funny how there are more injuries on the so called better tracks!
  6. I agree the replay from behind looks a little more tougher. Still think it’s an all 4 back decision but hey, that’s just an opinion.
  7. First bend bunching nothing more. Seen incidents like this many times. Like Shov says a racing incident and I’d assume no exclusion either?
  8. It doesn’t matter about comparing to other tracks. Track prep has been poor over recent seasons at a lot of tracks yet some seem to put more effort into it. Poole has been pointed out as being as being poor, this season ...... from there own fans. In this instance it doesn’t matter if other tracks are doing a worse job. One can only hope promotions put more effort into the riders stage.
  9. As is everything it will come down to the big myth of ‘in the best interest of British speedway’ rule that allows the BSPA to adapt/alter/change/ignore delete as applicable. The rule seems clear but yes I agree it would seem odd if it was extended further but won’t be surprised if it is either. such is the unpredictability/reliability of the supposed applied rules.
  10. I’m not sure then what Wolves are meant to do if a rider isn’t fit to start the season?
  11. In truth who wants to bother travelling hours for a shocking racetrack prep?
  12. Has had a couple of decent home matches and at least 1 decent one away. He also took a race win at Wolves. But an average of around 3.60 from all his meetings is a more telling story (without bonus points).
  13. Scott has been ok and probably better than expected. He has top scored twice out of 6 official meetings. And without looking is probably our highest overall average. But I wouldn’t want to keep him ahead of Jacob. His rolling average has increased to 6.51 so can still be a temporary replacement to Nick if it was agreed before the 1st May effective changes.
  14. The expected result then. One assumes the track was better tonight?
  15. Poole should win this but with 2 home losses already it’s not a given.
  16. Yes very true. But at least the Witches are competitive away which is great for all in the league.
  17. He is doing a good impression of the invisible man at the moment!
  18. Oops! Still think of him as a Swindon rider tho!
  19. Fair point, heat 13 was costly also. And when needing a 5-1 in heat 15 it was highly unlikely.
  20. I’d be surprised if he was being considered to replace Zach. Won’t fit for Shanes tho surely?
  21. Nielsen for Bellego likely, not for Shanes. Average too high.
  22. It’s an interesting insight and I hear what he is saying. It takes nothing away from the point they aren’t built to compete in the bigger heats and that ultimately cost Ipswich of the hope of a point which they still could have got in heat 15. Bomber hasn’t been as good at Monmore the past couple of seasons but is more than a worry if in the right mood and it would have been a different story if that was the case. Bomber riding injured was the ultimate cost I guess as he looked poor and clearly not fit for a much tighter circuit. Reserves won’t be the issue all season at Ipswich and I can see them top scoring in most away matches whoever it is. The likes of King and Harris need to step up more away but often are found wanting at times.
