It’s virtually every time the cameras are there the track is exposed every time yet then you get Shov telling everyone meetings are brilliant at Poole every week. This is just hang on and hope for the best. This is really not good advert for the sport at all. Why don’t the cameras just film from the NSS every week.

My main point was centred around coming back from injuries to soon. If your body isn’t 100% then there is a risk you aren’t strong enough to handle the bike when conditions or incidents happen. I take your point tho, there was little Tobi could do in this instance.

Bad news regards the injury to Tobi, he is really suffering with injuries this year and makes you wonder if he is coming back too early from injuries. He is a hard one to cover for so let’s hope he recovers quickly. Quick recovery Tobi.

Standard Prague racing tho. Never look forward to watching racing from there. At least it improved the last 3rd.

Swindon should win this despite the Aces topping the table. 49-41

Ipswich v Swindon Prem Lge 13th June 2019

Of course it’s all opinions, but a rider that has been riding at number 2 for the past 3 seasons SHOULD score heavily when riding in reserve. All immaterial now anyway! -

He has already scored 7 from a much tougher racing position so I’d expect double figures personally. -

I find it odd that Witches fans are moaning about Bomber yet are flying high in the league. You should be very happy! -
Which is why I added one meeting aside. Which is why I added one meeting aside. Kennett SHOULD do better away tho. I’m not that convinced tho. Fair point, although I did agree one meeting aside. I beg your pardon? Who have I made fun of?? Can you provide me any evidence?? Yes, I have a medical condition called insomnia, and some were more than happy to make fun of it.

Scott hasn’t been number standard in many a good season whilst Morris started last season at number one. Morris has no real known form at present so hard to judge but even if you go by last season Morris had a poor season yet still finished with a higher average than Scott. Scott has been in decent form this year which cannot be denied, Wolves have had 3 meetings with Jacob and Nick back, but yes have lost all 3.

You have to feel for Bellego after such a decent season last year but it was becoming obvious his time was becoming limited. Kennett away from home weakens the Witches although Bellego has been poor all season bar one match.
-
We could have, but the management have stuck to their original -7, so you can’t really fault that.
-
But only a week in UK
-
I hope not! Otherwise we are doomed!
-
I’m saying a comfortable home win whilst Morris and Jacob still settle.

A lot of that is fair point. And I will grant you it’s more about skill on today’s bike. Personally I like to see riders skillfully trying to master the tight turns and many have become experts over the years and it remains a joy to watch the top boys racing on it although less of that these days. Whilst I accept your point I have to disagree that it’s a track that’s not fit for purpose anymore.

The problem with an Aces fans opinion is just that any track is going to be inferior regards racing so are bound to see most other tracks as inferior. I know Monmore of the past couple of seasons that the racing hasn’t been as good ands that’s quite a bit to do with the loss of Doc as trackman and availability of suitable shale has been a key issue however there were rarely ever any rider moans when Doc was in charge which says more about why reasons Monmore isn’t as good as it was than riders struggling with the track. you can’t say ‘riders poddle around and get in all sorts of bother with it’ unless you go on a regular basis. Thats an accusation thrown at it for years yet SKY loved coming and filming and was regularly voted best prepared. So it’s mostly a nonsense and false claim.
-
Always variables of course. However when you are facing a team with riders missing, riders getting injured in the match before and a number one not fit to ride in his last 2 heats any opposition team should smell blood and go for the win. The perfect example of that is the Aces V Wolves double header yesterday. Wolves had 2 riders returning from injury and were potentially there for the taking. And that’s precisely what the Aces did. On paper we were stronger but dodgy during that transition period. Sometimes those sort of situations can either work in your favour when least expected.

Wolves v Belle Vue 27th May 19
stevebrum replied to Beowulf's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Don’t think many would expect Wolves to drop points at home, even Wolves fans. I read it as soon as I saw both Jacob and Nick were both back at the same time. Hopefully we can pick up from this and settle down and hopefully come September we will be bang on form. When it really matters.
