My husband attended this meeting and was very emotional when he passed the news to me. I then became 3 times as emotional as him. Whatever the outcome well done to all those involved in a possible return. I'm cock-a-hoop for a positive result and will transition from an armchair supporter of speedway at to my local club.

I sympathise fully with the promotion. However I've just broken the news to my other half and his mate who are just about to cross the border from England to the dark side. Funnily enough he didn't sound as sympathetic to me. I treated them to a hotel room too! (Non--refundable now)

The NHS employs many staff not just Doctors and Nurses. Incidentally I have been to Poland twice to follow speedway and sidecar speedway. Anyway -- pleased to have exchanged pleasantries.

Well I obviously can't comment on the relationship between you both. I am British born and bred and my career has mainly been in the NHS. The Polish people I came across (and there were many) were polite and friendly. The N.H.S. would have been lost without them as would many other areas of employment. I am personally sorry to see so many go back to their native country and am of the opinion it is Britain's loss. (Apologies for going off topic)
