Why is it Sheffield Speedway do not offer concessions to Students? Two major universities and many colleges and you expect them to pay full adult price, defo missing a trick here- and yes I do have a daughter at University of Sheffield and resent paying on top of her fees , loans, housing etc that I already pay to the Sheffield economy.

The usual Scunny and Auty haters out in force again. No wonder riders get disgruntled, disinterested, disillusioned and despairing with constant deriding of them. Scunny fans happen to like Josh, he made a rash decision which he now regrets and will be back in the fold very soon. We are at the wrong end of the league, abiding by the rules, so what's the fuss? Just live with it, life is too short for trivial things in this of all weeks.

Sunny clouds and light wind, just past the track.

Is there a witch hunt out for Josh Auty? There are 3 others under performing at the head of the queue before Josh and they are well known. Speedway is a confidence game and we have a big shortage of that. Josh , Wilko and Ryan great to watch blasting around the outside in the dirt, but this season all are hugging the inside??? Not a fan of the 5.30pm home start for us as the track is unpredictable -much prefer a later start up personally. One day they will all hit a purple patch and some favourable side will get a hiding-just seems a long way off right now. Keep the faith! -
Why bother when Scorpions are 20 minutes away.

The problem is the lack of wind protection around the microphone and either speaking too close, or too far away from it. It is not just Rodger, we never caught a word of Rob's conversation with TJ either. For what its worth, Roger when he can be heard, conducts some interesting conversations with supporters. Rob please buy a sports microphone and replace the speaker ( or alternatively turn it to face into the stand) just after the start line as the sound is terrible. Thanks. ps- any chance of some cheap air horns so the kids can make some noise and create more of an atmosphere.

Fozzie at least your favourite rider will not be riding, so you can't blame him for any upsets tomorrow. -

Why single out Josh? His performance was on a par with the rest of the team barring MPT. -

A massive performance from MPT and the others chipping in to gain an unexpected point-well done. -

Our only chance is a rain off with no recognised reserves. -

We must do better on the road this season. Given that so far our form has been unsatisfactory, Rob has had words and the team will kick on now, hopefully. -
No passing at EWR this must be a wind up justere2cgoodspeedway? Even the die hard Glasgow true fans, know the EWR is renowned for being the best passing track in the country for real racers. . Contemplating coming up to Ashfield, but the long range weather forecast looks a bit doubtful, however plenty of time to change yet .

Yes, according to our website. -
Plenty of students at John Legget studying Media or Photography that maybe might appeal to?

PA system facing towards the stand just after the start tapes is poor, yet those in the carpark are great! Middle of the centre green- whoever is using the microphone, needs a sports mike shield to protect from the wind roar, as most times interviews are inaudible. Can the box and centre green man, talk to each other to cut the music during interviews also.

Scorpions V Witches 3rd July 2016 Premier League
scunny1 replied to ScunnyDan's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
Anyway, back to the Scorpion thread. Were the Witches that bad I don't think so, but expected more from King and Covatti. At last the Scorpions looked hungry and gating well, 6 out of the 7 getting at least one confidence boosting heat win. Hope we can now kick on, get firing on all cylinders, have some consistency, keep injury free and move quickly up the table. -

Congrats to the Bandits. As for the Scorpions apart from Ryan who put in a good effort and young Josh doing what is expected of him ,the remainder of the team are in turmoil Big Josh not doing what we know he can and looks under powered. Andreas , early days but on a 7 average can't see him anywhere near that so far. MPT knows the track backwards and can do much better. Alex, a real worry and major form loss, days could be numbered. Wilko, at reserve, should get shed load of points every week ,but so inconsistent. Presume Rob was as gutted with the display as the crowd were since he disappeared again from the centre green mid match? Nobody even bothered to give us the raffle draw result??? Highlight of the match was watching Dumb and Dumber Start Marshalls - white liners of the year!!! -

Been watching the Scopions/Stags since the Ashby Ville days and to say this team is lack lustre is an under statement. Last year I too went to Glasgow, to watch our relatively strong team get beaten by the Tigers. This year no way was I going to drive 5 hours each way, to witness a severe drubbing that was always on the cards. Holub-- bad signing, Lyager weak again-( if it happens) and the rest so inconsistent. Speedway is all about preparation ,skill and confidence and the current Scorpion set up is sadly lacking in all areas. We need a big hitter soon, or crowds will dwindle to just the usual hard core couple of hundred. It will be interesting to see what positive spin the two Robs can put on this inept performance.
