Championship League Team Points Limit
scunny1 replied to DC2's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
38 has made the product inferior. We need to go 40 points at least, preferably 42. -
Sheffield has 50000 students that partly change year on year. Potential numbers to attend from there if promoted favourably- free pint with admission?
-
Must be talking about Worky track ?
-
We should produce a track to suit Jake and Josh.
-
I heard that rumour too and not impressed. Team on the cheap again and no ambition with that lot.
-
Good luck Tigers, we will miss our local fixtures against you. Leicester and Redcar seem a long way for Scunny to have local away fixtures! Will pop over now and again to get a Premier fix.
-
On todays showing Jordan Palin looks to be a very big risk. Could be a year too soon for him and I would rather see Anders Rowe, or Max Clegg at reserve.
-
Thought Grajczonek was ineligible for this league-Polish licence?
-
Not his fault he keeps getting torpedoed off and breaking limbs. One very unlucky guy!
-
Auty's testimonial next March so nailed on. Palin committed to signing for Scorpions at start of the year, but not old enough yet to ride.

NLRC - Scunthorpe, Sunday, NOW October 20th, 5pm

Came from Scorpion's press officer, so must have been sanctioned by Rob Godfrey (Scunthorpe Promotor and Vice Chairman of BSPA ) first. More info to follow according to Scorpion's site. -
Like it , but think Barker will go further South. Douglas will want mega pay deal after Leicester too.
-
When Worrall gates he is ok ,if he doesn't then he's not interested-It's a no from me. Charles Wright or Kyle Howarth would be good- more racers than gating tarts please.

No way will points limit be 38 as it has been a disaster. This league will revert back to 42.5 or 40 points at the minimum. -

Think Garrity is Scunthorpe asset swopped for MPT. -
Season Finale - Scorpions v Redcar 8.9.19
scunny1 replied to ScunnyDan's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
Good to tell you are Scorpions PR man. Last races meant nothing? Well tell that to a stand full of supporters around me , who were incensed that the track had not been graded but, actually bladed and outside line totally removed, robbing us of actual racing instead of follow the leader hugging the inside. -

Yeah we liked the track at Glasgow, but the Tigers didn't. Our promotor is too busy ripping the track up and taking air fence down for next day stockcars to attend to after meeting event. -

What the hell did Rob get the blade out for and ruin a track that was perfectly acceptable to the Scorpions? Managed to gift the Bears a point making the track slick with only an inside line and follow the leader round. -

We don't have a team of gaters, but rather a team of racers that like to ride the fence. On many occasions this season we have not had an outside line. That is where we have missed a trick . Perhaps the track curator should go to the after meeting riders get together and listen to what his team riders think of the track. -

Was the track so great this year? Myself, other fans and some of the riders themselves think the track has not been up to previous year's standard. Rob needs to listen to what his riders want, rather than what track conditions he wants to produce. -
Back to the main topic and hoping for a safe meeting for all riders and a Scorpion win.
