Firstly congrats to the Tigers on their win, richly deserved and also their fans who made the few of us who made the 520 mile round trip very welcome. Tigers were clearly very determined and we, apart from those already mentioned, were not even at the races. A potential 8-1 for us turned into a 3-2 against, was the last chance to get back into the match, from then on any chance of points was gone. Final nail in the coffin a farcical heat 15, from a Referee who penalised us every time the rider anticipated the tapes going up. Tape rules and inconsistent Refs need addressing by the Management committee because the paying public and riders are being robbed. We had 4 hours drive home to discuss our bitter disappointment dissecting every heat. I am sure Rob also could not wait to get away from Glasgow and quickly move on , so it seemed the speed he passed us at just before Southwaite Services. Time to regroup, refocus and try to maintain a top 6 position at the cut off date. On last nights performance we have much to do.

3rd bend always does collect water and first bend to a lesser degree. Why not just roll out some covers to vulnerable area, like cricket covers for example. As for rain just before the meeting, no, finished raining at least an hour before tapes up.Some Scunny riders were driving out at 18.04 hrs, just as I was driving in. No rain until 20.50 so it could have taken place if Ref pushed two minutes after every race.

Best track for passing and sheer entertainment from the riders has to be Scunthorpe. Best track for facilities?- all depends what you want, keep your carvery, inside viewing etc, I go for the racing and like the smell of methanol and taste of shale.

Fanzone on Wood Street a massive mistake, too small, no atmosphere- move it back to usual place next year please. Stunter was great, just been out on my Beemer trying some moves-pillion not impressed! Whole presentation was super slick and very impressive- early ish finish meant half hour wait for local train back to car 6 miles out of Cardiff , But back home just outside Scunthorpe for 01.15 hrs and never broke speed limits. The other Scunny lad is turning out to be a very worthy World Champ and fantastic ambassador for our beloved sport- Well done Tai on and off track!!!

Is this Rob's " I paid extra for this wrong forecast" ??? -
Birks is more of a team player, David Howe looked well miffed with his whole team and management all night at Sheffield on Thursday. I would leave Birks in and let Howe go myself, if averages fit .

More like Thomas Jorgenson being the sacrifice than Auty or Birks. He would do you a good job at Sheffield too.

Hope Josh and Ash show some form or we will get stuffed big time. -
Are these from German or Japanese league???

If we ever went down the line of "Referee's Assistant", in my opinion they need to be stood on bend 1 since thats where 75% of start incidents occur. That is first bend bunching, leaning on each other or just sliding off untouched.

Thanks to our two guests for your useful contributions, as for our own team members-what the F*** is going on, 15 points between you all is not good enough!!! Another team talk from Rob is required and sorry Matt, its a season too soon for you. -
What they had two tactical rides to get them back in. Who is worried about Tommy and Cap'n Birks not me? TJ at reserve will be mega points for him. I am more worried about daylight track drying out and losing what little home advantage we have on every Sunday and Bank Holiday meeting, looking forward to usual Friday night race nights.
