  1. Great return by the ex Scunny boys, had my doubts on this one from the off. This year nobody apart from Ash is riding to their potential and we look also rans this season so far. Well done Rebels see you on Friday hopefully, but can't see our pair doing much.
  2. In my humble opinion a home side should not be allowed a TR.If they are so far behind at home, they don't deserve an inflated chance to catch up and drastically affect a match.
  3. Two excellent guests, 3 ex Scorpions/Saints + Rene and Rusty, we could be struggling carrying our two reserves. Ryan and Josh need to step up to the mark to make a valuable contribution ,or points will be going back to Cumbria. Too close to call this one, maybe another last heat decider???
  4. Cannot carry two reserves, Bates is not up to this level yet, Tom Young would have scored many more points at home, time for changes at the bottom.
  5. I worry about our young Josh Bates at reserve as well, so him and Makinen will cancel each other out.
  6. Must have been the two Munchkins walking around singing something about a wicked witch being dead A good meeting with plenty of passing, but bit agrieved about letting the Diamonds back into it. Josh seemed to want to prove he is number one and wants to stay that way.Lewis Kerr looked well capable, Steve Worrall had a dreadful night on a track he knows so well- expect he will score a lot more at Brough Park. Jury still out on young Mr Bates, may be a step to far, too early and a good reserve can be crucial to a team. Sure Rob and Mr Peet are playing the long game, but I need convincing quick.
  7. Two miles away, dry but overcast, 10 degrees( heat wave) and no wind- perfect for speedway.
  8. 1st Michael Palm Toft - winning time of 57.79 2nd Joe Haines 3rd Ricky Wells Fozzie you beat me to the button by 3 seconds
  9. It is heartening to see nice words from the Somerset fans, you are a credit to your team. 30 laps of pure entertainment from the Rebels and the Scorpions ,unfortunatly someone had to miss out- best of luck for next season.
  10. Oh dear such a sad loser, have not heard such drivel from a female Worky fan for a least a day!
  11. Thats funny we seemed to have the PL Championship trophy in our hands last night. We all knew the format at the start of the season ,like it or not.
  12. You keep all the others, we won the league nobody remembers the rest
  13. You had to be there to appreciate it was not gate and go at all-newcomers would have loved the drama!!!! Well done to both teams , 30 nail biting heats and down to a last heat clincher-classic play off again.
  14. Overcast but drying at the moment, weather is coming from your direction so hopefully dry York way?
  15. More like April weather- Sun, light shower, sun , light shower, blue sky again at the moment fingers crossed it stays that way
  16. Bit different at 3pm to what it was 6 hours earlier. The track staff were trying their damndest, blading, laying more shale but persistant drizzle no chance. If its any consolation its still raining now. Shame for the travelling fans but they said they had only seen odd showers travelling up and only last 20 miles was the rain more persistant. Damned if you call it off early and damned for waiting for the weather too-just cant get over the crap wet season all tracks have had to endure. Lets hope next year brings good weather and good crowds or more teams will go to the wall.
  17. Clouded up a bit , but still fine. Weather is coming from Sheffield direction so you Tiggers will get any weather 20 mins before us
  18. One mile away, sun trying to break through the clouds, slight cool breeze, track will be spot on.
  19. Strange I have the same view about Scorpions at the OTA. Hope both ties are good close racing on the two best tracks in the country, however the Scorpions hopefully just have the edge come Sunday night.
  20. Hmmm the bitter Diamond's fan supports the even more bitter Comet fan, get over it we are in the final. If we win fine, if we don't we are still runners up whichever route you want to go, Mini League results or main standings. I for one have watched my team come bottom of the league on several occasions since 1975 ,so please, let us have our moment for once.We have enjoyed a cracking season ,with many handicaps, but we have all worked for each other, fans, riders and management, I will personally look back on this year's successes with some pride in my team.
  21. MPT in your team ,you are all deluded, dream on.
  22. If both are rained off, do Scorpions win the league on home and away aggregate from earlier league encounters at Somerset and Scunthorpe.
