Also begs the question, if everyone knew this would happen, why was this the first set of play off's to be staged with two riders going for podium places in the GP 2 days later, with a poor forecast. Decision was announced 3 days after the last GP round so it wasn't a surprise that 2 of the Belle Vue team would be up for some serious silver wear 2 days later

Old factory site is interesting - what's the track in the US that appears to be in a factory? I'm sure it was used in the background of the True Detective series? Could that be an option (proper air extraction included of course) for the UK? Sound proofed walls and a filtrations systems wonder if anyone has ever explored that idea

Great stuff! There were a few pictures of the back straight at Newport and I don't ever remember it being that busy but it was packed out!

Not quite on the same lines as the other posts but I bought some photo's off Vinted from Newport that were taken on the corner I used to stand with my old man after a few too many sherbets last week. The lady kindly put in a host a of old programmes that her uncle had left, opened the package at my old mans and they turned out to be his old programmes dating back to the early 70s and up to 2004. He'd sold them on just after Newport closed and I've somehow managed to get them back. Great Sunday afternoon reminiscing over lunch

Someone on here this week referred to Fricke and Kurtz as modern day Adams and Crump and it’s one of the best comparisons I’ve seen on here in years. Brady’s got that killer instinct, what a ride from gate 2

A assume Beau Bailey the young Aussie that's been doing well in the SGP3 the last few years. Thinks you're referring too Connor Bailey that was at Glasgow and Redcar.

As Panther and BaldBloke have said it must have been Swaffham, that makes more sense!

Didn't Alex Brady try to buy Northampton but got told it was too close to Lynn/Ipswich?

Sedgman or Kerr?

Barker had his appendix out last week didn't he? It was down as R/R but he'd be the obvious one -
Eurosport, terrible professionalism.

It's a massive 'boys club', especially when it comes to broadcasting and publicity. There's a finite amount of people involved and you can't get into that inner circle or critic it or you'll be ostracized. -

Still ended up beating his closest challenger who had the beating of him first and second time out. -

As good as I have to admit he is, he gets every single bit of luck. Kurtz finally beats him up but Lebedevs wont get off the track. He'll go out and walk the re run now -
Wimbledon Dons...back from the dead?!!

Presumably either by Sandown racecourse or Surbiton raceway, probably the latter as there is already a model car racetrack there by the looks -
One thing is for certain, all the moaning we collectively do about the Poles running the sport and ruining it, you cannot knock their efforts/commitment to get riders fit again. Watching the Tai video this week, the Wroclaw sponsors must have forked out a serious amount of money to help him get back on his feet so quickly, same with Brady here and there are lots of other incidents where they have paid for all physio costs. I don't really remember similar stories over here, outside of the Ben Fund (who do a fantastic job) the help riders get from their clubs appears to be very minimal.
